It would be an understatement to say Kristen is a good wedding planner.. because she is AMAZING at what she does.. really. My wedding was on 1/27/18, and I am so incredibly thankful for her that it would be an injustice to not write her a review because everyone should know how great her and her team is. I did a "Just the details" package, which is she basically took over all vendor communication and organization from the 2 months prior to wedding date mark. The choosing of vendors, design, finding products, etc. was done by my husband and I. We wanted to be involved with our wedding but had no idea how to go about it, and were in fear of what could potentially be missing, things missed on contracts, etc.. I mean, both of us had never gotten married before and our family.. yeah nope. We wanted to throw a good party and still both worked full time. Prior to that for the rest of the year, Kristen was there for us as a consultant, if we had questions, needed recommended vendors, etc.. this was such a great comfort for us!! Her taking care of vendor times to setup, timelines, setting up our decor, coordinating the flow of the wedding is EXACTLY what we needed and she did it FLAWLESSLY! Now to the day of my wedding.. it ended up raining, but Kristen pulled a miracle by moving the reception into an alternate area, everyone on the team on board to move everything.. now this wasn't even part of the "plan B" to begin with, but all our guests had no clue and everything went flawlessly. Now this happened because Kristen has GREAT relationships with many vendors.. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and has GREAT style, but at the same time is very professional and is assertive when she needs to be. She's always been great at communicating with me, prompt and thorough and always attentive to my thoughts and gives great feedback. We received so many compliments about our wedding, how heartfelt, beautiful, and fun it was, but I honestly cannot take all the credit because we owe so much to Kristen Moux and I am so grateful for her. I am fully confident in recommending her 100% for planning and coordinating any event!!! love her! read more

Kristen helped me plan my proposal on O'ahu. Together, we spent months planning. From her very first draft, Kristen went above and beyond to ensure our special day would not be a cookie-cutter experience. We fine-tuned every detail of the proposal, from the photos of us in the hall to the flowers and live music in the suite (and the engagement shoot the day after). I have a tendency to be obsessive with details, and not at any point did Kristen make me feel like I was pushing things too hard. Thanks to Kristen, my fiancée (she said yes!) got to experience the storybook proposal she deserved. I'll be eternally grateful. PS. I'm going to try and convince Kristen to coordinate our wedding on the other side of the world :) read more

Kristen is by far one of my favorite people in the world! She helped me so much in deciding the little bits of our wedding and made sure everything went smoothly all the way till the end. Her team was awesome also super helpful and very friendly! Everyone wanted to know who I used as my coordinator after the wedding. She kept me on track and even threw a special surprise dragonball hunt in for my now husband lol, because she found out he was a fan and I wanted to figure out how to incorporate it into our wedding. I wouldn't have been able to do all of this with out her! If you dont have a coordinator, please look her up! read more

Kristen is absolutely amazing in every respect, and while you'll probably have to make some tough choices while planning your wedding or event, you can be confident that hiring her is the best call you'll ever make. My wife and I just passed our first anniversary, and even now we are stunned with how wonderful she was. Kristen helped us throughout the planning process and was never too busy to answer questions, make excellent recommendations for vendors, and give us priceless advice, even about things we hadn't even considered. Then, in the two weeks before our wedding, we felt as though she was entirely focused on us as she tied together a million details behind the scenes. And on the day of, Kristen and her team ensured that everything went perfectly, down to the tiniest detail. We had absolutely nothing to worry about, and could focus entirely on enjoying each other, our guests, and the festivities. Even a year later, there's nothing we regret or would have done differently, and so much of that is thanks to Kristen. In a time filled with uncertainty (Summer 2020, 'nuff said), there's one thing you can be SURE of: hiring Kristen for your wedding or event is the right move! read more

Kristen is amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better planner. We live in San Francisco so despite first meeting via FaceTime, we felt an instant connection as Kristen made us feel right at home. She was always brutally honest with all of our ideas and responsive even though we were planning way ahead of schedule at times. Unfortunately COVID-19 led us to cancel our wedding but I truly mean it when I say that we couldn't have gotten through that process without Kristen. She went above and beyond her role as our wedding planner and helped with EVERY step. Thank you Kristen!!!! read more

Kristen was amazing! From the day we hired her as our coordinator, she gave us all the tools we needed to be organized, timely, and READY for our big day. Many of my friends have done weddings without a coordinator/planner and they've all told me how stressful it was leading up to the wedding... Well, my wife and I definitely cannot say the same. We had a great fun week and by far the best day of our lives. Leading up to the 2-month mark Kristen met with us and just helped us to organize all our plans, vendors, contracts, and so many more things that we would have completely overlooked. Two months out she was the point of contact for all our vendors. She made sure she knew all their contracts inside and out, made sure we got what we paid for and coordinated the logistics of them setting up, breaking down, etc. Kristen also gave us a lot of advice on how to handle certain things, but was never pushy--she made sure we were still very hands-on with planning our wedding. The day of our wedding, it RAINED--it rained right before the processional. So we tried to wait it out, but it rained for too long, but before I knew it, Kristen had already been coordinating the move indoors into a part of the venue that ended up being GORGEOUS and way more intimate and meaningful than our original plan. I would not have had it any other way. It was the best day of our lives and we received a ton of compliments on how beautiful, fun, and epic our wedding was and we never failed to mention that our coordinator Kristen played a HUGE part in it. I highly recommend Kristen as your wedding coordinator/planner. She knows what she's doing and she does it at the highest level. read more

Let me just start this review off saying that i was trying to plan my wedding in Oahu, from the mainland. After finding a venue, and almost losing my mind doing so...ready to throw in the towel right then and there, i decided that finding a full event planner was essential for my happiness... and sanity. Kristen came as a recommendation from my moms sorority sister, and she was a dream come true. She sat through hundred...or was it thousands (haha) of emails from helping me pick out colors, flowers, themes, to being there for the vendor visits, and helping me stay with in my budget. She went above and beyond, and held my hand the entire way. My husband and I were left on our big day with not a worry on our minds. Everything was taken care of. I could not be more appreciative of her efforts and patience. Our day was better than we alone could have dreamed it. I would highly recommend Kristen Moux events for any event planning. She is extremely organized, professional, and makes the whole overwhelming part of throwing a large party easy and fun. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better planner! She made planning my destination wedding so much less stressful, and was very helpful in recommending vendors that are amazing as well. Not only was she a dream to have while planning the wedding, she mad us feel so much better about reorganizing our plans when COVID-19 derailed our initial wedding date. I 100% recommend Kristen to anyone wanting to have a wedding on Oahu. read more

Kristen Moux made the planning process so much easier and made our wedding day gorgeous! For those of you looking for someone who is knowledgable, kind, budget conscious, and hilarious, look no further! Kristen Moux is your girl! We worked with Kristen on our day of coordination and since our budget was very small, we were so grateful to find her. From day one, Kristen was looking out for us. She gave us great ideas and suggestions, without being pushy or overbearing. She was conscious of our budget and never made us feel like we were "less" than anyone else. She treated us with the same respect as others paying her so much more and put just as much effort into our wedding as everyone else's. Kristen has the kind of personality that works well with others and that was very important to us. On our big day, Kristen added touches to our reception that truly fit our personalities and made the day even more special. Kristen went above and beyond for us and we truly recognized that. We highly recommend her to all of our friends and family. read more

From the first day I met her, Kristen put me at ease just by how calm and competent she is! I was pretty much planning our wedding alone since my hubby is in the military and most of our family is on mainland. Kristen's expertise really shined since I might've picked her brain 1,000+ times and she had answers or would find them! Anything about weddings on Oahu are her jam. She made our big day go so smoothly, everyone was impressed at her organization. Can't express my gratitude for her enough! read more

Highly, highly recommend hiring Kristen Moux Events for your wedding needs! My husband and I hired her with her Just The Details package, which is similiar to Day of Coordination services (but so much more). As soon as we hired Kristen Moux Events, we were able to consult with her about various questions we had leading up to our wedding day. It was a great help to be able to contact Kristen + her team with any questions/concerns that we had. Kristen has great contacts and experience in the wedding industry, and we greatly valued Kristen's opinion and suggestions. Our DJ that we hired (BlissDJ's) even told us that he was happy that we hired her, because as another vendor, she is an awesome coordinator and he enjoys working with her. In the month leading up to the wedding, Kristen's help was invaluable. Her guidance and worksheets really helped us to feel comfortable that our wedding day was going to be just fine, and also helped us to stress less leading up to the wedding. And finally, on our wedding day, I can honestly say our wedding was AMAZING. We had the best time, our guests and family couldn't stop saying what an AMAZING time they had, and how well our wedding was put together and flowed. Kristen + her team did so much for us, and we are so grateful. Now when I go to other peoples weddings, I can't help but compare how amazing Kristen Moux Events was for us. Kristen + her team were a joy to work with, and like I said, I highly recommend hiring them. read more

Girl is a rock star. Was on top of everything with unrelenting detail and kept us on track. Kristen is super sweet and a pleasure to work with. The whole process was great but even better was seeing the end result and how everything came together. The wife was pleased greatly, mission accomplished. read more

Looking back at our wedding day the only word that comes to mind is perfect. My wife and I had an absolute blast during the planning process with Kristen! We entered the process very nervous about the huge task ahead of us. Luckily Kristen easily guided with us through the planning process and was always there to make suggestions or answer any questions that we had. Our favorite part of the planning process was seeing the details go from sketch to reality. For us the excitement didn't really set in until we started to pick up the items and drop them off to Kristen's office for safe keeping till our wedding day. Kristen really helped us to make quick progress of the planning without digging to deep into pinterest and other social media websites which could cause us to change previous decisions we had made. However if we did find anything we wanted to change she was always very open and welcoming to our ideas. Having an amazing wedding planner like Kristen is without question the biggest relief you can give yourselves as a couple on your wedding day. She was there to help keep us on track with all of the planning details leading up to the wedding. Then on the day of our wedding we were able to enjoy and appreciate all of the events without any stress because Kristen was on site to take care of any questions from vendors or our families. She and her team also did an excellent job of keeping our day/night on schedule with the timeline she prepared in her office. Our favorite part about working with Kristen is experiencing how amazing she is at bringing a theme to life. We loved seeing her sketches of our head table and wedding cake in the office, but when we walked into our ceremony and saw the finished product for the first time we we're completely blown away! Kristen worked with the vendors to go far above and beyond our expectations. We cannot thank Kristen and her team enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! read more

Kristen was the best wedding planner we could have asked for! From our very first call I knew right away that she was "the one" and boy were we right. We went for the complete package and it was the best decision we made. She is insanely organized and knowledgeable and kept us completely as ease every step of the way. I am eternally grateful for her because our wedding truly was the perfect day. read more

Responses from this company are very slow. I attempted to contact for a free consultation and I got scheduled in with 3 days. Not bad. However, when the time of my appointment came I never got a call and no one picked up my call. If they cannot keep their appointment or keep me in the loop for delays, I could not trust them with my event. read more

We are incredibly grateful to Kristen and absolutely could not have gone throughout the wedding process without her. The great thing about Kristen is that she is both personable and kind while also being tough and decisive. Perfect example: about 10 minutes before our ceremony was about to start, Kristen asked me for my iPod so that she could give it to the DJ to play during the processional and recessional. I realized I had forgotten it in the hotel room and was about to send someone to run back and grab it. Without hesitation, Kristen said that she would buy the songs and put them on her own phone so that no one would have to rush back and there wouldn't be any delays to the ceremony. She was completely cool and calm about the whole situation and it definitely went above her duties. This is but a small example of the many times she exceeded our expectations. You can tell that she is 100% invested in helping you to achieve the wedding that you envision and is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. There are so many details that we didn't even think about that Kristen helped to coordinate so that we and our guests could enjoy the wedding day. She is organized and efficient and it is obvious that she is passionate about people. Kristen also does an excellent job of respecting your opinion while also sharing her input on what she thinks works best based on past experience. She is worth every penny and more and we strongly recommend her! read more

I am SO GLAD I MET KRISTEN AND HER TEAM! I had her as my day of coordinator and I was shocked that she contacts/helps you two months before the day you get married (and even earlier through email/phone/text)! Kristen and her team go above and beyond for their clients and hands down I would recommend her as your wedding coordinator/planner. I can truly tell you that she cares about your vision and you expectations throughout your wedding. What was really important to me for my wedding was to have everyone stress free. I didn't want to ask my parents/relatives to help with setting up the reception, I didn't want to have vendors emailing/calling me on my wedding day about any mishaps, and I definitely wanted to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about what could go wrong. Kristen was a huge part of my wedding and it wouldn't have been the same without her! I consider her more than just my coordinator, she is definitely a great friend :) read more

Your search for a wedding planner ends with Kristen! My husband and I live in California and we interviewed a handful of planners to help us plan our wedding on Oahu. The moment we spoke to Kristen we knew that she was the one! It felt like we had been family friends for so long, she asked genuine questions to get to know us personally and what our vision for our special day was. Throughout the planning we were able to visit and Kristen scheduled venue and vendor visits. She also suggested vendors based off our budget/style and was able to get us discounts through her connections. Fast forward to our wedding day, Kristen and her team went above and beyond! The ceremony and program flowed seamlessly. If you want someone who cares about details from beginning to end, Kristen is your girl! I couldn't have imagined this moment in my life without Kristen by my side. We are forever grateful for her! read more

Now that things have settled down, I wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work at our daughter's wedding! As I said before, I don't know how people do something as complicated as this without professionals like yourself. I honestly wouldn't have enjoyed the evening if I didn't know that you were handling everything, and I would definitely recommend your services to anyone who is planning any kind of event like this. We are so grateful for your knowledge and attention to all the details, big and small. Everything went perfectly because of you! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this woman! In the beginning, my husband and I had opted not to have a wedding coordinator since we were trying to stay on budget. After meeting Kristen, we were impressed by her professionalism and realized we needed to have her for our wedding! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Kristen communicated with me via email, phone calls, and meetings. She made sure she was available for me. She even gave us a checklist to see where we needed to be at, which really helped with the planning process. On the day of, Kristen arrived on time and made sure everything went smoothly. She made me feel calm and relaxed and handled everything for me. She made cute customized bags for my bridesmaids to carry their essentials. When I had some itchy bites from taking photos, she was there with bug repellent! Thanks to Kristen, our wedding day was PERFECT. Following the wedding, she even made us a special wedding gift to help us relive our special day. Kristen is professional, organized, creative and has a great passion for what she does! She truly went above and beyond and I would HIGHLY recommend her to all of my family and friends! read more

I emphatically recommend Kristen Moux Events. I've worked with Kristen and I've gotten to know her through the wedding industry on Oahu and I've found her services to be incredibly helpful and the brides I know that have worked with her have been highly satisfied. When I think of KME, I think of pleasant demeanor and service, and impressive organization, inspired creativity and resourcefulness. read more

Kristen is organized and she has an easygoing personality. From the time we first met, she "got me" and she understood the vision that I had for our wedding. Throughout the process, she got to know me so well that she was able to read the expressions on my face and know whether or not I liked or disliked an idea. There were times that my husband and I got mentally stuck on how to handle a situation. Kristen would give us options that we hadn't even thought about and she would tell us the pros and cons, and then let us decide from there. Two weeks before the wedding, our vendors, entertainment, and helpers had questions that needed to be addressed. By then, Kristen had taken over all contact with them and I didn't have to worry. All questions were directed to her. I knew that she had our best interests at heart. It's true, when they say that you're going to need someone to be your support system (besides your fiancé, family, and friends) during this stressful time. Kristen becomes your "bestie" in the true sense of the word. read more

Hiring Kristen Moux to coordinate your wedding will be the smartest decision you make during the wedding planning process! Our only regret was that we didn't hire her sooner. We were several months into planning by the time we asked her to be a part of our wedding--right away, we felt so taken care of! She is the sweetest person ever, and she makes it so you can actually enjoy the wedding process and the precious time you have to be engaged. With her experience and knowledge of the wedding industry--we could always count on professional advice when consulting her. She took much care in regards to communicating with us and with our wedding vendors. Even though she had other clients, she made us feel so important, and after every consultation, we left with big smiles! She's just so much fun to be around. I think it was so important for us to hire someone to make sure our wedding day went smoothly if unavoidable problems came up. We were supposed to have an outdoor wedding in the courtyard of YWCA Laniakea, but unfortunately it rained. Kristen and her team did a wonderful job of transferring everything to the banquet hall, and they did it in great timing and no one knew that there were any hiccups that day. My whole family and in-laws adored Kristen--my grandma (who is sometimes hard to please) after the rehearsal ceremony said to Kristen, "I am SO GLAD my granddaughter has you!!" My husband and I can't thank Kristen enough for all of her input on our wedding plans, executing our wedding vision, and all the laughs and smiles we shared throughout it all! :) read more
