The instructors are patient, and keep the sessions fun, but also manage to stay firm at the same time. In addition to being wonderful with the kids, they even remember each child's names --even after only seeing them once, which is quite impressive based on the amount of kids they have. The classes are a great size (our son is in the beginners class [he's 5]), which contains only about 5-6 kids per session. I highly recommend this place. Kicks, punches, conditioning and the like with patient, upbeat instruction. They hosted a handful of yelpers for this class and we all got a hell of a workout in DHMA's clean, spacious studio. The gym offers a cardio combat class, Kali, JKD, a martial arts system created by Bruce Lee, as well as an MMA class.
