everything is good, except a worker named Susan with curly hair and glasses she treats people wrong and doesn't help and when she does help, she always doesn't no mad way. She's always rude or telling people that they're spoiled for me. I was with my cousin and she told us that we were spoiled and she help us example today took a cucumber out of my hand, which is really rude of her because I was being so nice and she took it like completely took it and she took things that she wasn't supposed to take and she didn't ask things and she just started removing things from the list so if you wanna go go and please don't let Susan serve you. read more

This Kroger does great with Kroger pickup orders. The gentleman (Dirk or Kirk, I'm sorry I'm not sure which) that often brings the orders out is so friendly and helpful. The inside of the store is clean and usually well stocked. The only down side is they seem to be a bit short staffed. read more

Still the worst Kroger...EVER. it's filthy, disheveled shelves, horrible customer service. It's gotten better for a couple weeks, here & there, but it's consistently BAD. Goods are sitting in the middle of the store on Pallets blocking Isles. It's a constant MESS! A new low for this dreadful location. Customer Service desk is closed, but they left all lights on and couldn't bother posting a sign. I used to have a 5 star review for this store I posted a few years ago. I just deleted it because it has gone extremely downhill. Changing to 1 star. Would give negative stars if I could I am so over Kroger!!! For months our pharmacy has been short staffed, which I totally understand because I work at in staffing. I dread picking up my prescriptions because every time I do it takes more than 30 minutes. More times than not the drive-through window is closed. Today I am extremely sick so my doctor called a prescription in for me. I called to check on the status and they were closed for lunch. I called back at 1:30 when they open for lunch, I was waiting on somebody to answer for an hour and 15 minutes before I decided to get in my car and drive up there myself. Since I'm sick I thought I would go through the drive-through window, I was wrong it's closed again. I finally go in line wait another 20 to 30 minutes for someone to ask me what I need. I told them that I have been on hold (and at the time still was, showed her my phone with an hour and 40 minute wait time) all the girl could say was sorry she just got there. I told them I'm extremely sick and I need my prescription, they told me I will have to wait an hour which would have been fine if they would have answered the phone and told me that then instead of me driving up there to get an answer. so now I sit and wait in my car, extremely sick just wanting to lie in bed but instead I'm still waiting on a prescription. This has gotten out of hand and I am ready to switch pharmacies I absolutely cannot wait 30 minutes every time I need to pick up a prescription. I understand being short staffed, but the lack of concern, care, and customer service is absolutely horrendous at this store. Where did their good employees go??? The customer service here is atrocious! Last time I went in the store I was charged for the previous person's order (probably because the employee answered her phone) I discovered the issue when I took my groceries out to my car & I looked at the receipt. I went back into the store to have the issue resolved & I stood there for almost an hour waiting for help. I had to go back out to my car to get the items so they could be voided off my transaction. (I had frozen pizzas so they were thawing out during all of this. I originally paid with my insurance card because it pays for some of my groceries & I was told the only way I could get my money back was if I had a debit card because they couldn't put it back on my insurance card.. I was informed that they were short staffed & the managers were in a meeting so the managers couldn't resolve the issues.. all of this took a bit over an hour & my frozen pizzas were still thawing out... after all is said and done u was apologized to & I was given a $20 gift card for the inconvenience. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! The employees have only become worse & they seem to be getting worse. read more

They are consistent. Consistently bad. Prescriptions are never ready on time. It takes forever to talk to someone. They are usually rude.

I just left this location. The manager came over the loud speaker to tell an associate to get off of her phone. He called her out by name. I shop at this Kroger at least twice a week and this particular associate is 100% attentive and kind. As a customer I was WAY more uncomfortable with the managers actions than seeing an employee in their phone. And, I've never seen this girl on her phone. Please have better management skills. This Kroger is terrible. The pharmacy is awful. If you ever need to get a prescription filled timely or on the same day or expect to have a prescription filled before you run out, do NOT use this pharmacy. I have never had a good experience with this pharmacy. I use it because it is close to my house but after spraining my back and having medicine called in early in the afternoon and it not being filled until the next day, I am switching pharmacies. I cannot say it enough how terrible this pharmacy is. The grocery area is not good either. The produce is never fresh looking and their selection is slim to none. Pick a different store because this location is terrible. read more

The deli department is better than the competitor across the street. They treated my 92 year old mother respectfully. She was pleased with their service. I've been to this store many times and their prices are fair. I knocked off a star because the produce department is not always well maintained and I can't usually find someone to check back stock. read more

This Kroger is very close to our home, but I honestly hate to go there. I will go out of my way to shop at ANY of the others in the Nashville area. All are better than this location. The shelves are never fully stocked and when they do decide to re-stock, it often is during prime shopping hours. Their boxes and carts are filling the aisle so shoppers have to weave through slowly and carefully. Heaven forbid, they should leave an opening for shoppers and be courteous when shoppers can't get to the shelf they need. Several of the baggers will put soft, crushable items underneath heavy ones in the same bag. They also stuff the bags to overflowing so they break as you carry them to the house. They will look right past the customer as they bag the order: No pleasant greeting or friendly comment. I have also rented Rug Doctor machines there. The female supervisor gave me a machine that was missing a part. While cleaning carpets in the house, the water tank gave way and water poured out onto the floor because of the missing part. It was a nightmare to clean up! I took the machine back to the same supervisor and told her what happened ... NO apology, NO credit off the cost, NO care or concern whatsoever. The supervisors are unfriendly, to say the least. They walk by long time customers without acknowledging them, smiling or saying Hi. I've never seen a store so poorly run and staffed. Any Kroger store is better than this one. read more

I notice a young lady, a worker, in this store who was not wearing a mask. After leaving the store I called back and asked to speak to the manager. I described the young lady who was not wearing the mask. To my dismay, the person I was speaking to, the manager, was the young lady who wasn't wearing the mask. So the manager of Kroger was not wearing a mandated mask and was walking around in the face of customers. I mostly now shop at Publix. All of their employees wear masks and they announce distance and masking over the intercom. read more

This Kroger's bakery makes the BEST donuts of all the Krogers I've been to. But 3 of the last 4 times I stopped they haven't been ready yet. This is in a residential area so they may be targeting households instead of workers. Ill still get them on the weekends though. read more

Kroger... What am I gonna do with you? You tease me with a good selection, then slap me with poor service, like you don't want me to stay. I mean, you offer me a great selection of foods. You generally stock a deeper variety of just about everything than Publix does. You have more variety of ethnic foods and spices, for example. Publix edges you slightly in produce freshness and quality, I think. Your meat section has lots of selection, but beef steaks in particular often looked kind of picked over. But your checkout process and staffing... I have to wait a long time to check out. You have lots of check out lanes, but you only staff one or two at a time. Even during peak, after-work, swing-by-the-sto times, you are understaffed at my expense. And what's with the cold demeanor of your clerks? No "hello, how are you?" No "thank you for shopping at Kroger." No, I just get stared at, as if to say "I don't have to speak, because I know that you can just look at the register display to see how much to pay." Have you given up trying to train clerks to be at least cordial? Kroger, your store is generally very clean, well lighted, and well stocked. Why do you let me down with such lack of general service? NOTE TO KROGER CORP: Across the whole chain, you gouge me with exorbitant prices UNLESS I whore out my privacy to you (i.e., and join your "Plus" program). I really dislike that. I will pay a bit more to find a Publix, where the service is nicer and I get competitive pricing without giving up my privacy. read more

I have visited this location before and TWICE have I brought home meat that just smelled wrong. I had to go back today because I won a Kroger GC at work. They have a nice little organic section at this location but it must not be very popular because the items don't seem fresh and the produce look very sad. Also after shopping at Publix for so long it seems eerie to me to walk through an entire store without acknowledgement. No one said hi to me, asked if I was finding anything, fed me pretty little samples, nothing. They pretty much ignored me so I bagged up my gift card purchase and headed home. My last review was "cleansed", when I was too nice about Gus's Chicken. But it is the best fried chicken on the globe!! But today, I may get filtered for being too negative, but I will give it a shot. I have been buying groceries at Kroger for decades in multiply states. They have good raisin bran and they also have the best popsicles --the cherry pineapple absolutely rocks! BUT, their help is some of the most unmotivated and unfriendly people that I have ever seen. Kroger is a dark place. Today I bought some paper towel, which was nearly impossible to find. It was not with the other paper products for some reason, so I had to wander the entire store. I did find it, eventually. I bought a couple of other small items and checked out at the 15 items or less. I had 6. I gave the cashier my Kroger card--nothing happens without this "card" . put the stuff on the belt and tossed on my cloth bag. I had to "make' her say hi to me. I actually worked at getting a response, evidently they are trained to not interact with the customers!!! This is not a good way to run a business. It was just me in line. She bagged everything in the nice little plastic bags that I hate. They are a pollution nightmare. So, I paid my bill, picked up the cloth bag still on the belt---what .... I took the paper towels ( 2 double packs) out of its plastic sleeve of pollution and repacked everthing in the real cloth bag. Three bags versus one of mine. I like to full bags that eliminate trips and speed up the transport process. OK, maybe I am overreacting?? No, I am not. Kroger service is lousy. If you go across the street to Publix, you sometimes have to calm them down. They know how to treat the customers. They are trained, motivated, chatty, current and actually care. Plus management is always close by to help out. Good Bye Kroger, I will not miss any of your lousy service and unfriendly staff. I may get some popsicles next summer, but I will use the self service lane--if it is working. read more

This Kroger has always felt backwards to me. I don't know that I can explain it, it just does. And, there are some items that are just downright hard to find due to being placed in off the wall places. It's quite nice and spacious...very spacious, actually. Especially compared to the Brentwood city Kroger. And it's decently clean, although I certainly wouldn't eat anything that touched that floor (but hey, I wouldn't eat off of any floor). I like that they stay open relatively late. They've been open anytime I've been. Also, I like being able to earn a discount on gas. Every little bit helps when it costs nearly $100 to fill your tank! And, as Benjamin said, they tend to have the cheapest gas. I appreciate that most of their items cost less than Publix. I think Kroger has the better bakery; Publix better seafood (I've always been wary of buying seafood at Kroger b/c that department smells rank much of the time). Publix has much better produce, but neither is something great. They do carry some items that are hard for me to find elsewhere. But, sometimes things remain on the shelf longer than they should. All in all, this Kroger is a decent option and it offers a good, more affordable, alternative to Publix. read more

Gas station review: the pump kept saying my zip code was incorrect (it wasn't), so I went to the cashier and politely asked her if that pump was having issues (it's not her fault the pump is broken). She rudely told me the pump was fine, but I don't know my own zip code. I explained the zip code is correct and she said "well I guess you need to call your bank". Horrible customer service, very rude for no apparent reason.... I literally drove away and went 5 miles out of my way to get gas. read more

As Travis A. stated, it's Kroger. Nothing new about this. This location does have a gas station where you can get a discount on gas with your Kroger discount card. You can always get $0.03/gallon, but depending on what you have spent at Kroger, it is possible to receive incrementally more. It is best to find this place at a off time as it is often very busy. read more

Oh where to start? I only go to this Kroger when I'm in a hurry and it's close but for my every week grocery haul I make the drive to Franklin. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry today and made the choice to stop by and of course regret it. I'm convinced that ALL of the teenagers that "work" here only come in to socialize. I literally saw 2 people actually doing their jobs, go figure they were adults! One of the guys working had an army hat on and he is older so it was clear to me that he is a retired vet (my hat goes off to you sir, thank you for your service) I made a point to say hello and asked how he was and he asked me the same, it's what most adults do BUT the teenagers were just bullsh*tting with one another and on their phones while checking out customers. I know I'm not the only adult that thinks most NOT all (so don't get offended) teenagers are privileged and lazy?!?!?! The world owes you nothing and if you want to make money, put in the work. None of these kids smile, tell you to have a good day and never ask how you are, isn't that part of your job? If you're not a people person then don't work with or around people. Oh, and while you're checking out a customer, don't yell clear across the store trying to talk your buddy into buying you food! What is wrong with the hiring staff? You may need people but get people who actually want to work and appreciate the value of a dollar. To all of the kids reading this, you'd get where I'm coming from if you grew up when there wasn't internet, cell phones, Snapchat and any other app to distract you from interacting with actual humans. Put the phone down and be in the moment with real people, you'd be shocked how great that can be. Though we all understand that "Kroger is as Kroger does" there is no excuse for the crabby staff and disinterested employees you will encounter while shopping this store for groceries. Sure. The prices are right. The pharmacy is nice and the employees there professional. But the rest of the staff is prickly, their customer service attitude comes with the caveat "I am watching the clock because I can't wait to punch out." Many shopping trips I leave relieved that the cashiers didn't punch me out too. But the easy in, easy out, make this Kroger a quick trip for the forgotten milk or a roll of toilet paper when Publix is closed. If you check out at self serve, all will be well. read more

This store just had a grand "re-opening". I will say the customer service is always good here. I'm here quite often and see the same faces all the time, so it doesn't seem like they have a high turnover. The store is always clean. You can also get up to 30 cents off per gallon of gas when you use your Kroger card, which I definitely take advantage of. I've also had to use their Little Clinic before on the weekend for something minor and they were great. My only complaint is sometimes it's hard to find things in the store. They're not the most organized. Pasta sauce is on one aisle while crushed tomatoes and everything to make your own sauce is on another. It's a bit confusing. read more

Given this Krogers one too many chances because of convenience sake but I won't be coming back again. My husband and I have nicknamed several of the employees there because of their "distinctive" attitudes. Some of those employees like to pretend they're still on the prison yard. Face tattoos and all. It doesn't feel like a store instead you're being treated like an intruder. Fake smiles, unhappy atmosphere, constant chain smoking outside the store. They don't want to see your business... Not a single day you won't drive past there and see 1-3 people smoking outside. All around depressing/dirty/run down looking.
