The price is reasonable and the servings are quite generous. I've had both the fried chicken and the chicken tenders as well as many of the sides. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. I've only shopped for groceries a couple of times. Although this is the smallest grocery store in town, they have many items you can't find elsewhere.

The employees don't run from you like in some stores I've been in, and they all seem friendly even though there aren't enough working to cover a store that size. That's what you get for low prices though. There are never enough registers open, they want you to stand in line for the self-checkout. That really burns me up, every time I'm there it's like that, I wish they'd put more people on checkout.

What has me concerned is that they have employees working food service when they're sick. It's unacceptable. My sandwich was being made this nice young man and I noticed he kept coughing and sniffling. I asked if he was okay and another employee said that he had been diagnosed with the flu and was still forced to work. I took my sandwich, of course and paid for it, it was not the man's fault. But I wasn't even able to eat it after knowing that. I honestly lost my appetite. The boys coworker said they have even had to work the DELI with COVID. I asked a different lady who the manager was and she said that she was not there at the time but her name was Brenda. Even federal guidelines say that sick individuals with contagious diseases should not be working while contagious. Two days later I got the flu. All because of Ingles. These people are being punished because of trying to be responsible. That is completely unfair to the employees and a danger to the public.

I was there today 9/6 at 4:30pm and the only guy in the department was so focused on closing his department that he obviously couldn't have cared less about three customers standing within 20 feet of him. He completely dismissed us. I have purchased steaks on a regular basis at Ingles in Rockmart. Drove across the street to Triangle and the guy there happily cut two fillets at my request.
