We shop at HEB by 105. But yesterday, coming back from an appointment in The Woodland, we stopped at Kroger for a few items since it was on the way. We cannot believe the difference in prices between Kroger at HEB. Even on items said to be on sale at Kroger, the difference was very significantly higher. I use The pharmacy at this Kroger. I get a lot of prescriptions weekly. This pharmacy is the Best. I have used a lot of pharmacies This is a wonderful pharmacy. all the techs and personal are great to deal with. Mr Phillip The Mgr and Ms Miranda pharmacist Rock!!!!!!!!! I went to this store and used self checkout, which I hate. Anette, who was the associate watching over the self check out, said she needed to count the items in my bags, saying she needed to make sure I had 29 items. When she counted, there were 29 items.She even reached in the cart to touch my grandson's toy that he got for christmas. She asked me if these were paid, and I turned around and snapped, saying YES on Amazon! She even had the gawl to say to me that anyone could be a thief. Oh, did I mention that I'm a retired Texas Master Peace Officer and retired Minister from medical conditions. I found her extremely condescending, Disrespectfull and even mentioned to her about these feelings. I went up and complained to the manager, Haliey, who gave me the 1800 krogers number to file a complaint with corporate. Wich I immediately did Haliey said she would address the situation with Anette. I finally met a woman who appitimizes the Term Caren After I talked to Haliey and walked back to my family, Anettes' mouth was opened, looking shocked, then we left. Why did I give this store another chance??? It has been some time since I visited this store, so I tried again. Now I remember why I stopped going there. The cashier was friendly enough. However, the issue started when I gave her coupons (one was for a free product). She had trouble finding the item, so she scanned it again, scanned the coupon, and then voided something (which apparently was the coupon). So the total after coupons was more than before the coupons. Marissa, the manager came by looked over everything and told me I received all the discounts correctly. Uh, really? So to resolve, I had to pay, get the receipt and find the problems. This is poor customer service. Why is Marissa still there? Clearly there is rot in the management. read more

Their pick up service is very misleading! They cancelled 3 times already on my orders with coupons that they have provided! My Hershey's chocolate that supposed to be a great deal wasn't cancelled when I drove there and was told that they don't have the chocolates! Very misleading! And I have a $15 off $50 so my purchase now is $10 more because they don't have the chocolates. Smh! Definitely not a coupon friendly location! read more

Come here once a week to pick up supplies. Great meat, as I am a carnivore. Butcher has great steaks, and hamburger. Buy the bacon in butcher section, better bacon and cheaper than prepackaged. Veggies are fresh, store is always clean and staff is always friendly. Plus, many of their prices are actually lower than HEB or equivalent. read more

Short version: Brand new grocery store and anchor in the new 336 Marketplace - Grand Central Park. Quick and convenient place for area residents to grab a Starbucks, prescription, conduct banking, fill up at gas station or to grab a prepared item and/or groceries. Longer version: While this is a much needed addition in the area and will be appreciated by the neighboring and growing community... - it met the basics and fell short of any "wow" factor. Touting Boars Head, a Starbucks and little specialty niches within (food stations, clothing, etc) - it was sadly dingy. Could it be the dated dark wood cheesy end caps? Sassy polished cement flooring w/cheap fluorescent garage lighting overhead or was it the dried out prepared items in the "help yourself" salad bar and warming areas that appeared to be left w/out care? Entering the store and Walking into the colorful fruit and vegetables section Set the bar high and excitement grew ... but after that- the wilted flowers, the sad items in the bakery cases and every isle and department thereafter was just a basic, regular dingy Kroger. This is the nicest Kroger I have ever been to. It is part of their Marketplace stores so it offers everything from food to clothing and everything in between. The store is fairly new so it is still super clean. They have fun carts for the kids to ride in and they have kid friendly stations with color books and crayons and fruit for the little shopper. They even have an old fashioned mechanical horse ride the kids can ride for a penny. The store has a huge selection of different food, clothing and kitchen items. There are several food stores if you need to grab a bite and a Starbucks if you need a little pick-me-up. The store was not too crowded at 6pm and there were plenty of check out lanes available. read more

The grocery pickup worker was great but the service itself was worse than useless. We would have been better off to just shop in the store in the first place (since we had to anyway, in the end). Keep in mind that when people choose grocery pickup rather than going into the store, there's frequently a reason, which makes blunders with it even worse. We are older and not doing so well but, together, we get things done. So, I placed my order online last night. Then I added a few things later last night, which is where the problem occurred. I checked and double checked after adding the new items to my order and it was within the timeframe allowed. The new items were included in the total number of items shown and in the total dollar amount to be charged. Done. Then today, I went to click the button that we were "on our way" and noticed that none of the added-on items were actually included. There was also no list of the new items so I couldn't even tell what was missing. I just noticed that the number of total items shown and charged had both decreased by quite a bit from where I'd left them the night before. I tried to call the store but the number shown on the site was actually some main Kroger corporation number, not the number of the store involved. I got a recording suggesting I use the chat function instead. So I did that, and typed out what had happened (still hoping to have my missing items added to my order). At the end of all that, I was notified that my message didn't go through because I didn't include my name or something like that. But there was only a text box, no space where I was asked my name and no suggestion for correcting the "problem." It's obvious that Kroger prefers to give you the runaround and discourage you from bothering them rather than handle your problem. For ex., why isn't the STORE phone number and manager name shown prominently in the first place when it's clear what store I am dealing with? After those additional annoyances, we were out of time so we proceeded to the store. Even the parking spaces for pickup orders were done stupidly. It wasn't clear if we were in space #2 or space #3. Minor issue, I guess, but it does go along with the theme. The guy who brought out the groceries was great. But then I had to go into the crowded store, not feeling well, and try to remember what had been left out of my order, since I wasn't even given the courtesy of being able to find that on the site or my app. This was very poorly done in several ways. Instead of getting the service promised, I got more inconvenience than I'd have had without it. And it was more than an inconvenience. In my condition (and for the reason I chose pickup in the first place) it was actually an unnecessary hardship. And I wouldn't doubt if I'll have to make another trip now, after I discover the hard way what is still missing. read more

I usually try to write reviews for businesses that I'm impressed with. Sorry to say that this is not one of them. Really, really nice store except for the pharmacy. Multiple frustrating experiences with poor customer service to the point where I just transferred my prescriptions to a new pharmacy. If you want groceries, clothing, yard stuff etc., this is your place. If you need prescription drugs I'd advise elsewhere. read more

This store is great, they have so many items including clothes. It's is well priced and I enjoy coming to this location. The pharmacy is this Krogers kryptonite. They never have started on my prescriptions even when I wait a few hours for them to get filled they always act like they just received it and then I have to wait another hour to get it filled. I understand having lunch but I don't understand closing the entire pharmacy for it. They close the drive through and the counter inside and they close it five minutes early as well even when there are other customers in line. Not impressed with pharmacy. Today, I took two (2) prescriptions to be filled and was told they aren't accepting any new customers. At a time when businesses are closing their doors, this Kroger has so much business they're turning customers away? Crazy. So, I'm going back to the Kroger I've gone to for several years - located at Spring Stuebner. It's worth the longer trip to be treated like a valued customer. This Kroger at South Loop 336 won't get another dime of my money - for groceries and medication. Good news is they made it clear they didn't want or need my business. I was amazed that they called it a Marketplace. OMG the produce section & non existing floral department, pitiful deli/bakery! They have a lot of pressure on this store, cannot keep selves properly stocked either, it serves underlying east of I45 Conroe area. I am giving 2 stars only for the pharmacy as it is horrendous. Service is slow and forget about the drive thru. You wait for a long time to be served at the drive through. At least two out of three times shopping at Kroger's the price of items on sale are charged at the full price at the register when checking out. I recently went to the store on Hwy 105, and was told by the manager they were not honoring the weekly ad due to inventory shortages. Manager Robert is not doing a good job making sure the checkout lanes are operating. Today after the customer in front of us paid with $250 in ones Robert was called but failed to make sure the line continued running before he ran off to do something else with the money leaving us for another 20 minutes. Pharmacist Tina was very rude! I used the automated system to refill my thyroid medicine on a Wednesday and on Friday i went to pick up the prescription which i was unable to get. I was informed at that time the prescription was denied on Wednesday but they failed to let me know. Since it was after 5 the doctors office was closed so we could not call them. I asked if the could give me two of the thyroid pills to get me through the weekend until i could contact the doctor which other pharmacies normally do as a courtesy but no way with that disconnected person! I could understand if it was a controlled substance or something but thyroid medicine?? I am going to have all of my prescriptions transferred! read more

Pharmacy customer service is non existent! Took over 30 minutes once I first spoke to one of the staff to get a simple antibiotic that was sent in 3 hours earlier. They said they have 20 minutes to fill an order once we arrive and they took every possible minute they had plus some. Way to go by taking all of the time you need!!! read more

The Kroger store in Conroe itself is awesome. The Pharmacy however needs to get it together. Every time we pick up prescriptions it takes forever to get through a line. I sat, no exaggeration for 40 min. With 3 cars in front of me to get my prescription. My husband has had to sit that long as well when he has to pick up meds. If you are not wanting to waste almost an hour for meds then this is the place Ford you. We are going to be changing pharmacies. read more
