We hit up this Kroger to stock up our cabin with goodies. I'm a sickie and actually like grocery store sushi (I know), and I was hoping this little Kroger would have sushi, and it did! I got a couple of California rolls, plus some breakfast things and bottled water and other essentials. I'm used to shopping at a bigger Kroger back where I live, and this one is like an abbreviated version of the one I'm used to. Instead of 12 different varieties of sourdough bread, it had six. But it had all of the things I was hoping to find, at the prices I'm used to. The aisles seem a little small at this store. They're like one-way streets. There were a lot of people at this grocery store, so a lot of patience and "Ope, let me just squeeze around you" was needed. read more

they have the worst self checkout I have ever been to. If you go in the mornings like I used to when visiting,they have no regular cashiers just self checkout. It is so picky with the way you checkout,when you go to pay it thinks you stole and you and the worker(If you can get one that isn't busy talking to other staff)will have to watch what you did wrong before paying.I used to prefer going to Kroger but it sucks now.Also the store is a mess after the remodel. You can't find anything and staff can't either.The guy running the meat section is nice.and an alright clearance section.but not worth going back. read more

This Kroger is to much! I saw no spices to make my rice and the emergency there was not that bad just a guy having a some raw spaghetti form a can. now they have that same spaghetti can but they made a lot more of them and they all look the same. Otherwise servservice was a problem they can just fix by getting rid of the thing where I need to give them money. Like you don't need my stuff it's not like I'm taking your stuff. Horrible customer service. I am 31. I was purchasing alcohol at the self check out. They tried to tell me that the 33 year old women that walked in with me and checked out SEPARATELY also needed her ID. It was a huge deal. It took 30 mins to buy a 6 pack. A second time I was harassed by their staff, it was because I hadn't been wearing shoes (I had 3 broken toes, not to mention I go barefoot for religious and health purposes). They hadn't said anything for the last 6 months and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in groceries purchased; then randomly decided it was a rule. I asked them to show me something in writing and they refused. At one point I was in FEAR OF MY SAFETY because they had 3 large male employees surround me, block my exit, and proceed to tell me to leave. I had to FILE A POLICE REPORT!!! Crazy. SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK. FYI - ALDI is right down the street, and they are much more friendly!!! read more

Was at the store this evening and there were two cashier checkout lines open (number lights ON), one with a customer just beginning to unpack their cart and one with a customer checking out/paying. Naturally I went to the line where the person was checking out and leaving enough room between us, began to unpack my cart onto the conveyor belt. Soon I hear the cashier say something to me. I don't quite catch it, so I turn my head up from the cart and say "Excuse me?" The cashier, whose name according to their tag was KORY, says to me again, with a bit of attitude, "Ummm, I'm closed" and pointed to their number light, turning it off, despite the fact I had unpacked half my cart. As they did this, a slight smirk creeped across their face. It was only 7:13pm. I didn't use the self-checkout because I actually needed help, not the opposite of help. Thanks KORY. read more

I am guessing that since I am the new girl in town this will be my go to store. They had these in Georgia and I was super pleased with them back then as well! Full service deli and a fish front area which is great for me because I like to eat fresh fish as often as I can. The service was great the lines do get leg but the staff makes sure that the lines move along quickly. I love the prices of the food too. Very very reasonable read more

Stopped here for diesel fuel, and while the price was 10 cents higher than another Kroger, it was convenient, since I'm not from the area. With the Kroger Plus card, it asked me if I wanted a 3 cents discount, and I pressed the Yes key. That's not a bad deal for being a Kroger customer. I'm moving, so I won't be in a Kroger area any longer, but who knows if my card will work elsewhere? The pump worked fine and it was fairly easy to find the diesel pump. As I was finishing, some woman in a Grand Cherokee seemed to be put out that I was in her way, even though she didn't use diesel fuel. It's tough enough to find diesel fuel without some of these people taking over the pump when gasoline can be dispensed from any of the pumps. I guess I should have pointed her to another pump. :-D read more

The deli slicers decided to only use one slicer for meat and everyone in line for deli food was there for meat, so that took forever. There were no shopping carts because the workers didn't want to go out in the drizzling rain to get them. We asked the cashier to split the bill down the middle so two people could pay for it, she tried and failed, then wouldn't even refund it to try again. There were no baggers. There was only two cash registers open for a full parking lot of people. We got snacks that were sealed but someone must have come in, eating some, then glued it back together because there were opened empty packets inside. And lastly the selection is not nearly as good as the Kroger in Suncrest Towne Center. read more

my family and I went to to this establishment in an attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages, as we were all of the legal age. an older lady who was assisting us at the self check out was attempting to validate our IDs and was extremely rude and condescending when the oldest of us didn't have his ID. while we understand she was just doing her job, her comments were unnecessary and has made us not want to shop at this store again. read more

They have a new security system that locks the wheels on the cart so you can't go anywhere - this would be ok except it far too often stops people who have paid for every thing like me. You have to stay in place till someone ia finally located to unlock you. They seem to take it as a big joke. I gave them 2 stars because their fish department is good. read more
