However, we spoke so long about my skin rash that I forgot to ask about a mole I needed looked at. I minutes down the road and proceeded to call back to the front desk to tell them my dilemma. When I spoke to the receptionist, she told me that in order for me to have it looked at I needed to schedule another appointment and pay another $75 co-pay. I would've gladly turned back around to have them look it or stopped back in another time I definitely got the impression from my conversation with the front desk, staff, that the practice is more concerned with the monetary value of my visit as opposed to keeping a new patient. I am really in my experience, and I will not be returning back to this practice.

Disclaimer: I had a total of two visits. Initial one and a second. My problem stems when I received my insurance statement. They billed the initial consultation and so they are charging me for my portion. When I called to question the charge they said that because I signed the agreement allowing them to bill my insurance I am now responsible for any unpaid portion. The right thing would have been for them not to have billed the initial consultation but they did. So then consequently they should have written off my portion. Mind you I'm not questioning the charges for the second visit just the initial. Before receiving my statement I had made another appointment but I will be canceling it and not continuing treatment with them. I have no respect for a provider that engages in this type of practice. In my opinion this is a bait and switch. I will be filing a report with the AG's Office.

They also have a pharmacy upstairs that can fill any prescriptions you have. The parking lot fills up quickly so keep that in mind. The wait is usually not too bad, though I will admit there have been some occasional delays. The facade, parking lot and waiting room are a bit depressing or perhaps bland. However, this is in no way a reflection on the people and the work they do. Dr. May is well known in the area as well as respected.
