The restroom conditions are very hit and miss. At least the receipt printers at the fuel dispensers have very rarely failed me. So there are two issues that I had with this gas station. Firstly I needed a paper receipt and indicated "Yes" when asked by the gas pump computer but then at the end of the transaction, no receipt was available. Secondly to get back on the 1-240 west parkway and head back to the airport was very very difficult! In fact I missed my turn as couldn't get to the left and had to take a longer detour to get back to the parkway to head to the airport. Other than these two issues it was well lit and busy intersection so even tho' it was 6am in the morning and I was a single female, I didn't feel unsafe stopping here to fill gas. Might stop here again if need gas to fill up rental car again. Note: #394 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

The Mr. was far friendlier than the Mrs. The interior of the store is pretty compact, yet they carry quite a variety of inventory. I managed to find a couple of nice, reasonably priced, Italian Pinot Grigio wines for my wife. Unfortunately, they only had three varieties of nonalcoholic beer (all Athletic Brewing Co.). I really liked supporting this small business, and plan on returning. A solid four stars.

She even asked if i had any other suggestions to continue to add on to the decorations and I let her know that what she's done is already more than enough compared to any other boring liquor store! a very sweet exchange :) She also said that i'm free to take pictures of the decorations and offered to take a picture of me in front of it (which i politely declined haha) There's a large variety of liquors in various sizes so enjoy the selections! Today I went in to buy two bottles of liquor. When I entered, it seemed like I was the only customer... in one area of the store were Joe and 3 other younger men (stocking?). Nobody said "hi" or acknowledge me - OK, no problem. I took my purchases up to the register and right before I got to the counter, a young man stepped in front of me and took the place. One of the younger workers came up to help that man. The younger man was searching for vape or tobacco products... "what about that one?" - "No, the one there?" "How man packs in that bigger packet?" and on and on... seems like it went on forever. Finally the Clerk opened the larger packet and withdrew 3 smaller packets.. "Is there anything else?" he asked, so the customer started going over types of liquors... "How much is that one?" "Come in a bigger size?' and so on... not once did the clerk say a word to me ("be with you shortly?" or "thanks for your patience"... nor did he call Joe or either of the other two workers to come forward... finally, the customer was directed to the side wall of the store to look at liquor choices... He walked away and I stood that holding my two bottles while the clerk turned away and started putting the tobacco products back on the shelf.. at the point, I moved forward and placed my two bottles on the counter and walked towards the door. THEN - that clerk looks up and fairly screams out - "SIR, I CAN HELP YOU!!" - I stepped back to the counter and said, "No you can't - you could have but you didn't... you didn't say 'hello' and you didn't acknowledge that your customer is 'special needs' - you didn't call another Clerk... so, you are losing a repeat customer..." and... He responded - "Oh well..." I went several blocks up Winchester to Hacks Cross where I bought my liquor from Southwind Liquor... NEVER LIAM's AGAIN Shop Southwind Liquors...
