A boutique locally sourced, art gallery, and community action venue platform…read more Now this is a local event studio where they artists come in and have art exhibits. The one under way is called: "American Cathedral," done by Thomas Worthham Rallis. The next event upcoming for October of 2026 will be called: "Manifesto," all hand drawn by Julio Cesar. These art exhibitions are open to the public and change every month. You can purchase the art in the gallery. When the artist decides to put their art work in this gallery you they have an opening night. Again these change often. The art exhibit is free to the public. They are all Louisville local artists. They have a store that sells all sorts of artifacts that have been made from an artisans own hands. The detail that makes these projects come to life. Looking to see something legendary! Looking for something unique! Take some time and enjoy the journey that someone has made for you! The customer service here is good. It's a gallery for lots of individuals come and visit. The store associates perhaps seem more interested in welcoming visitors. You can purchase items for sale here! The value is high but it's all one of a kind. They take cash and credit for payment. A piece of art is the highest form of greatness it highlights the individuality of us all. Then you display it and it becomes your creative expression and expression. The transfer of hope and joy from one to another.

You could easily spend an hour looking at all of the art in here so definitely check it out.

Mahonia Studio: My Plant's Real Parent…read more Let's be honest--I am not the plant parent my leafy children deserve. I try, I really do, but sometimes they tip over, take a tumble, or just look at me like, "Why did you choose this life for me?" Enter Mahonia Studio, the plant hospital / plant therapist / plant whisperer I never knew I needed. They have saved multiple of my plants from what can only be described as near-death experiences caused entirely by my own clumsiness. (Seriously, if my plants could talk, they'd be calling Mahonia for custody arrangements.) Beyond their life-saving skills, the shop itself?? Absolute paradise. It's like stepping into a lush, magical greenhouse where every plant is thriving (unlike the ones at my house before Mahonia intervened). Their selection is chefs kiss--from easy-to-care-for plants to "You better know what you're doing" statement pieces--plus all the cute pots and accessories to make me look like a responsible plant parent. And the staff?? Literal angels. Not only do they help me pick plants that fit my chaotic lifestyle, but they also give the best care advice, zero judgment included. Just good vibes, good plants, and people who actually want your leafy friends to live their best life. Final thoughts: Mahonia Studio isn't just a plant shop--it's a plant rescue mission. If you're clumsy, clueless, or just obsessed with greenery, this is the place.

Nice space filled with tons of balloon choices, stuffed animals, Graeter's ice cream, lots of fudge choices, and specialty truffles, bonbons, etc... I am not a fan of chocolate, etc, but I could appreciate the detail, presentation and most certainly the taste these beauties contained. I got a delicious and refreshing raspberry sorbet, and my husband got the bourbon ball (?) ice cream, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Both employees were friendly and helpful while we made our choices. We ate them at their table outside. From the other reviews I read after we went there, they seem like a fantastic small business, so patronize them!

Great service and a nice break from the heat. Fun to check out. Would I go back? Sure, if I am in the area.

This is such a lovely store! I visited with my mother-in-law, who considers European Splendor…read moreprobably her favorite store in Louisville. And I can see why. ES has so many delightful home products to look at, including pillows, linens, art, furniture, glassware, pottery, books and more. Lavender also seems to be a favorite of the owners. You can find linens especially with lavender on them as well as sweet smelling lavender sachets. The prices range. Yes there are some expensive pieces, but the quality seems consistent with the price. One item I keep thinking about are their line of leather aprons. The staff was very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back and shopping there more soon too.

The store is aptly named, as it is splendid and immediately had aspects that reminded me of Europe. After crossing through the threshold, I immediately smelled lavender -- good lavender. There are few things that I am picky about, but after spending a summer in the south of France in college (where the scent of lavender literally wafts down the street from the open air market), I am something of a lavender snob. This is the good stuff! The store is delightful, and feels homey in a sophisticated way. There is a huge variety of merchandise, from furniture to decor to hand painted pottery. I passed on the item that caught my eye as I am looking for something just a little different, but I didn't leave without buying something lavender-scented. For your own splendid piece of Europe here in Louisville, stop by European Splendor today and discover a new favorite place -- I know that I did!
