This store is out of this world. I love the selections that are offered in every department. The produce is fresh and the price is fair. The cheeses and deli meats are fantastic. The fresh meats and the seafood selections are quite superior to others nearbys. However, what makes this kroger unique in this area is their *Krobar* which is a bar built right in the middle of the store. Imagine after a busy day, you come to do your groceries and you are also able to sit down and unwind have an amazing beer all at a great low affortable price. Not only that but they offer great specials daily. Today sends was wings day. From 4-6:30 fir only $5 you are able to get 10 juicy delicious wings. Kroger allows you to leave you drink at the bar as you continue to finish your weekly grocery shopping. This works perfectly for me as I can enjoy a luxurious beer as I do my grocery shoppjng. read more

It is the simple truth: This is the best Kroger I have ever been in. Why? They should call this Super Kroger. It is so big and they have a great assortment as well as variety of different products. Look at my pictures of the wine aisles. Wow. I just took 3 pictures of the wine gondolas but there were a lot more. I chose a chocolate red wine. I have never seen this before. I will come back to this Kroger real soon. I did not know there was one here this nice. It's about as big as some Walmart Supercenters. The customer service was 5 stars too. Both Kroger employees I encountered were friendly, helpful, courteous, and I could tell really liked their jobs. read more

I enjoyed coming here more so than the other Kroger in town. This one was just further from my house. This is a big store with a lot of variety. I also enjoy their gas discounts, but it also makes me realize how much they profit from us. read more

I have been doing online orders for 8 months now and each order is wrong. I don't buy just a few things I normally spend a lot. They are always out of what I need it they replace it with the wrong product a few times I have gotten rotten veggies and frozen items that were already opened and a few out of date things. And the manager is just rude. For 3 months I asked her would she please order me a case of something and call me and I'll pick it up it never happend. Krogers is a good store when they have the right people working there. read more

First visit seemed to not be too busy. Looked like items were shelved nicely. Cashiers were quick.

grocery HUGE upgrade, they did a lot of renovations over the last few years. the layout is much nicer, darker wood floors, VERY clean, fresh produce. they also have a large area dedicated to health foods, organic foods, with lots of gluten free products, soy products, protein/health bars. has a "whole foods" feel to it, but still carries all the normal grocery stuff too. i think Kroger is in the same family as "Ralphs", sometimes I see Kroger brand sold at Ralphs... anyway, this Kroger is very nice, come check it out it's really nice to see the "healthy food craze" make it out here in small town Dalton. Now if only we could get a Trader Joe's too :P oh and there is a starbucks, sushi bar, deli, blockbuster inside too also has a large selection of cosmetics and bath goods read more

Ordering for pick up is a joke. Placed my order, got there at the correct time, called the store all as instructed. Was told that they could not bring my order because I was parked 2 spots down from their "pick up" spots. Yeah, I was parked there because all those slots were full and I had been circling the parking lot for 15 minutes waiting for one to open up because you can't fill a single order and move anyone along. Will never do business with this store again. read more

Love this store...have to come from Calhoun bcoz the Calhoun store has nothing compared to the Dalton store...I gourmet cook and the produce is always old at the Calhoun store and they don't have many specialty items compared to Dalton...but today a very expensive cell phone was left in the cart and went back and an honest employee turned it in to the customer service desk...cell phone saved!!!! This is a nice store. However, I had a very bad experience with the pharmacy department. I left prescription and phone number. When I returned almost an hour later, I was told the prescription was not filled and could not be filled because it was too soon and the insurance company would not pay. I told them to disregard insurance and I would pay for it. They then said they still could not fill it. After contacting insurance company, I called the pharmacy back and the little mini man hung up on me. I have never been treated so badly at a Kroger. I will never go there again. read more

I really like Kroger, I do pretty much all of my grocery shopping there. They have a really really good deli, lots of different cheeses and meats. The prices are reasonable as well! I do recommend getting a Kroger card though, it has saved me a ton of money! read more

While this Kroger has a far better selection of items than the one on Cleveland Hwy, they are not faultless either. I bought a package of pre-made sausage patties and brought them home. Two days later when I actually went to cook them, I noticed that the package had already been opened, but had been taped shut. I don't know about you, but I don't eat food items that have previously been opened, especially uncooked meat. That is a health hazard if I have ever seen one. Such a letdown. If it weren't for the Kroger points, I wouldn't shop there at all. read more

The management was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The lines for cashier lanes had backed up into the isles. There were no bag persons. This problem has been consistent for two or three months. In the thirty years I have shopped at this Kroger I have never seen it so mismanaged. The management said they were catering to the other shopping options. I regularly spend between 200 and 400 a week. For those who buy alot and often your care of them is abominable. I really can't believe His rudeness and condescending nature. I will be looking for other options. I want a grocery store not a convenience store that punishes those who buy more groceries. read more

Do NOT use INSTACART. Ordered food @12:00 for 5:00- 6:00 delivery. instacart sent email at 5:05 saying they will not deliver today. After calling instacart it takes 3 to 5 business days for Kroger to refund your money! If you call Kroger, they know nothing about the order, even though we got the Instacart delivery from their App. What a Joke! read more

I love this Kroger! It's too far away though! I wish it was a super center Kroger like in Lambertiville Michigan but it will do for now. We are hoping and praying for a super center Kroger here in Cleveland Tennessee instead of driving all the way to Georgia, it's just way too far away. . We eat vegan or organic mostly. We love simple Truth Organic!! Plz Kroger, build a Super Center Kroger in Cleveland Tennessee!!! I love that at least this Dalton Georgia store is open 24 hours which also helps because my husband works all hours and we can go there in the middle of the night. The sad thing is that the deli is not opened at night. And the Krogers in the South don't have the packaged stuffed grape leaves that we Love! so sad indeed! Excellent selection right here in Dalton. By far this is the best supermarket in NW Georgia. They have all the produce you need. International cuisine? Yes!! I love the fact that I can buy products from other countries and cultures. One is able to prepare any dish as most ingredients are found here. I love to go shopping for necessities or just to hang out. Make sure to check out the Starbucks and the instore sushi menu. With Red box outside, you can make it a night. We have been customers here for well over 30yrs. As have my parents. NEVER have we ever had an experience like we had on 5-4-16!! We are both disabled. My husband now has to get the groceries as I am not able. He has a spinal cord injury so walking is difficult and he must use a cane at all times. He always has to use a cart. And, it really does take a lot out of him each time he shops anywhere. Like always the cart battery ran out, so like always before he took it to the front, out of the way, and asked to leave it there while getting another to finish his shopping. Hanniah at the self check outs, decided to PUT ALL OF IT BACK UP! When he asked about it, she said it was "policy" and argued about how long it had been there. He found where she had moved the cart, but a lot of the things were gone. He got back what he could from what was left. As he went to check out, his debit card would not scan. When he asked if it could be the cc machine, Hanniah replied "maybe if you had money in the bank this would not happen". "And, maybe he shouldn't be broke". WTF? Who says that?? There was PLENTY in the account. Though none of her business. It is embarrassing enough when your card fails, even when it is not your fault. But to say that? Are you kidding me?! He called me and I told him I would call my parents and have them bring me down there to take a check/card. I can't drive anymore. He asked if he could leave the groceries there and go get a check/money, as we live less than 5 miles from the store. Said he would be back in less than 20mins. Hanniah said "NO." "Everything would be returned to the shelves and he could just go get it all again." WTF? So he demanded to see a manager. Now I have called Corporate by now and told them to get the store on the phone and handle this NOW! The manager said...ding ding ding "let's go to another register". Okey dokey. Except the line was out in the aisle. My husband can't stand for long periods of time and there was no cart, etc. No one thought to take him to the serv. desk, etc. to ring him out due to his condition and situation. Finally he is checked out and ...the card worked! Guess ole Hanniah is disappointed that he wasn't BROKE after all! This is NOT the way you handle ANY customer...much less a disabled one!! We shop there an average of once, twice a month or more. Spending between $200-$400 per month. As do my parents! NOT EVER AGAIN!! And Hanniah, be glad I wasn't there. NO ONE treats my family like that!! NO ONE! This was BEYOND EGREGIOUS! STAY AWAY! No company that values their customers hires and keeps someone like Hanniah nor this manager!! NO COMPANY! read more

Nice store. Great selection. Severely understaffed! I was in the deli area with four other customers. At first there was only one employee waiting on us then a second finally showed up after 10 minutes. When I went to check out, I thought I was at Walmart since there were only two registers open in addition to the self-service registers. To make matters worse, people with full baskets were using the self-service registers and backing that area up. read more
