Happy #ServiceStarShoutOut Day! My shout out is going to my local car wash spot…read more If you enjoy touch free auto car washes, Denny's is your place. They have 2 locations, but for convenience to me I prefer the Oakville spot. It's a modern, clean building. There isn't much of a seated waiting area (pre-covid but especially now), so you have to stand while your car is getting washed or you can sit outside on the curb and wait. There are different levels of washes to choose from. Honestly, I don't get the 5 star as it's just too much for my car, but the basic wash is a) affordable and b) does the job I'm usually looking for. Inside where you pay there are a variety of air fresheners and beverages to purchase. The staff isn't always the most chatty - but they are quick and with a constant line, there is likely no time for chitchat. If it's a sunny day I can guarantee there will be a lineup so pack your coffee and plan on waiting!

Hello, My name is…read moreSteve Dhaliwal @ 905-510-1502 (oi_roi@live.ca is email) I came in at 2:09:27pm today to have the 5-Star Treatment for my BMW 5. I picked up this time spot from my $67.79 receipt today. The interior of the SUV was poorly cleaned, with little attention to detail. I drove off assuming it had been cleaned properly. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I reached my destination in Burlington for shopping, I dropped my keys in between the seats. When I bent down to look underneath the seats, I discovered that these had not been cleaned at all. There were bits & pieces of garbage and other items that should have been vacuumed properly. Orange peels, and other debris. I live in Oakville about 20 mins away from Denny's Oakville, so it would be a 40 min run and waiting time for me to come-back to show you. It is a waste of time for me to comeback and forth from home. My home address is: 1103 Oakery Woods Place, Oakville, ON L6M-2C2 I would appreciate a free 5 Star service be mailed out to me so I can use it in future months. This is only fair, given that our family has 4 vehicles and we have been loyal customers for many years, as long term Oakville residents. Or please email me a free 5-star coupon, to oi_roi@live.ca. My license plate is ROI X5 BMW X5, you can see on your cameras. I will take pics of the mess under the seats, for my records. Cheers, Steve Cell (905) 510-1502

I called Mark's Auto service to see if they worked on classics, I spoke to Mark himself and…read morementioned that I had an oil leak, and that I was aware that these classics were noted for leaks, I stated that I was aware that the valve covers and oil pan were sweating, but did not know if the front crank seal was leaking or not. He set up an appointment for 9:30 on a Wed. morning, I was there right on time, not sure why he requested I bring it in that day as it sat there all day and they did not look at it until the following morning. Mark called me the next morning and asked if I would like to come down and see it while it was on the hoist. I went down and he told me exactly what I had already told him ( that the valve covers and oil pan had a very slow leak) he did tell me that the front crank seal was not leaking and said that I could drive it like that and bring it in later if I chose to have the gaskets replaced. I decided to wait until the fall. They presented me with a bill for 175.00 just to look at the vehicle, another 4.38 enviromental fee ( do not know how they came up with an enviromental fee to look at a vehicle) plus the tax which was grand total of 202.13 just to look at the vehicle in order to provide me with a quote to repair the leaks. I have several classics and have never in all of my life been charged to look at any of my vehicles to quote on a repair, I said to Mark that I could possibly understand a small charge to look at it but this was rediculous, his response was that is what it cost and he walked into another room leaving me with no alternative but to pay this rediculous bill. It is far less expensive to take your vehicle to a dealer than it is to this place, I will not be taking it back there to have the gaskets replaced and strongly suggest that if you require any repairs on your vehicle that you take your vehicle to another shop where you will be treated fairly !!!!
