Dr. Deljoui seems like a competent, efficient and smart endodontist. I'd never seen an endodontist…read morebefore, but I was referred by my dentist. Deljoui was able to image me and then do the root canal the same day, which is hard to find sometimes. I'd heard root canals take like 45 minutes but I was in and out of the chair in less than 20 minutes (I timed it, because I was listening to a podcast while it was going on, and less than 20 minutes elapsed in the podcast). Despite the bad reputation root canals have, the root canal wasn't a particularly scary procedure--very similar to a normal cavity fill in terms of time. Less drilling probably, but more random tools going in and out. I was numb so I just kind of sat there and observed. I was impressed how fast and efficient he and the hygienist were. No pain. I don't think he has the best bedside manner, i.e. he's not particularly chatty, but he's also not gruff or anything like that. He has an aura of competency I appreciated. I would go back to him if I needed another root canal someday. As an aside I got a lot of quotes from different endodonists and his clinic was also cheaper by about $200 (compared to others who took Delta Dental). The other clinics charged more for the imaging component of the exam.

Absolute horrible experience at Santa Cruz endodontics. I was having an emergency because I was in…read moresevere pain for the last 3 days with no way to get any help, after calling Santa Cruz endodontics when my referral was sent over they said they were sorry I was in pain but they would not be able to get me in for 2 weeks! I then had to take myself to the hospital in order to get some pain medication that's how bad the pain was. That hospital bill cost me $500, typically a dentist should be able to prescribe something for pain I believe that if I would have found a good dentist he or she would have been able to prescribe me something to hold me over until our appointment! 2 weeks later I had my appointment and when I walked in they started doing x-rays.. the same x-rays that were done from my referring dentist. And after the x-rays the dentist came over and told me I had to get two root canals because he could not tell which tooth was the one causing me pain! At that point I was really concerned as he supposed to be a professional and I felt under the gun where I had to make a decision of which tooth for him to work on as I'm not made of money and I didn't have $4,000 to just hand over. The dentist was adamant about one of my tooths with a cavity causing me the pain which I completely disagreed with, I mentioned to him that I believe it is another tooth causing the pain and I would like him to work on the tooth I believe to be the problem. The dentist mentioned it would be $900 out of pocket and the remainder $1,000 my insurance would pay for and he mentioned I can do two separate payments of $450 and then I would be paid for only to receive a bill two weeks later for $705. Not only was the dentistry charging me more than what was agreed upon but they were also charging me for the X-ray that the dentist was unable to determine which tooth was causing me pain! Dentist go to school for years and charge thousands of dollars and I believe it is very unprofessional for him to have made me choose which tooth of mine was the one I wanted him to work on and also charge me for the x-ray which didn't even tell him which tooth was damaged. I also mentioned to the receptionist that I felt like I shouldn't have to pay for the x-ray since the dentist couldn't tell me which tooth was causing me pain and got nowhere. I ended up just telling the receptionist I'll pay the whole bill but I am never coming back because that's not how business should work. I would warn anyone thinking of going to Santa Cruz endodontics to think twice about your options because they were definitely not helpful.

He is the best endodontist of all time, in all the world! I've been begging health professionals to…read moresing to me during procedures my whole life. Finally!!! It's like a personal concert while receiving the best care in the most amazing tranquil setting with beautiful artwork all around. The doctor and his staff are just incredible! I think he's maybe the fourth endodontist to work on one of my teeth. He fixed all the problems the other guys missed. I had two root canals done by him to fix work that others had done poorly. He's incredibly thorough. The treatment is done in 2 sessions and antibiotics were prescribed in my case. I feel very lucky to live within an hour's drive. I would drive 8 hours to see Dr. Jimenez. Oh, and I almost forgot that he is a magician with a needle - the shots don't hurt. I always ask for extra time and extra shots in the beginning and he was very accommodating and understanding. Thank you! Thank you!

He has perfected painless injections. I was waiting for him to numb me when he told me he would be back when I was numb as I had already been injected. The waiting room always has people who have travelled from out of county to see him as he is known as giving "pain free root canals". Anyone who has a fear of dentists or a low pain threshold should try Dr. Jimenez. He is such a kind human and he will sing as he is saving your teeth. He also gets sent patients that others could not help. The most AMAZING endodontist! AND he sings (off key sometimes)

I cannot say enough good things about this place. For my whole life I've gone to dentists filled…read morewith trepidation. It was always a less than pleasant experience and I had come to accept that all dentists were this way. When I moved, I had to find a new dentist and decided to give Seabright Dental Studio a try. As soon as I arrived I could see, if not feel, the difference. Their office is a bright and welcoming place. The desk staff is very pleasant and helpful. When I was finally in the dental chair, I was still nervous but Dr. Thompson and her staff put me completely at ease. When they began offering me treatment they were always conscious of how I was feeling and addressing any of my concerns. Everything went perfectly and the consideration that I was shown was above an beyond any other visit that I've had. I did not know that a dental experience could be like this. But now I know it should be and am so thankful to Dr. Thompson and her staff for showing me. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to.

I was a patient at Seabright Dental for about five years and had many positive experiences there…read more The staff were generally kind, I felt well cared for clinically, and I especially appreciated how personable and gentle my hygienist was. Unfortunately, I decided to leave the practice after receiving an unexpected $164 bill for a March 2026 preventive visit. My routine dental care had historically been covered through Delta Dental. After receiving the bill, I contacted Delta Dental and learned the claim had processed as out-of-network due to the office's change in Delta Dental network participation/billing status. The office explained that they had mailed notice months earlier and later sent a postcard saying Delta Dental was still accepted/covered, but I did not understand before my appointment that the office was now out-of-network with my plan or that I could owe a significant balance for preventive care. I asked for the balance to be waived or further adjusted due to the unexpected nature of the bill and current financial hardship. The office declined, though they did offer a three-month payment arrangement. I appreciate the care I received over the years and the payment arrangement, but I was disappointed by the lack of clear point-of-service communication before receiving care. For patients with Delta Dental or any insurance plan, I would strongly recommend confirming in writing before your appointment whether the office is in-network with your specific plan and what your estimated out-of-pocket cost will be.

Today was my first consultation with Dr. Timothy Gifford, periodontist. I barely slept I was so…read moreanxious. I'm so glad I found this practice! After a comprehensive exam, Dr. Gifford spent time providing me four incrementally more aggressive treatment options. I have never in my life had a dentist spend so much time with me. I have confidence we will find a workable plan to treat and/or mitigate further disease. Bonus: The staff is really fun and the office is cheery and comfortable. 10 stars! Thank you!

I used to love and swear by this dentist until I learned the truth. When I had to change insurance…read moreand get a new dentist, they were flabbergasted by how shoddy their work is. The nightguard that Dr. Kaur gave me had been so improper that it was damaging my teeth and causing the front teeth to chip and crack. I was actually asked if I had gotten this nightguard from a different country, that's how slapdash it was. When I came in to ask for a refund to at least get some kind of moral mea culpa from them (this nightguard costs $735ish before insurance, according to the receptionist, but replacing a tooth is easily ten times that much, so it would be a drop in the ocean compared to the damage done to my mouth) I kept getting the runaround about things being "subjective". Then when I wasn't dissuaded I got an appointment with the doctor to talk it over, which I assumed would just be them trying to convince me my new dentist is a con artist, doesn't know anything, etc. And lo and behold, no surprise that's exactly what the appointment was about. No refunds, and that I should consider myself lucky my mouth guard even lasted this long. Now instead of things being "subjective" it was preposterous and no dentist in their right mind would say such a thing. Yeah, I'm sure my board-certified TMJ specialist was just making it up, while the dentist who made the device in question has no room for doubt. I mean I'm pretty sure they even made sure to CYOA by asking to take a look at my mouthguard so they could do an official "reply from the owner" here with something like "Actually when you came in we proved your teeth were already broken and we didn't do anything wrong-" and try to make other people reading this think I'm not being accurate. They tried to say my current dentist must be a scammer for charging around $1100 for an occlusal guard and that must be why. But I called around town and most dentists are in the 1000 dollar ballpark for guards. The only ones who quoted me lower than 900 were quick and clear to point out "that's just a base price, we increase it if it's more complex, and it'll probably involve exams too". Oh and if that wasn't enough, Dr. Kaur insisted the receptionist had just been mistaken and that actually it was only $300, and that I should be counting myself lucky to have gotten such a good deal - as if I care about saving money when it means breaking my teeth. While this is mostly what I'm pissed off about today, in the last few years I got the same fillings done on my teeth again and again from these people, while the filling I got ages ago from my paleolithic-era dentist in Mountain View is still holding strong. So I'll ask again who the real scammer is. And just as a funny aside, while I was waiting in the office, there was a guy at the front desk who showed up for his appointment, only to find out it had been canceled, despite having confirmed it. It turns out that the front desk just relies entirely on the automated system with no verification, had somehow sent another confirmation to the wrong number, and canceled his appointment. Obviously this doesn't impact my own experience, but it does make one question why there are so many screwups in one office. In one day. At the same hour.
