I had…read morecalled the Vaughan location first to book but the closest appointment they had 3 weeks later, and frankly, the receptionist seemed a bit Curt and unfriendly over the phone.. sooo I decided to try centre st. The man who answered the phone was almost the mirror opposite of the girl who answered in Vaughan. Literally the most genial person I have spoken with over the phone since I can remember. He booked the appointment for me within a weeks time with no hassle or attitude. And even asked me at the end of our conversation whether I had any questions for him and that he wanted to address any concerns I had. I was a little taken back. What a sincere approach to customer service! I felt he really broke the mold and quite honestly made me insta-loyal to them although I've never used the service before. When I went to the appointment the office was mostly empty, but not a minute later, a nice neat line began piling up behind me, like a stack of dominoes; I guess quality and congeniality breed loyalty. The lady told me it would take an hour and they were pretty accurate with that estimate as they called me almost right after an hour. The lady was courteous and professional as she handed me back my keys with a smile. If the rust proofing is as good as it's genuine service, I will definitely return come future winters.

The price is the same you'd pay at any Krown location, and the shop is some 1950's looking place in an industrial sector. What sets this location apart is that they are NOT cheap on the product. Heck, there was so much goo applied to my truck I thought they took a crane and just dropped the sucker into an industrial sized vat of the stuff. Needless to say that all the road salt has a sad face on, it can't do squat to my truck's sheet metal so she looks brand new for yet another year (at 13 years of age)!

Person managing the back was Ashton. He explained their whole process while they were working on my car, and they definitely did NOT cut corners. They did a great job and made sure my car was well protected in all areas. They showed me exactly where they drilled the holes to get to the critical areas to protect and for those who are worried about the drilling it is no problem. I had my doubts at first about the drilling but the holes are treated and plugged. After seeing it, I am not worried at all. Overall great family owned business, awesome customer service, and I will definitely be coming back in the future. I definitely trust this place and it's rust proofing methods. Ashton and his family are great people to deal with and I definitely recommend them.

I spent close to $2000 with Modern Automotive Technology for a problem with my 2020 Honda Civic…read morethat was never repaired by them. Dealing with Modern Automotive Technology on Confederation Pkwy in Concord, Ontario (owned by Maxim "Max" Voloshin) has been one of my worst experiences. When I went there I told them that the problem was probably the radar unit because another mechanic had told me that. The initial problem was that multiple warnings were constantly being displayed on my dash. They tried to repair the problem without replacing the radar unit and charged me hundreds of dollars. It worked for two days. I brought it back a second time and at that point they said I needed a new radar unit. I decided to go ahead with that. After spending another few hundred dollars the problem was still not fixed. At that point they told me the windshield had to be replaced because there is a camera in the windshield. I did not trust them to continue working on my car so I had the windshield changed with another company. The problem still was not solved, so they were wrong about changing the windshield. I finally brought it to Markham Honda and they said the radar unit was not installed properly, was damaged and would have to be replaced again a second time. They also said the harness was damaged by the previous shop (Modern Automotive). It is working now but they said the damage to the harness might need to be repaired in the future which would cost $5800.

Waiting area had coffee, tea, wifi, magazines to read and a heater to keep warm when it gets cold. Got my 2008 Civic detailed for $150 (Silver Pakcage). I had minor pet hairs so that was an additional $20 (Ancil said pet hairs are normally $40). Frankly I didn't think there was much pet hairs to warrant an additional fee. I don't even own a dog nor has a dog ever been in my car. After 4hours the car was ready. He gave me a call and when I arrived to pick up, everything was perfect. The car was impeccable. I swear it's never been this clean. Probably nicer than getting a new car. I swear I was ready to take be beat up '08 Civic to the auto show. I would recommend this shop for your detailing services. I called Mark's Auto service to see if they worked on classics, I spoke to Mark himself and…read morementioned that I had an oil leak, and that I was aware that these classics were noted for leaks, I stated that I was aware that the valve covers and oil pan were sweating, but did not know if the front crank seal was leaking or not. He set up an appointment for 9:30 on a Wed. morning, I was there right on time, not sure why he requested I bring it in that day as it sat there all day and they did not look at it until the following morning. Mark called me the next morning and asked if I would like to come down and see it while it was on the hoist. I went down and he told me exactly what I had already told him ( that the valve covers and oil pan had a very slow leak) he did tell me that the front crank seal was not leaking and said that I could drive it like that and bring it in later if I chose to have the gaskets replaced. I decided to wait until the fall. They presented me with a bill for 175.00 just to look at the vehicle, another 4.38 enviromental fee ( do not know how they came up with an enviromental fee to look at a vehicle) plus the tax which was grand total of 202.13 just to look at the vehicle in order to provide me with a quote to repair the leaks. I have several classics and have never in all of my life been charged to look at any of my vehicles to quote on a repair, I said to Mark that I could possibly understand a small charge to look at it but this was rediculous, his response was that is what it cost and he walked into another room leaving me with no alternative but to pay this rediculous bill. It is far less expensive to take your vehicle to a dealer than it is to this place, I will not be taking it back there to have the gaskets replaced and strongly suggest that if you require any repairs on your vehicle that you take your vehicle to another shop where you will be treated fairly !!!!
