    Expired milk on the shelves.

This location is constantly stocking the shelves with expired products. 5 days ago, I picked up Horizon strawberry milk. I didn't think to check the expiration date because I assumed their employees do not stock the shelves with expired food- wrong. The expired milk had been on the shelf a month past its expiration date. Today, I placed a pickup order because I thought I'd have a better chance at getting milk that was not expired if an employee picked out my order. Again, I was sold more expired milk- also expired on 10/17/25. On 10/17/25, I was sold milk that expired on 9/14/25.

So I bought a few of these 1-4-2025. 2 bags have expiration dates of 12-8-23 and 2 have 9-21-24. 13 months expired!?

Union Kroger needs to check expiration dates! I'm sure lots of people are buying items that are not good for consumption. 13 months expired id ridiculous. No excuse for this! I know its a consumer responsibility to check dates but what about the age of the meat, seafood?

I don't work at Kroger, but feel they owe me a paycheck for the many hours I've spent ringing up and bagging my own groceries. They close at 11:00 PM but I was just there Friday night and needed to check out a full cart at 9:58 PM and they had no registers open except for self-checkout! See the picture with time stamp. This happens often. I saw a ton of employees in the aisles restocking items. Why don't they have 1 or 2 working the registers? They have multiple employees by the self checkout who just stand and watch customers checkout their own groceries! It's so frustrating.

Great place to shop- clean, not so crowded, nice and friendly staff. The shelves seems to be fully stocked, and I have no problem finding everything on my list.

They close the doors to half of the store 2 1/2 to 3 hours before they close which is just a big sign of laziness.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

The farmers market is open seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm, though there are more vendors on the weekends than throughout the week. For less than ten bucks, you can walk away with huge bag of green beans, fresh corn, Roma tomatoes, eggplant, and green peppers. Speaking of peppers, I've never seen so many varieties. This place even beats Jungle Jim's as far as pepper species go. Habanero, jalepeno, and banana as well as sweet peppers in every color of the rainbow, all can be bought here. Heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, and eggplant are also available in varieties that aren't sold in most grocery stores. In addition to the fresh fruit and produce, a number of specialty vendors sell homemade pies, cakes, bread, salsa, jams, preserves, and pickles. Fresh potted herbs such as oregano, parsley, dill, sage, rosemary, and cilantro are often available for less than $3.
