Passion Fruit Green Tea with mango jelly
Betsy G.

For the tea lovers, boba, jelly all flavors. Very refreshing. Place is small but clean. Service is very good gives you many options to choose.

Strawberry Milk Slush
Sam S.

This slush is awful. It's just a cup of ice shards with a washed-out color. They might have added a bit of milk, but clearly not enough, or maybe they barely put in any syrup. It's a watery, flavorless mess, and the staff seriously need to be retrained if this is the kind of drink they're serving.

Ordered at 12:38PM for pick up on the app. ready eta was 12:43. Which is practically the standard time (or less) that it takes to prepare the drink. Drink was still not ready upon arrival at 12:45. Multiple guests came in after me and ordered and all got their drinks prior. After everyone left is when they started packing my drinks. It was a 15 minute wait, inside the store, after arriving after the eta that it would be ready by, for my drink to be ready. What the point of allowing people to order on the app if they are going to be served last. Just do what Popeyes does and disable allowing customers to order on the app if customers who order on the app are going to be last priority. I literally order ahead so I can pick up my drink ASAP since I have to return to work like everyone else, but what's the point if I'm going to get it AFTER everyone who orders in store who enter AFTER I arrive. And this KFT location is always like this. The KFT in Brooklyn on 8th avenue always has my drink by the time I arrive. So I don't know what the issue is. Which is why I'd rather order Gong Cha at least in China Town. And Gong Cha has better rewards too, so it's an easy decision. I literally only visit this location because my bf prefers the slush from KFT. TLDR - don't order in KFT app at this location. You will be served last. Drinks are good, like any other bbt place

This place was GREAT! Located in Chinatown. My cousin recommended this place and she didn't steer me wrong. The place is tiny but space is a high commodity in NY. There were lots of people (young teens) inside but the 2 guys taking and making the orders were quick. I ordered a large Mango slush since the weather was getting a bit warm. It was cool and refreshing. I loved that I could taste Mango chunks in the slushie. Would definitely recommend this place. They were quick to get me my drink.

SOO GOOD! I'm not a big fan of Kung Fu Tea milk tea, but the last times I've tried the slushes were amazing!!

Passionfruit green tea

I always like stopping here when I am in chinatown for a refreshing drink. There are so many flavors it's hard to choose. I like the lychee and passionfruit flavors and taro is always a classic. I would like to try their matcha sometime as well. I usually dont get boba because they're so filling. They did however mess up my friends order - gave her lychee punch instead of lychee black tea. For being the only people in there it seems hard to mess up an order.

Kiwi- Apple- kale with bubbles!

I love this place !!! Everytime my boss send me to Manhattan to work I am happy just thinking I am gonna buy one bubble tea ! LOL The lines are always long!!! And the place is extremely small ! Extremely uncomfortable for more than 4 people! If 5 people are inside , you can't not move!!! They accept cards but they have minimum! 10 dollars!!!! This is always a problem for me because I don't usually have cash with me. So is better to have cash if you come to this place ! My favorite!!! Kiwi apple Kale Slush!!! - 10 of 10!!! So refreshing for this weather ! And ofc with bubbles!!! Caribbean Brezee - 3 of 5! Taste good, not amazing ! If you like citrus this one is for you ! Strawberry lemonade is always a good choice! No bathrooms!!! Remember!! Everything with bubbles taste better!! LOL This place is great !!!love it !!

Taro milk tea and honey oolong milk tea

After quarantine, the location is finally open for takeout. Really clean store, and they take all precautions. I ordered taro milk tea and honey oolong. It was my first time having honey oolong, but it was a beautiful jasmine like flavor. Will be back! They do a solid job.

OREO SLUSH w/ jelly TARO MILK/ MILK GREEN TEA
Luke W.

My friend and I came here because he was craving a drink. Upon arrival, he ordered an Oreo slushee and attempted to pay with a debit card. The cashier quickly said 10 dollar minimum so my friend offered to also buy me a drink Initially I was unsure what I wanted but I decided upon the hot taro milk green tea. When the cashier asked me what topping I wanted I was unsure as well, but my friend suggested the jelly. I gave it some thought, but decided to get bubbles instead. When we received our drinks I opened my cup to see if they had put my desired topping because I felt that my friend's suggestion may have threw off the employee. Turns out it did and the employee put jelly instead of bubbles... I told the cashier that he gave me the wrong topping and I wanted bubbles, not jelly. He was rude about it and told me to pay 50 cents to add bubbles to my drink. I told him that I didn't want jelly at all, and he asserted that I said I ordered it as the topping. When I finally clarified with him that my drink was suppose to have bubbles, he replaced my drink for me. I understand that I should've clarified with the employee after placing my order but he was unnecessarily rude. So how'd it taste? The drink was meh. It was not warm enough. The drink tasted too milky and was too sweet for my liking. Overall I feel like this was a crappy visit and the taste of my drink did not help. I get that after a long day of work, you don't want to put up with complaints, but there's no need to be rude. Sorry that I'm complaining, but I just want to vent a little and share my experience Takeaways: -10 dollar card minimum -be prepared before ordering -write reviews to share you experiences (Helps you remember to be polite) p.s. For some reason a large chunk of my review didn't save and I lost it all. Feels bad. But basically I'm not trying to be mean, just wanted to share my experience and vent a little.

I have a big thumb too. Oh wait that's not my thumb.

It's been 10 minutes, and I'm DUE For another drink from Kung FU So now I'm going to rap for YOU And if it really sucks, just BOO So if you and your bf are THROUGH And you need something (someone) to DO Let me show you how my legend "GREW" And all my urban myths are TRUE Be glad your sister never KNEW What we did, or she'd want me TOO So do me like they do the DEW And I'll stick atop you like GLUE There is no taming of this SHREW I'll be the driver, you the SCREW You the river, me CANOE Or you can be Barbie's sexy SHOE Me Roger Daltrey, you the WHO You Chinatown Houston, me LOU Me dictator, you my COUP You Nepal, me KATHMANDU You 80s radio, me CUTTING CREW You a doctor's office, me the FLU You the Synagogue, me the JEW You the toilet, me the POO Wait, what Anyway Those boys will have to join the QUEUE And wait until I'm done with YOU You'll bounce like a KANGAROO Cause we're lovers, not fighters like FOO And when we're done (in a day or TWO) After I've made your kitty MEW And after I've finally WITHDREW Then it's time to go to Kung FU! WHAT If you come in here drunk, they might re-Fu to serve you. That would be your loss. This is a really nice Kung Fu Tea in Chinatown which I like a lot. The employees are really nice and it was incredibly busy. Part of the reason why it was so busy is that it was the Festival of San Gennaro - but then again there's always something going on in Manhattan so this might just be a really busy location. There really isn't anywhere to sit and sometimes the wait times are long and the staff can get flustered - but they are really nice and so are the customers. The product tastes excellent, especially my beloved lemon black tea. I hope they are still making it even though corporate has cut it from the menu of all KFT locations because corporate has pleasing-Fox-E issues. At this location, they also sell a bunch of cool little trinkets as you can see in the pictures. All in all this is an excellent location and I will be back again. Five stars all the way.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
