Just updating my review: It's been 2 years and 4 months since our daughter was born and Dr. B has been with us phenomenally every step of the way--including through diagnosing our girl with autism. She pushed to make sure we got the referrals we needed and kept herself involved so we had support along the way. We love her so much that we didn't even blink when she opened her own private practice, because even paying a fee out of pocket every month is completely worth it for the level of skill, attention, and care our daughter receives. My kiddo took a header out of the door of our car the other than and landed straight on her face, giving herself an instant goose egg and a scraped face. I was so panicked because, um, first time mom and first time bad injury, and so I immediately called Dr. B. Although I got her answering machine, she called back literally in 1 minute and calmly talked me through it (my kiddo is fine now). Whenever I message her, I know I'll get a prompt response and not wait days. She also checks in frequently to see how your child is doing. She provides a level of care that is unmatched and invaluable. Our kids are our most precious things in this world. Making sure they're healthy and happy and safe is paramount above all else and with Dr. B, you know your family is in great hands. 20/10 would recommend. read more

Dr. Balduzzi is literally one of the best physicians I have had the chance to work with as a medical student! I had the opportunity to work with her during the month of February and I got to see the wide variety of patients she encounters on a daily basis. First and foremost, she loves every single one of her patients and their families! She truly does care for their well-being deeply. I saw this through her constant availability for her patients whether it is through online messaging, fitting in patients into her very jammed schedule, her online outreach through her social media presence, and everything else she does. She provides all these resources to enable her patients to have both healthy and happy lives. She always comes in with a cheerful attitude every single day and will greet all her patients with a smile. She weaves scientific evidence into a practical understanding seamlessly. She emphasizes working together with the families so that everyone is on board with the health plan for the children. Most importantly, she delivers a consistent level of care for every single patient as well as follows guidelines so that she knows she is giving everyone the care that they deserve. She has a lot of experience under her belt, with her training and years of practice, and has seen the both the good times and the difficult times that families have been through. She uses all this experience in order to provide the best advice that she has seen time and time again to be the most effective for all families. I reached out to Dr. Balduzzi for help with sleep training my 15 month old girl. I had tried one type of sleep training before, but it only seemed to make things worse. After a year and a half of my baby waking up every 2-3 hours, I was one very tired mama. Dr. Balduzzi asked many questions regarding my baby's sleep patterns and about her overall health. She was able to design the perfect type of sleep training for my baby. She guided me through everything from bedroom set up, which sound machine to use, the time to start bedtime and the bedtime routine leading up to putting her to sleep. By the third night she was sleeping 11 hours a night!!!! My baby now looks forward to bedtime. I actually have to say the bedtime prayers quickly because once she sees the crib, she reaches for it and wants to be put down. I cannot thank Dr Balduzzi enough. I highly recommend her!! read more

Dr Balduzzi and the entire Sutter Gould Pediatrics staff are amazing! She is a God send for us as fist time parents away from all our family. She takes the time to connect with us as parents as well as our newborn baby. Doctor B is so great! She's been my babies pediatrician since birth. She takes her time to get to know my baby and me. Being a parent brings so much stress and worry so it's nice to have Doctor Balduzzi an email or phone call away. Get thee to Dr B! Finding her was almost happenstance, I set up meet the doctor appointments with the other doctors in the office. First-time-mom and all, I wanted to do all the research before making a decision. The day I had my meet the doctor appointment scheduled I went into labor. So I just went with it, and she is so amazing! My daughter had had THE Worst diaper rash, no really we are talking 3 months. And Dr B has been so kind, helpful, and responsive. I've sent so many messages to her and she always responds within the day, often within the hour. She's down to earth, and never makes me feel rediculous for asking the plethora of questions that come with being a new mom. If they had 10 stars she deserves them all! read more

I love Dr. Balduzzi! Unfortunately we had to move to SoCal so I had to change my daughter's pediatrician. But every time we went to see Dr. Balduzzi, she would always be energetic and happy to see us. She always took the time to speak to me about what my daughter (1 year old now) should be capable of doing, what's normal or what isn't, and if I had any concerns that she could help with. She's never made me feel that she was in a rush to see her other patients. From all the pediatricians my daughter has been to, there's no one that could top Dr. Balduzzi's care. read more

My daughter turns 1 in a couple days which means this review is about 350 days past due...Dr. Balduzzi has been on a roller coaster with me as a new mom. We had some curve balls with a brand new baby - I could write for days about the impact she has had but it can be summed up by a few examples. You have a phenomenal pediatrician when she calls emergency rooms back while you are still there to lend guidance. You have a phenomenal pediatrician when she calls you on your cell phone from her cell phone late at night with her kids in the background to talk mom to mom about scary fevers or new drugs you're giving a tiny baby. When you keep showing up with the same whacky concerns- she calms you, humors you, talks it out, researches with you- and eventually advocates to be safe and certain. Thankfully she was my partner through some scary times and trusted not only her gut but mine and she ran the right tests at the right time which put us on course! She then fought to get me into the best surgeon in the area and battled the scheduling office as if it was her own baby. She always "got it". There are times when she knows it is okay to worry and times when she is quick to calm me and set me straight. From messaging me on CHRISTMAS EVE to a recent rash/fever scare last week on a Sunday- she has never left me hanging. I've definitely been scared a lot but never felt alone. She is funny, she is amazing with the kids, she is appreciative of her staff, she is teaching others, she is always sharing cutting edge info. In a nutshell I know we got the doctor we were meant to have. I worry about my kids health- I worry about what may come of her situation- I worry about when she will give us more scares...but I NEVER worry that I can't say what I need, can't ask questions, can't reach my doctor. I don't worry we will "miss something" and I don't worry that we could be doing anything better or differently. I don't worry that she will judge me or laugh me out of her office. She is a gem and a friend and a smart cookie. We are lucky to have her and we have about 17 years to convince her to go into general practice to remain Riley's doctor forever. :) No doubt she's the one to choose. read more

I need to give more stars! Back in 2016 I was about to give birth to our first born and was nervous about selecting a Pediatrician. It was overwhelming, until my sister recommended I See Dr. Balduzzi. We made our selection when completing the paperwork and never regretted it one bit. As new parents it's overwhelming to bring a new baby home. Books can only help parents prepare so much and google, well that's as bad as webmd at any time of the day. Having an amazing pediatrician helped so much with that first year! From our first meeting and visit in postpartum to every appointment thereafter was nothing short of excellent. We were able to get same day appointments, around the clock care from on call or messaging through the portal, and helpful tips From social media! I love that Dr. B answers her own messages too; any hour of any day! We now live in San Diego which upsets me because our level of care is different. We didn't meet our new pediatrician at the hospital and i don't even think our daughter has seen the same one since our move. We just welcomed our second daughter and I wish that we had access to Dr. Balduzzi again! Anyone looking, I definitely recommend! Dr. Balduzzi is amazing. My son loves her, my husband and I love her. She knows her stuff and she's not afraid to give her opinion. But she also doesn't make you feel like a "bad parent" if you don't follow her advice. She also organizing community events for kids and families. Dr. Krystle Balduzzi is one of a kind! She truly cares about her patients as if they were her own children. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her patients are healthy, well taken care of, and ensures us parents have a way to reach her at all times (which really puts my mind at ease) I trust her whole heartedly especially since no matter the time, weekend, weekday, she has always promptly responded to any of my questions or concerns. It can be scary and overwhelming to be a first time parent but she definitely makes it easier and always makes me feel supported. I love her honesty and her ability to immediately make me feel more calm when my daughter is sick. I feel so lucky to know that she cares about my daughter personally.
