There was a mishap on the card (another card was stuck behind it - same exact card but I didn't need 2, just 1)! The cashier and I both didn't notice when I was inside the shop. She wrapped up my wind chime and bagged the card (now discovered to be two). When I got home, I phoned them right away when I saw the other card was stuck to it! I explained what happened and asked to pay for the mishap! Gigi was extremely helpful in figuring out how I could do so and thanked me for my honesty. I'm just glad we could sort it out! So just be aware if you pick up a greeting card to check another card isn't stuck to it! The pricing of items: very fair! presentation of the overall store: very good! customer service: great! Here you can find a wide variety of hand-crafted goods. And there is quite a myriad of objects on display. There are a large number of hand-woven bags, rugs and tapestries for use or display (or both). One wall is almost entirely devoted to jewelry. And there's a very large collection of pottery, including bowls, dishes and coffee mugs. This place is an excellent place to shop for those who are intrigued by foreign cultures. And the prices are extremely reasonable. And besides for being reasonable, you can find nice pieces in the under ten dollar range, well into the one hundred and fifty or more. There really is something for any budget. I was greeted when I entered the store and asked if I needed help...but was not asked every five minutes (something that I see as a major plus). Not just books! Not to mention their book selection is stellar and on point. When I went here recently (I come here often), they had an author speaking upstairs, and plenty of chairs out for an audience. Upstairs, they have tons of boxed cards and single cards, and again, lots of things that you may have not known you needed - or wanted to gift someone. I can truly spend hours in this bookstore. They also have additional seating and another drink menu inside as well. Literally, something for everyone! The prices are normal and I'm so happy to support local business in any way that I can. They also share a parking lot in the back with Total Wine and a couple other retailers. I had no idea! But definitely helpful. Texted to get a quote for Christmas Light Installation for our 1200 square foot home and garage…read more Specifically requested lights that were on perimeter of roof and the pitch of roof and even provided a sample photo. I also instructed him as to where outlets were located to be used to plug in lights.The price was negotiated, he would provide lights, extension cords and timers. Also the work was completed while we were out of town. Returned home to see that only 2 sides of the house had lights working. One strand had a missing bulb. The garage was not connected with power and also the lights that did work were plugged into an outlet that so the extension cords was visible from my livung room windows and in back patio instead of being hidden if he were to use outlet I requested. In the end I paid $500 for 2 strands of lights with a bulb out and garage lights with no power. I definitely feel scammed. I texted and called multiple times and made myself available multiple days with me being late for work as he promised to return and fix and I am still waiting nothing has been fixed.
