I usually go to their store in Coconut Creek at the Promenade, but we were nearby, and I decided to see if they had any different stock here. Just a note: If the guys in your family are coming here and looking for shoes, as well, it seems that there are less and less men's shoes here -- in both stores -- as the men's sections is getting smaller and smaller. I did the usual tour of all the aisles and also the clearance racks. I'm on their loyalty program from the time the warehouses opened in Florida and for the last couple years, I haven't really been able to take advantage of most of their sales or discounts. It is strange to WANT to give them money, but there's nothing that appeals or fits. Either they don't have my size in something I like, or they don't have what I like at all. In any case, I had previously purchased a pair of flats at another DSW and was hoping to buy another one just like it. The brand is their own, but they had no sandals like this at all in this store. I even went online afterwards -- following a staffer's suggestion -- but they don't have them there either. I'll keep trying now and then as I know their stock changes; However, soon they will be having most of their fall closed shoes for sale -- which here in Florida we don't need as much.

There were so many people there with their dogs that it was hard to walk up and down an aisle with the woman trying on shoes and her big golden retriever laying next to her, another aisle a lady had a little Ankle biter sized dog and had it on one of those retractable leashes and the dog was about 10 feet away from her. None of these dogs were service dogs. I wound up buying two pairs of ankle socks. When I said something to the woman at the counter about size 11 used to have stickers she said they're still supposed to. I wanted a strap type of step in heel with a low heel, something casual, every day, type of heel, but they didn't have any that I could find either in my size. Maybe because it's a chain and it's winter they did have a lot of boots. I was able to find shoes that I was looking for online but I have to buy three or four pair to try them on and then send them back which is time-consuming. Prices of their shoes are as good as they used to be either. Used to be able to get good discounts and deals but I didn't notice any of that in the store or online

Went with our friends after a nice Sunday brunch. It was sort of organized, in sections, but not exactly. Socks were in multiple places and the shoe section had shoes in the wrong box or just one shoe not a pair. I wanted to find a pair of HOKAs, which I did. I also got a cute pair of flamingo socks for my dad and another pair of SmartWool hiking socks that were marked $22 but rang up at $6. Nice! Definitely ask for the prices at check out. They had discounts on top of discounts, so a few of the SPF shirts that we bought were heavily discounted and a few we left at the store. Still, Going, Going, Gone is a nice place to hunt for a bargain in South Florida.
