These negative reviews are kind of comical to me. Anna is a spectacular dentist. She's meticulous in her care for her patients and always looks for the most realistic and cost-effective solutions. I floss and brush twice a day, and naturally I just dislike going to the dentist. Prior to the visit I had with Kupchik dental, I probably hadn't been to the dentist in a year because I do everything I'm "supposed to." I'm a healthy 30 year old. Went here for a cleaning and the dental hygienist was nice, but Dr. Kupchik basically made me feel like I was a terrible person because I hadn't been to the dentist in the standard "every 6 months." First thing she said to me (a new patient), was "What's up with your dental hygiene?" She basically made me feel like every single one of my teeth were going to fall out, and I had to come back to get a deep cleaning (more $ in her pocket), even though the hygienist MAYBE spent 10 total minutes cleaning my teeth. If my teeth were in such bad shape, why did it take her such a short amount of time to clean them? I wish I had read the reviews before I came because a lot of them said that they were told to come back for more procedures that they didn't need. Giving two stars because it was clean. read more

Beautiful and welcoming office with updated magazines and TV while you wait! Very professional & friendly staff. You can tell they enjoy working there. Dr. Kupchik was very nice, informative and attentive to my questions / concerns. In the past I have left the dentists office feeling sick to my stomach about quotes for work that needs to be done in the near future. By the way I was being spoken to I could tell these dental offices were taking advantage of me due to my young age (early 20's). This was not the case with my experience with Kupchik Dental. I left confident that they were there to provide me with the best of care and fulfill my dental needs with reasonable pricing. read more

DONT COME HERE. This dr will try and steal your money. I knew 3 people who worked there who don't anymore because of her practice. She told me one thing and billed me for another procedure that was cheaper for her. Do not trust her or her practice. To the office staff: Don't tell potential clients she performs procedures she does not. My wife was very clear about the procedure my daughter needed; her wisdom teeth removed. We arrived early for our appointment, yet were made to wait for an extended period of time. After the wait, Dr. Kupchik came in and offered us advice our daughter's regular dentist could have given us, then told us she could not remove her wisdom teeth because she doesn't do that kind of procedure. MY DAUGHTER ALREADY HAS A DENTIST, AND A GOOD ONE! We shared precisely why we were coming, and you wasted our day off with our daughter! The dentist then said she would get us a referral to another doctor. She left our space, and went into the exam space next to us and gave that patient, who was scheduled after us, an entire checkup before returning to us with the name of a doctor that doesn't take our insurance, even though we made it clear what our insurance was and that we were not in a position to pay out of pocket. Furthermore, I read reviews about her having a kind demeanor. She spoke about our daughter as if she wasn't in the room. Never once introduced herself to our 11 year old and was very cold the entire time- talking about issues we should be concerned about, but never even looking in our child's direction. What a shame! Our daughter has a dentist that always addresses her and us and does both with kindness and compassion! She had never had a negative experience in a dental office until now. read more

I paid for a temp. Bridge and it fell out while we were waiting I had to have it reclued at least 8 times during the time I was getting married. Yes, I get nervous. Bc she is inexperienced she took her anger out on me. And told me to leave her office after I paid! So I contacted the state. I think she acted so kind at first, but when it came done to doing something she's not comfortable with she can't handle it! Oh by the way the last the temp fell she left me w no teeth in that area. As far as a person she told me she was Russian ! Thats not true. I just think she's not qualified and the same day I went to a diffent dentist and the quality and caring was unbelievably different! Dr. Kupchik has been my dentist for a few years now and I absolutely love going to her office. The staff, hygienists and the Doctor herself are very friendly and knowledgeable! I used to be afraid of all of my dental appointments but with Dr. Kupchik that's not the case. Everyone there make sure that you're comfortable for the entire visit. Also, taking X-rays used to be a big problem for me in other dental offices; however, in Dr. Kupchik's office it was quick and painless. I highly recommend!!! read more

If you are reading this, you are luckier than me.. I regret that I didn't research this practice before i go. Check yelp. I did crown for one of my teeth but it fall off after a month. Dr couldn't put it back.. I changed the practice, the receptionist was so rude, didn't send the X-rays to my new doctor. I had to go and visit them.. what a waste and unprofessional!! Eventually, it was sent mixed and un-dated. Most important, they didn't give me my crown back. The doctor knows about this. They said that they couldn't find it. Guess what, it is either you pay for it or I have to sue you!!!!!!! read more

after being in NJ 65 years and same dentist 31 years I was pleasantly astounded at how much more competent and modern my treatment here has been, they removed 5 teeth in 1 visit, max. 1 at former dentist, 5-7 fillings 1 visit as same max 1 at other, my dentures are great and was quoted $10,680 at former and dentures not an option, there was no way they would fit me...well they do! cost w/insurance 5 extractions- $375; former $275 for 1. and my entire mouth repaired for around $1,500! savings of over $8500 and far superior work, the former dentist left 1/2 of 3 extracted teeth in my gums! and charged me $3,400 for a faulty bridge...they fixed it, no charge! Dr Kupchick is wonderful and very professional, the staff and associate dentist are superb. highly rated, a great find! love them. read more

I called back in December to inquire about the deal they had on Groupon and they told me that i should not purchase it until i come in for a consultation. They didnt have any appointments until Jan so i took what they had. I went for my visit both receptionists asked me if id purchased the Groupon and i told them that i was recommended not to unless i have a consultation. Neither of them said anything about it and continued to have me register in their system. I waited for a half an hour and finally meet the doctor. She tool a quick look around and told me i would have to get my wisdom teeth pulled first which was something i was aware of. This tool all about 10 mins and when i went to the front the receptionist told me that it would be $50 for that. i was a little taken back because ive been to a few dentists for consultations and not one of them charge patients for 10 mins of their time. I didnt see why she needed to charge me for a quick discussion and just to look at my teeth. She didnt use any equipment or did anything. I honestly felt taken advantage of because no one mentioned this over the phone or at the front desk before i arrived. To make matters worse they discontinued the Groupon and not one person informed me of this. So now after being told by the doctor not to buy the Groupon and come in for a quick ($50 for 10 mins) consultation i dont have the option to purchase the Groupon and they never mentioned anything about honoring the price because i was told not to buy it. I informed them that i didnt have dental insurance over the phone and when i went into the office and not one person told me their would of been a charge or that they are no longer offering the Groupon. I was so excited to come to this place, i did research on the Doctor and told all my co-workers and family. It was really disheartening to of been taken advantage of and to have to tell everyone about my unpleasant experience. read more

When I went to there office. I had anxiety but obviously I did not want to show it. But they were really kind, seriously. I did notice at first, her eyes since its really bright and was, the first thing I noticed immediately. But after that, there kindness towards me really helped me visit. I did check in! it was my first time there by myself for the first time and so it was so nerve wrecking. One of her assistant was very kind as well and I regret not knowing her name as well. But it's because of her that she was able to tell me it was my wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted. I'm serious, I've been complaining about it in other offices for SO LONG and they all said it wasn't my wisdom tooth. But yet, this one woman told me in just a few minutes what was the real problem. I am seriously so thankful of her, and I think that anyone who is nervous. . . I promise, you won't have to worry! seriously, they're truly kind people who puts you at ease. read more

Dr. Kupchik was very nice and does good work; however, her front office staff is very rude and deceiving. We agreed and discussed "twice" the co-payment and after the work was done, a bill more than double was given to me. When I brought this up to the receptionist/medical billing lady, she was totally rude and not willing to work with me at all (she lied). I will never go there again! read more

I have been searching for a dentist for a while. I need to have some dental work done and have no dental insurance, so I found a Groupon for a cleaning and x-rays. I had heard good things about Dr. Kupchik and the price was right so I signed up. The Groupon was nearing its expiration date, so I called to set up an appointment. They said they couldn't get me in before it expired, but that they would redeem the Groupon in advance and schedule an appointment for later. I was assured that they do that all the time. I went in for my appointment today and while I was filling out the paperwork, the receptionist told me that they normally don't accept expired groupons. She checked with the doctor, who said that she would honor the $50 toward the cost of the appointment and that I would be responsible for the rest. I told her about the conversation I had when I set up the appointment, and that it would be honored. No dice. I left and told them good luck with their practice. I wish I had known that they were going to do this, so I wouldn't have taken time off work. Now I have this Groupon that I already paid for, that was already redeemed. The receptionist said it was all a big misunderstanding and if I called Groupon I may be able to get my money back. I'm mad. This is obviously a scam, and I'm going to search for a dentist that doesn't do shady things with their promotions. Don't go here. If she is trying to grow her business by using a promotion, don't do the bait and switch with the patients who are likely to come back and spend a lot of money on other services. I will now recommend that no one get sucked into it like I did. read more

This place is a joke!! First of all they never submitted a predetermination for tooth extraction. Result...appointment one cancelled. Then they submitted it for the wrong person and said it was denied. I had to call the insurance company to find out it was in fact approved and then call the office back to explain it to them! Finally, ONE THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT (1 hour before), they called to cancel the appointment because the oral surgeon had an "emergency". Not only that, but they told me to find another oral surgeon altogether! I can't believe I was even going to go there after the first debacle! I wouldn't trust them to give me a bandaid, much less anything more serious! HORRIBLE! read more
