They took an 87 year old man with pulmonary fibrosis in the chair and did not wait for the Novacaine to kick in, I heard blood curdling scream from a guy who normally has a high tolerance for pain. He said it was pure torture. Come back the next week. Doctor has to remove two bone spurs no Novacaine absolutely crazy, no empathy and even joked about the fact that he could remove the bone spurs before the patient took off his gloves. What a jerk. That is nothing to be proud of and once should not feel pain in a dentists office.shameful. !

After 60years of hiding behind my hands or other people I now stand front and center and laugh with no fear. I don't run away when someone brings out a camera. All of this was made possible by Dr.Syed. I was very apprehension but after my first visit I felt like I was going to achieve my dream. Dr Syed did full dental implants (top and bottom) and I was catered to every step of the way by his wonderful stall and the Dr. Himself. The whole procedure was relatively painless and never was left looking like I was under going a major dental procedure. From the very beginning I had a smile that I could be proud of. I only give them one star because I can't give less. This dental office is not reputable and not…read morecapable. I needed an oral surgeon for 1 extraction. I've never had so much pain from an extraction!! The majority of the pain was in the tooth NEXT to the one pulled, and that tooth broke within 2 weeks! I had NO problem with it prior to this visit. He jammed in the novacaine needle wthout any care. But, what really made me mad was that they cheated me out of $90.00, knowing that I was unemployed and hurting for money. My insurance was temporarily inactive while waiting for Cobra coverage. So, I used a dental discount plan. For one1 extraction, the bill was a whopping $450.00, and that was the discounted rate!!! Initial I was told between $100 and $200 before the discount! A few weeks later I sent in the claim. To my surprise, the amount they billed insurance was WAYless than my 'discounted' rate!! They billed insurance $360, insurance paid $270 and designated patient responsibility as $90. I know insurance companies pay less, but... Nagpal promptly sent me a check for $270. My share should have been $90 but I paid $450 and got back $270. I sent them a copy of the claim clearly stating that I should have paid $90 and requesting the refund. They refused. If they were reputable they would have gladly refunded the correct amount. For me they fell far short in both honesty and capability. AND, to top it all off, my regular dentist was totally unable to read any of the x-rays forwarded by Nagpal's office. What a waste!!!!

The office staff here and the hygienists are fantastic. However, I recently had teeth extracted…read morehere. All went well besides the dentist using profanity. I was in a bit of discomfort and anxious during the procedure. The dentist started talking to me like i was a baby which was odd and also basically told me i needed to be quiet. Strange but not the end of the world. I developed a relatively common complication afterwards. A few days after the extraction, the office called to check on me and i told them i was still in a lot of pain but the dentist assured me it was normal. Over the weekend the pain continued to get worse. I called the office Monday and the dentist didn't think i needed to be seen--she just sent antibiotics to the pharmacy. I didn't think this was right so I went to another dentist who diagnosed me with dry socket and they advised I call again to get them to see me. So finally, they decided to have me come in. The dry socket was treated. I understand this to be a condition that really just requires time. But the way this was handled was not on par with ADA standards. In addition to that, during the extraction the dentist noted that i had an active infection in the tooth being extracted. So I'm not sure why she didn't prescribe antibiotics in the first place. All in all I'm just really disappointed in my experience here. I'm supposed to go back and get my other two wisdom teeth removed but the overall experience has been so traumatic that I'm terrified to even go to a new dentist. Also, they are quite expensive here. My family had the discount plan which we paid about $90/month for and I'm not quite sure what it actually discounted. Which would have been fine with me if it wasn't such an awful experience. She referred me to an oral surgeon for my other two teeth and again im not sure why she didn't just do that in the first place. Patients shouldn't have to basically beg to be seen and for proper care. I trusted them because I knew very little about standard dentistry practices beforehand but after speaking with others my experience was absolutely not normal or acceptable. The other dentist was visibly angry as i was describing the situation. Please save your money and avoid this dentist.
