Out of the 4 Aldi stores we've been to so far, this one is our favorite. It's always clean, kept well stocked, has a terrific selection and is well organized. As a thrifty shopper, I can say that I will shop monthly or twice a month at Aldi. I've tried 4 different locations near and far in the past year around my home of cruising. This busy location has got to be the best since last years remodeling and expansion. ( New shopping carts too) This location was built larger with more inventory warehouse so it now holds more areas of stock. Whether I shop when the doors open up in the morning or afternoon, its still clean and sale items are available with organized shelves. Employees are always busy yet they will stop to say Hello. When shopping for my purchases this morning, I chatted with "Matt", cashier at check out. He was very pleasant and thanked me for shopping at Aldi. A Classy guy. I've never had an issue in here since their remodel. If you can shop here...Take the time to see many products down every isle. I am a Whiner .. in a great way.. I Love the "Wine" selections with a delicious variety of rotation that is sold yearly during all monthly seasons. The Bakery area with fresh cakes, muffins, cookies, bagels and sweet pastries is always my weakness of temptation after walking in the door. I have tried the German kraut for my famous Polish dish at times as well. My Dear Mother couldn't taste the difference either. The cereals aren't bad either and a few pasta dishes. The many frozen appetizers by the name of "Mama Cozzi" are delicious especially the "Garlic Knots". Another brand: "Specially Selected" sells Mac and cheese bites, potstickers, potato skins, stuffed mushrooms plus more for those upcoming "Holiday appetizers". The Aldi brands are competitive to many name brand products at other popular stores, yet the prices are amazing lower which helps a family on a budget. There's a brand called "Clancy's" offering many snack options such as chips, fritos, pretzels and cheese puffs. Today I noticed Toys.. Hasbro, Fisher Price and a National Geographic 50mm Telescope! Impressive The new wall of coolers in the dairy department are cool as well ! :) Aldi has a slogan "Here Today Gone Tomorrow!" Every "Wednesday" is Meat Specials. read more

Aldi is pretty great all around and this particular location is my favorite one. Lucky me, I have agoraphobia, anxiety and sensory processing issues. Grocery shopping is an ordeal that I have to psych myself up for. Aldi is uniquely awesome because the choices are limited. I don't have to waste my time wondering which brand is best or doing price comparisons. Their produce is decent; some things better than others. The organic baby spinach and French cut green beans are my favorites and they're consistently good. They have a nice selection of quality meat, cheese and eggs. The painfully bright, obnoxious lighting in stores always sets me on edge, but Aldi isn't bad at all. It's somehow less harsh than the average grocery store and they never play music over the P.A. I love, love, love that they installed self-checkout stations. It's my policy to avoid human interactions whenever possible, but on the occasion that I do require assistance the employees here are always very friendly and helpful. Their plastic bag policy rocks my world. Bring your own reusable bags, collect empty boxes while you shop or pay for bags at checkout. Yes! Why doesn't everyone do this? If people saw plastic bags as having monetary value, a lot of environmental issues would become far more manageable. The concept of paying a refundable quarter for a cart is also brilliant. It means the parking lot is never littered with strays that will roll into your car and dent it. It means money is saved because they don't need an extra employee to go outside and wrangle them. And that means you'll find organic free-range chicken eggs for at least $2 less here than at Meijer or Kroger. read more

Groceries prices are on a steady rise. Like a high- steady rise. When you have 6 kids who eat as much as mine do, I appreciate ALDI and their everyday low prices and good quality. Even more, I love their "Double Back Guarantee". If you don't love their product(s), they refund your money AND let you pick another item worth the same price. How can you go wrong!! This isn't my normal location I stop at, but I was near this one and needed to stop. Staples here (any location) for my family are bagels (6/$1.99), English muffins (6/$1.15), eggs (dz/$2.09), pantry items like dry spices and chips, and cheese. In the last 3 months we've added a toddler to our family. My 5 older kids were all cloth diapers, but with our newest little I'm purchasing disposable diapers. ALDI is my go-to for her diapers. They are the most inexpensive of all the stores, including Meijer's, Kroger's and Target. The quality is worth mentioning too. Little one sleeps nearly 12 hours through the night and I've never once had a leak with these diapers. That's damn good in my book and worth many repeat purchases, until she's potty trained. Today I purchased 15 items and was in and out in exactly 10 minutes! Wow! Impressed and impressive on the fast employee checking people out. ALDI is worth a visit, if you've never been. And this locations is probably one of the better ones. Fully stocked shelves, friendly employees and great prices and quality products. Bring a quarter with you want to use a shopping basket, you get it back when you return the cart. Also, bring you own bags or buy them at the register for a dime, up to $1.99, depending on the type you want. With my large family, ALDI saves me tons of money of lots of good food to feed my 6 kids. Highly recommend this location. read more

I thought all all the locations were the same. Incorrect. This one is like a superstore! They have name brands as well as store brands. This is now my favorite Aldi store. Very clean and just straight up awesome! Varieties here go beyond the other Aldi stores! read more

If you have a problem with curbside delivery the store will not help you in anyway. Not worth the pennies you save. You will be told ALDI is not responsible. The more helpful manager and that is using the word" helpful" very loosely will give you numbers to call and then walks away. The less helpful manager tells me I am not listening and it is not Aldi's fault in any way. And basically I am out $63.00. This occurred Saturday around 5 o'clock November 20th at the Groesbeck location in Wanted to give this store a second chance. What a mistake. Teresa the extremely rude manger rang me up and did quite a presentation to let me know my place. read more

Love this store, it's always neat, customer service is great. I love that you have to put your cart back yourself because it reduces the amount of lazy people throwing their carts in the middle of the parking lot. The only thing that "kind of" irritates me is only having one cashier open and running in to grab a couple of items can appear to take longer than normal, but in reality, I checked my time, and it was still pretty quick....quicker than any other grocery store, so it really was not an issue at all.... I love Aldi, but I go out of my way to come to this specific location!!! I didn't know what Aldi was for years until my Mom told me about it. I drove past them and had no idea what sort of store it was and just kept on going! I was wasting so much money! I was never afraid to try store brand items. My Husband and I know what things we like and don't like in the private brands. So first, you have to be open to that. Milk, eggs, butter, bread, cereal, lunch snacks, flour, sugar.....why pay more for these items when you don't know the difference between Pilsbury Flour and Aldi Flour!? That being said, there are a few things my Husband and I don't buy here and it is strictly due to preference. We don't buy cheese here because we didn't care for it and we are cheese snobs. Lol Produce can be hit or miss, so you need to look at it. Bananas are usually good. Bell Peppers have been a dud. I don't do prepackaged lunchmeat, so I head across the parking lot to Meijer...which brings me to why I love this location so much. This location is clean and it seems to be a bit bigger than other stores, but it shares a parking lot with Meijer! I go to Aldi, and get everything off my list there first, then head to Meijer to wrap it up. I have never been a person to go to multiple stores to get the best deals on my groceries, but this location and the savings make it totally worth it. You are not driving miles out of your way, you are going across the parking lot! It isn't uncommon to see people shopping at Aldi, and then see them at Meijer doing the exact same thing. I don't require it, but a lot of friends really like their selection of Gluten Free items as well!! read more

These markets are clean. I went to a super Aldi and another one and they really didn't seem too different to me. Their prices are definitely good. Like their prices on veggies. Not as many food selections as I thought there would be. I compared this to a Sav-A-Lot just a bit more branded than the other market. But it is reasonably priced to help the struggling consumer. I think they should get rid of the yoga stuff and other misc products to make room for more groceries. But I like the price of their eggs and that they had a Mexican sugar I was looking for read more

Confession time: I used to be a complete and total brand whore. If it wasn't a name brand, I wasn't buying it. Aldi has changed that entire aspect of my life. Most importantly, it's also cut grocery bills in half (or more), and that leaves more money for actual fun things to do...like drinking and getting in trouble. It's a small-ish store (all of six aisles), but it has everything and anything you'll want during your weekly grocery trip. Now, to be perfectly up front...I don't buy a lot of fruits or vegetables here. They're not *quite* on par with some of the other stores in the area from that one standpoint, and so I still tend to go elsewhere for those. I wouldn't necessarily plan on being able to pick up high-end steaks here for grilling or anything, but I've picked up their pork chops a few times, and everyone loves them off the grill. As far as the cost goes...well, I used to really annoy people by having a mental calculator in my head and being able to guesstimate prices at Meijer, Target, etc., to within about two or three dollars before the register rang up our stuff...and I just simply can't do that at Aldi. When my head tells me I should be getting ready to fork out about $280 to $300 for a grocery cart overstuffed with everything from the list...the tab routinely comes in at around half that. Today, for instance, was only just over $150, and at a Meijer it likely would've been close to $300, easily. Quality? Like I said, I used to be a total brand whore, and yet I have to actually admit that the vast majority of the store brands are as good if not better than the name brands. As an example, I'm still an 11 year old child at heart, and so I love Fruity Pebbles...but the store brand "Fruity Rice" tends to stay crispier longer, and doesn't go stale as quickly as the name brand. Granted, there are some things that don't quite measure up - the graham crackers are very cardboardish, and so those don't get bought here any more, but all things being equal, it's an absolute "must" for people looking to spend less money on their groceries each week to check out an Aldi near them. Trust a reformed brand whore...you won't be sorry. Debit cards only (no credit cards at all) and cash are accepted. Bring your own bags...or just pick some up there for like 9 cents each. read more

The new store is well stocked and clean. However, they don't provide shopping bags and chart a quarter to use a shopping cart. The pay to use a shopping cart thing really does not make sense during a coin shortage. If it wasn't for the no bags and pay to use a cart, I would give 4 stars. The good thing about it is that it is convenient if I am shopping at Lowe's or the nearby stores. read more

Having been to Aldi once and not impressed I wasn't anxious to go back but my mother insisted and she was right. (if she's reading this she already knew that she was right) There were my organic fresh foods. A nice selection of dried peppers. A $3 Thai Chi exercise DVD with book. But honestly it was the organic fresh foods that surprised me and very reasonably priced. I'm going to keep an eye on the weekly ad now for more of those. read more
