The staff is also helpful inside this location. I stopped in for a few household staples and saw several new items! The onion chips aren't new, but they're good. I like eating them plain, but you could easily top a salad, baked potatoes, or add them to a recipe to add a flavorful crunch! They have a new pasta in for the season, which is a plus! I look forward to trying to products and Trader Joe's always has them! If you haven't tried the banana pudding, ube, and coffee ice creams- don't sleep on them!

I only buy cheap wine and canned goods here, everything else I feel like I'm taking a risk on. They usually have an entire cooler full of "just about to expire" lunch meat that has become a fixture in the store. Other locals in the area always joke about the nearly expired lunch meat deals they are always running when the word 'Fresh' is in the name. The cashier's are hit and miss. There are a few that are very pleasant and helpful, but most of the kids working here are just waiting for the opportunity to drop a gallon of milk on your loaf of bread. Also, on numerous occasions I have seen management berate their employees in the middle of the aisles in front of customers, very unprofessional. I usually end up shopping here because either I'm too tired to go anywhere else or I'm afraid I'll end up at Meijer and drift out of the food side and into the merchandise and come home with new board games, pillow cases, a kleenex box holder, a kitten calendar, and no food.

More of a Market Fresh type thing? They care the staples here, like produce, wine (great selection by the way) food, and some minor household and pet items as well. It's nice if you just need a few items and the selection here's great. Most of the registers are self check out and I saw one with a register lady for those who may have a lot of items. Or, if you're like my mom, refuse to use self check out and go through a line with a person instead. Parking is good and it's in a shopping center with restaurants and a few other places. My only complaint is making a left out of here is impossible especially during rush hour or any busy time for that matter. I do miss Hollywood Market, but appreciate the smaller, less insane Meijer for basic items, especially if the weather's poor, or I'm in a rush.

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. As a mom with 6 kids, this place has become part of my regular shopping routine. I often shop their weekly deals, as they have some really good ones. Just this last week they were running clamshells of strawberries for only $.99 each! Wow! During the week I stopped here twice and bought a total of 12 strawberries. They were huge and juicy and super delicious! GFS has become a staple for bulk items like hotdogs and hamburgers, for BBQs and parties during the spring and summer months. Huge trays of macaroni and cheese, big vats of pickles, tubs of ice creams, jugs of barbecue sauce, 5lb trays of gyro meat and huge bags of frozen fluffy Greek pitas are just a few items that I've purchased on more than a few occasions. GFS literally has everything you need for bulk item shopping, which saves you money in the long run. They have produce, meat (fresh and frozen), seafood, dairy, deli items either already pre sliced or bulk items that they will slice for you. They have a great international selection, cases of beverages including energy drinks, pop, water, and even Jarritos! What I love most about GFS is their huge selection of disposable products. Lots of different size containers, plates, cups, condiment containers and those little paper boats to serve nachos. I come to Gordon Food store for all my party supply needs. They has have cleaning supplies and kitchen items. Don't forget, this is the place to get your catering trays, racks and sterno cans to keep your hot foods hot. Last summer I threw a graduation party for my son for 109 people most of the food and supplies to throw him a huge graduation bash came from GFS. I made lamb gyro pitas, Italian sausage and peppers, Italian party subs, pigs in a blanket, burgers and hotdogs, chicken wings- all of which came from GFS! The food was a huge hit! I love that they are opened 7am-8pm Monday-Saturday, and are open on Sundays too 9am-6pm. Makes for great shopping 7 days a week. They employees are always helpful and friendly. GSF offers a great 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with any purchase, simply bring it back for a full refund. In all the years that I've shopped at GFS, I have only had to return one thing that I didn't care for. It was a hassle free return with a full refund. Keep that in mind if you're hesitant to shop here. I highly recommend Gordon's. If you've never shopped here- check them out!
