They clearly have regulars, as you'd think they have their own personal fan club. People joking and speaking with them, addressed by name. I love environments like this! Make a point of telling these hard-working staff how appreciated they are! It makes a huge difference in the experience. Reasons for star reduction? No curbside option like the Bearden location, deep potholes making turned over carts blocking spots in the lot, and often picked over/out-of-stock items that I can find quickly at other locations. As for the must-try items at Aldi? We love: -100% whole wheat bread -mini rasisin bagels -Hawaiian rolls -Apple Streusel bread (holy YUM!) -Chocolate Chip brioche loaf (great for french toast) -zucchini/squash -peppers -bags of apples -Parm couscous -salmon (much fresher than grocery or big box stores) -family chicken breasts -deli ham (comes in 2 sealed packs, so lasts longer) -hummus -cheeses! goat, unique cheddars, fondue, string -french onion dip (like the yummy old Dean's variety that has been altered in recent years) -Dairy staples-milk, almond milk, plain greek yogurt (in place of sour cream for us), half-and-half -Parm crisps -Garlic Herb Goat Cheese Risotto (Fall seasonal) -Asiago Cheddar crisps(Winter seasonal and amazing) -Nuts (cashews are yummy and a great deal here!)

A friend from Amish Country was with us and instead of driving by, we stopped in to investigate because the sign read "Amish Market." Let me tell you, DO NOT judge a book by it's cover. The business was apparently damaged by a flood, so don't let the exterior turn you off. Come on in and take a step back in time. Fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, cheeses, candies, nuts and dried fruit candies, canned fruits, salsas, pickled everything, Amish soaps and lotions and I could go on and on. My friend from Amish country was ecstatic when she found her grandmother Troyer's soaps and lotions ... omg!!! It's a mom & pop style operation and your support, I'm certain would be appreciated. It's like a farmer's market under one roof. What are you waiting for? I'll return for sure!!

About five dollars for a tiny container of maybe 2 ounces of gummy bears.

While the veggie market moves during the winter months to a different location, they all join up here in April! From fresh local seasonal produce that is so much tastier than anything you can get in the store, to amazing loaves of long ferment sourdough, to simple ingredient dog treats, to family-raised healthy clean meats and eggs, to artisan soap, art, and other crafts. It's an awesome mix of goodness!! It is my first stop every Saturday morning, and I will be a committed consumer of the local small businesses from here on out! I almost hate to share this place, but I also want people to know there are healthier options in this small town. Hint: You should go early if you're serious about getting specific things on your shopping list - many people like me call this place 'my local market,' and they can sell out quickly. I learned my lesson one Saturday ::: Never Again!! Some of my favorite vendors I frequent weekly: Carl Mahle Farm (grass-fed and finished beef & OLF sourdough) Extra Terrestrial Mushrooms (the most beautiful mushrooms ever) Zavel's Family Farms (lamb, beef, and pork) and beautiful veggies Rebel Hollow Farm (pasture raised pork and lamb : grain finished beef) Goeofoods (best granola & granola bars ever)

It looks like some people also park in the square This farmer's market was bustling with locals and tons of fresh produce and homemade goods. I was able to purchase a wide variety of spicy and mild peppers. I also bought some local garlic and elephant garlic. Everything was well priced. I didn't purchase any, but there was a lot of different types of corn and potatoes. There were also a multitude of meat vendors. I would love to see an initiative to promote bringing you own bag. Many people were just getting plastic bags. I know some of the other markets I've been to carry their own line which would be very easy for this market to establish. If for some reason I missed someone providing this service I apologize.

They based the cost on an old prescription for the same medicine which is due to expire. I had a coupon for 90 tablets (3 times more tablets than I received) that would have cost $46. Because the pharmacy did not fill the new prescription, I received fewer tablets at double the cost of what I would have paid if they had used the new prescription instead of the old one. Not only did I not get the correct amount of tablets, I also paid twice the amount I should have paid. They would not take the pills back and correct their mistake because I did not see that they had messed up until after I left the prescription pick-up counter. Furious!

It is small and thoughtfully decorated with some IG-worthy walls, a menu full of smoothies, bowls, toasts, and coolers of grab-and-go bowls and frozen pops. While our bowls and eggy avocado toast were made, I chatted with the owner about their biz, travels, and ingredient choices. They try to source locally and when they discovered I worked for Yelp, they asked for recs for local bakeries that make amazing bagels, as they currently get theirs shipped from NY. I love these attentions to detail and desire to support other Knox small businesses. Our bowls (a build your own and the berry bowl) were SO good...and refreshing. As a heads up, the owner told me that they overflow the bowls when you order in instead of to go, as the lid takes up more space. Ask for the lid on the side and have a few bites before putting the lid on and leaving. The toast was well-constructed and perfectly balanced with creaminess of the avo, thin slices of boiled egg, and salty/crunchy kick from the Everything Bagel seasoning. YUM. In the South, we gravitate towards fried food and pimento cheese, so Hippie Bowls is a welcomed change for my arteries. ;-) Not only will I be back, but I will recommend this biz to all of my friends.
