While I don't live close to this Kroger, I do pop off of the highway on way back into town from time to time just to hit this location up! The store is fairly large, well stocked and staffed appropriately. Additionally, while it shows its wear in areas, overall it is in good condition and kept clean. The layout of this location is a tad different from other locations with items being in odd spots, but nothing is too hard to find. My trips here normally consist of standard grocery trips, so I am all over the store spending most of my time in the bakery, meat and cheese sections. This location shares a center with a few other shops and restaurants, so parking is plentiful. Also, this location does feature a gas station. Overall, while this is not my "home" Kroger, I do enjoy it quite a bit and try to make an effort to swing by when it makes sense! read more

This location is fairly big, generally well stocked, and once you figure out the placement of things (I.e. the eggs and butter are not with the milk on the back wall but instead near the frozen foods) it's not to bad to navigate. The mean reason I'm writing this review is about Paulette in self check out. She is friendly and kind and helped when I had an issue with something not ringing up correctly. She is a gem!! read more

This is not a complaint on the staff. This is a message for corporate! This is for the people who decided to reorganize Kroger in a way that makes absolutely no sense. After a long day at work I decided to try and grab a few things from Kroger, I spent 30 minutes walking back and forth through the back isle trying to find eggs then butter. Would have forgot the butter because of its stupid ass placement. Also no one works any more so there's no staff around to help. The last time I was at a Kroger I experienced the same issue trying to find sunscreen. They decided to make a whole category of something that is already another category. Big store compared to what we have in south Tennessee. Everything was clean but noticed a lot of displays didn't have prices because price changes on next day. Ask a couple workers to help with what we we're looking for while they helped we needed to go to several isles because they didn't know where product was located. Self service cashier was helpful and said he know where my product was and told me what isle. Since I had multiple products of same item he scanned one and multiples it. read more

I love this Kroger because it is near my work and open when I get off work so its a plus. I usually go in early in the morning around 5am and noone bothers you at all. The only downside is that sometimes they will leave boxes laying around and not move them out of the main path at least so the shoppers can get around but thats only sometimes. All in all though its a really great Kroger and most of the time you never have to talk to a single person when you shop there. read more

The cashier in the pharmacy was rude and lazy. She was more worried about stuffing her face with peanut butter m&ms over helping the process to getting all the "waiters" she claimed to have. Now I'm spiteful being mistreated having to wait longer because I asked why do I have to wait so long for ANXIETY medications. Never had an issue until her brunette heavy set woman. I will now be late for work. Outstanding people you have working for you. Unreal. Switching to Walgreens or publix very shortly. This Kroger is currently under construction. They are expanding it. There is a US Bank inside of the store. In the parking lot is a Kroger Gas Station. Bakery and deli at great here. Sushi counter right next to the bakery has some amazing rolls. I can always find what I need here. They have self checkout lanes. Customer service is great. read more

Well yesterday I thought I would give Kroger another chance----wrong. Every piece of produce I bought was old with the exception of the green onions. When I cut into the peppers they had black spots on the inside so I cut that part out and they were just tough with no flavor. You could tell they were old but looked good in the store. In other words the vegetables were not fresh. Then I bought Kroger brand black olives............awful. I bought 4 cans and I will throw them all out! Yes, back to Publix....at least vegetables are fresh and if not you can always ask for another batch to be brought out and no one gets an attitude with you!!!! Oh I also bought 4 ears of corn - (remember this is yesterday I bought these - not two days ago even) they were prewrapped. When I opened the side that I could not see was mushy!!!! Therefore old once again! They got rid of some old vegetables. however, I am done with Kroger! I will say the cashier was friendly! read more

This is the best Krogers in Murfreesboro, Tn. I have seen the managers out on the floors stocking items, sweeping floors, and labeling products. I have never encountered one of the retail clerks not willing to help me. I believe that because the leadership at this store is geared towards serving in a different position with their subordinates, this modeling of the leaders yields great morale and customer service in their employees there. read more

This is probably the worst Kroger in Murfreesboro. They always run out of stock, the restrooms are always in disarray, and they've moved inventory around probably 10 times in the last couple of months. You would think that as busy as Church Street is that they would compensate and order more stock, but alas they never seem to. This Kroger is not a very big one, however it is better shopping experience than a lot of the other grocery stores around the area. The prices are comparable to that of Walmart. The selection is...just okay...Because it is a smaller Kroger they do not have a lot of the higher end products. The staff is always friendly, always smiling and is willing to help you out. This Kroger has a sushi bar that is really good, also a bakery and the meat department is very good. The meat is fresh and the seafood is direct from the gulf. read more

The new online click-list order pick-up thing is a rather unique idea, and really expedites the lives of those of us on the go! I like to use it. However, this one visit was a very poor experience. So the way this whole things works, is you order online, schedule a pick-up time in an hour window, drive up to the DESIGNATED parking areas, call the phone number, and wait for them to bring you your order! simple enough, right? Well not this time. So I reserved my pick-up time for 5pm-6pm. I am in a rush because it's 5:55 and last time I was late, they called me and ripped me apart for not abiding by my pick-up time...anyway, I get there a few minutes before 6 and all (six) of the designated parking areas are full, so I pull into the row NEXT TO the designated areas...call it row four if you will. I call the number, she (Kelly) asks what row I'm parked in,and I tell her "well all the spots are full, so i'm on the other side of row three." Well let me tell you, you would have thought hell was freezing over, because Kelly lost her cool, saying that "not being in a designated spot is unacceptable" and to "call us back when you're in row three." Not good customer service there, Kelly. So I head over to the gas station to fill up while waiting for it to clear out a bit...Four cars have now queued at the gas station, clearly waiting for a designated spot to open. I'm not interested in wrecking my car to meet my "on-time pick-up" so I call the number back and ask for the GM/SM, to explain to her the situation and ask if there was anything I should do (now waiting for a spot for 20 minutes, keep in mind, they are not getting my order ready in any of this because I am not in a designated spot). The manager on duty (Erica) states that I should just wait my turn like everyone else because "obviously we're busy". So 6:30 finally rolls around and I get into a spot. Let me tell you, Erica, and Kelly, your customer service skills were beyond negligible, and I hope next time I get someone that cares about the wait time of their customer. If I don't get someone else, I'll just go inside and do my own shopping, because I don't want my $4.00 convenience fee supporting your pay checks for bad service. The people working the deli are friendly enough but the food is truly terrible. How can you f**k up green beans? I've eaten there maybe 25 because it's convenient but I have never enjoyed anything. After reading all of these positive reviews i have to wonder if they shop at the same store. I live within 1/2 mile and only shop there occasionally. Best thing about the store is they're open 24 hours. The clerks don't know where to find products, they're almost as bad as Walmart blocking aisles, they are frequntly out of product (look for the temporarily unavailable signs on shelves). One product i like to buy has been "temporarily" unavailable for months. The cashiers and baggers are soo busy chatting with each other they ignore the customer, and the last time i went there around 11PM the 4 people stocking the shelves were using foul language and complaining about their jobs loudly. I don't need to hear their issues when i'm shopping. Oh... My constant issue is that they put the fish department right next to the bakery when they remodeled and apparently without adequate ventilation so you get really strong fishy smells while you're looking at baked goods when that department is open. Finally Kroger has taken to replacing many of the items with their Kroger brands. They're just not as good and not worth the money. I'm fine with store brands as an option but don't force the issue. Guess that's why i usually shop another store on the other side of town. read more
