They best customer service Kroger grocery store on the planet. It's the only Kroger that has one or more African American cashier's working each time I visit. They also have a huge selection of African American hair care and skin products. This location has the best service and the entire store is always spotless!

Fantastic staff! SO GOOD, I called the manager to compliment them, and one in particular.

I saw that there was a Publix in Pigeon Forge and knew that's where we'd need to go to get our picnic supplies! Because we had flown in (and didn't have picnic basket on our pack list), I knew that we needed to get a small cooler to keep our drinks and sandwiches cool on the warm spring day. Fortunately, Publix had a nice variety of small lunch box size coolers and we found one for a reasonable price that was perfect for what we needed and would collapse down for easy packing to bring it home. We then made our way to the deli and got fresh, deli made sandwiches made with boar's head meats and cheeses. They're fully customizable and we very much enjoyed them! We were also able to grab some fruit, pretzel crisps, boar's head hummus, and bottled beverages to round out our picnic. Everything was great, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed a beautiful picnic in this beautiful area. One note would be that the deli does get busy. We were there in the ease of spring (ie: no big National Park crowds) and we still had to wait in a bit of a line for our deli sandwiches. So, just something to factor into scheduling. That said, we didn't mind a bit and the sandwiches were worth the wait. Get to it!

The stores are usually spotless and well organized. The prices are on par with all the other grocery stores.......but if you've never had the pleasure of enjoying a piece of carrot cake from their bakery, then I would strongly suggest trying it one day. I really like carrot cake a lot, and I can honestly say their carrot cake is better than any other high end bakeries I've ever had.

We found everything we needed plus extras. We found everything to make strawberry cobbler. There was fruits, veggies, everything you could think of but I was also small and quaint, and a very good store. There's a lot of it stores nearby, as well as in a good location. Very clean and well maintained store!

Great Deli Service, but Disappointing Self-Checkout Experience…read moreI stopped into Ingles today and received great service at the deli. However, my checkout experience was very disappointing. When I went to the self-checkout, my hands were full holding hot food plates, and I was trying to find a place to put them down while bagging. Instead of offering a hand, the young employee monitoring the area just stood there, watched me struggle, and laughed. To make matters worse, the checkout system repeatedly glitched, and her attitude remained dismissive and unhelpful throughout the process. Southern hospitality means lending a helping hand when you see someone struggling--a simple "May I help you?" or "Let me scan that for you" would have turned the whole situation around. While this is the primary grocery store in town and I will continue to shop here out of necessity, customer service like this needs to be addressed. Next time an employee sees a customer struggling with their hands full, offering support should be the default response, not standing by and laughing.
