Yum ... I'm gonna give these a try

As a thrifty shopper, I can say that I will shop monthly or twice a month at Aldi. I've tried 4 different locations near and far in the past year around my home of cruising. This busy location has got to be the best since last years remodeling and expansion. ( New shopping carts too) This location was built larger with more inventory warehouse so it now holds more areas of stock. Whether I shop when the doors open up in the morning or afternoon, its still clean and sale items are available with organized shelves. Employees are always busy yet they will stop to say Hello. When shopping for my purchases this morning, I chatted with "Matt", cashier at check out. He was very pleasant and thanked me for shopping at Aldi. A Classy guy. I've never had an issue in here since their remodel. If you can shop here...Take the time to see many products down every isle. I am a Whiner .. in a great way.. I Love the "Wine" selections with a delicious variety of rotation that is sold yearly during all monthly seasons. The Bakery area with fresh cakes, muffins, cookies, bagels and sweet pastries is always my weakness of temptation after walking in the door. I have tried the German kraut for my famous Polish dish at times as well. My Dear Mother couldn't taste the difference either. The cereals aren't bad either and a few pasta dishes. The many frozen appetizers by the name of "Mama Cozzi" are delicious especially the "Garlic Knots". Another brand: "Specially Selected" sells Mac and cheese bites, potstickers, potato skins, stuffed mushrooms plus more for those upcoming "Holiday appetizers". The Aldi brands are competitive to many name brand products at other popular stores, yet the prices are amazing lower which helps a family on a budget. There's a brand called "Clancy's" offering many snack options such as chips, fritos, pretzels and cheese puffs. Today I noticed Toys.. Hasbro, Fisher Price and a National Geographic 50mm Telescope! Impressive The new wall of coolers in the dairy department are cool as well ! :) Aldi has a slogan "Here Today Gone Tomorrow!" Every "Wednesday" is Meat Specials.

Groceries prices are on a steady rise. Like a high- steady rise. When you have 6 kids who eat as much as mine do, I appreciate ALDI and their everyday low prices and good quality. Even more, I love their "Double Back Guarantee". If you don't love their product(s), they refund your money AND let you pick another item worth the same price. How can you go wrong!! This isn't my normal location I stop at, but I was near this one and needed to stop. Staples here (any location) for my family are bagels (6/$1.99), English muffins (6/$1.15), eggs (dz/$2.09), pantry items like dry spices and chips, and cheese. In the last 3 months we've added a toddler to our family. My 5 older kids were all cloth diapers, but with our newest little I'm purchasing disposable diapers. ALDI is my go-to for her diapers. They are the most inexpensive of all the stores, including Meijer's, Kroger's and Target. The quality is worth mentioning too. Little one sleeps nearly 12 hours through the night and I've never once had a leak with these diapers. That's damn good in my book and worth many repeat purchases, until she's potty trained. Today I purchased 15 items and was in and out in exactly 10 minutes! Wow! Impressed and impressive on the fast employee checking people out. ALDI is worth a visit, if you've never been. And this locations is probably one of the better ones. Fully stocked shelves, friendly employees and great prices and quality products. Bring a quarter with you want to use a shopping basket, you get it back when you return the cart. Also, bring you own bags or buy them at the register for a dime, up to $1.99, depending on the type you want. With my large family, ALDI saves me tons of money of lots of good food to feed my 6 kids. Highly recommend this location.

Today, for instance, was only just over $150, and at a Meijer it likely would've been close to $300, easily.

I've been coming to the Farmers Market in Clinton Township for years, and honestly, I loved it back…read morewhen it had that small, country-store feel. It was cozy, personal, and worth the trip. But lately, they've been modernizing and expanding -- and unfortunately, the prices have been expanding right along with it. The perfect example is their store-made roast beef. Just this summer it was $6.99 a pound, and now it's jumped to $9.99 a pound -- a 42.9% increase. That roast beef was the one door-buster item that kept me coming back. I was in their store every other day, picking up two pounds at a time. But now that it's become a popular product, they seem to feel the need to gouge the customer. It's disheartening. They've always run on the higher side for pricing, but at least that roast beef balanced things out. With that gone, there's just no incentive left. Compare it to Cattleman's Market in Center Line, where New York strip steaks run about $7.99 a pound versus nearly $14 here. Lunch meat is also considerably cheaper at Cattleman's. It's disappointing to watch a place I once looked forward to visiting turn into just another overpriced stop. They can keep their roast beef -- I'll take my business elsewhere.

Review #539…read more 2/28/2026 Today I can certainly update My previous review which was only for the sit down restaurant or cafe back on 3/29/2019. Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. Nino Salvaggio has been in business throughout Michigan with many locations since 1978 with 4 locations and coming soon in Livonia on Schoolctaft. The Staff work hard every time I walk in restocking fresh fruit or vegetables that are higher quality than supermarket stores. The premade meals to go are reasonable price or weekly specials help shoppers plan their meals as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. I glad to be a shopper here weekly for those special ideas and deals that help Me create and make my tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy My posted photos attached to help and assist future Yelp friends and shoppers decide what they want to make, and enjoy tasting with their creativity Cooking Skills! Smaczne ! Sincerely, Karen N. :-) Macomb, MI.

I am embarrassed to admit, it had been a while since we last shopped here. But our visit last week…read morereminded us that this is one awesome store. We have a few other fruit markets in the area, but this has become my latest favorite. Every twist and turn through the store offers another product to try. We came in for nothing in particular but left with a cart full. I like that they have half pies for smaller families. Their homemade soups are really good. We tried the chicken lemon rice and the chicken pot pie. Their fruits and veggies are fresh, unlike the grocery stores at times. Oh and that freshly popped smell when we walked in had us making a beeline straight to the popcorn counter. Their fresh salsa is pretty good and their homemade chips I really like. The spinach artichoke dip is very good too. We'll be going back soon for another round of 'let's try this'. We've only just begun our taste testing.

This farm business had more white corn to choose from and the bi-color + also yellow. I bought 6 White and 6 Bi-Color to make my dozen. After parking, are large wagons carts already sorted with colored corn to bag up faster. Then pay inside and/or shop also for vegetables and FRUIT. Everything is arranged very nicely, labeled properly with signs to read prices. I bought 3 nectarines the size of a softball at $1.29# I will try and if they're juicy and sweet, then I'll come back for more. There are some summer help "students" working along with 2 old time sisters.. Owner Virginia is 84 and sister Marianne is 82. Both of them work here to keep busy with their "senior peppy energy" since it's their family business! I did not get their names, shame on me, but I will have to go back and buy some more delicious corn. I had one of each color for dinner today and it was perfect and did not need any salt because it was sweet enough. The history of this farm goes back many years since 1926 , see my photo with the sign to prove. Also do the math it's 92 years old. Its a very well-kept farm with competitive pricing and fresh produce. I have in the past bought 2 or 3 beautiful, full size hanging baskets with 6 different plants in pot at lower prices than English Gardens, or Weigands. Shhhh Again I look foward also at the end of July and the month of August to buy from this location. Clap your hands, Thumbs up for these Farmers, that are still working hard over many years, down the line carrying on the growing farm tradition and their family business name. Let's support your neighbor, the farmers that I've been here way before any other residents in this crazy busy city of Macomb Township. I am happy to drive up, stop and shop to support them! ;)
