They should have refused him enrollment when I told them he was autistic. In their eagerness they provided a disservice. The major issue that I did have with them is that one teacher spoke in ebonics and wrote assignments using ebonics. I have no problem with teachers speaking ebonics outside of classroom, but inside it should be Standard American English. I only learned this because of Covid online learning. I was shocked at how the teacher could be certified in first place and secondly that administrators did not weed her out.

Children range from birth to 5 years old. At the arc children get speech, occupational, physical and sensory therapy and all for FREE. If you need additional hours yes you will need to pay. But, let me tell you that if you have a child that has developmental delays this is the best place to put them in. Not only are the getting therapy but, they are socializing with other kids and they have great teachers that give the children lots of attention and love. Also, everyday the child comes home with a report as to how the child was in the day, did he or she eat, sleep and did they get therapy. I also, love this school because, its open door policy and if in the middle of the day you want to go see your child then you can with out a problem. Truly i love this school and its been the best choice I've made for my son's needs.

It's so rewarding to hear from other parents and family members how advanced our children are, and I always give credit to the strong foundation they received here, now keep in mind this is a two way street because it's still work that has to be done at home and not just at the school.
