I occasionally stop by Krispy Kreme to get a donut. I saw they had a specialty box of a dozen donuts for Halloween for two days only so decided to grab a box before I missed it. I utilized the drive thru. It was quick and easy. No substitutions allowed on the speciality box even if you offer to pay the up-charge. Also, cannot get other discounts with the box. The donuts were super fresh despite getting them later in the afternoon. I was actually surprised they still had them, I figured they would be sold out. The donuts are purple and I thought you may be able to taste the purple food coloring but I was pleasantly surprised you can't. The one with the witches hat, the black frosting has a strong food coloring taste but its only a tiny portion of the donut. I hope they do more speciality boxes like this because its fun and changes things up. I highly recommend these of you are having a Halloween party or to take to the office. read more

Typical Krispy Kreme experience... the place seemed clean, but the service today was terrible. There was no rush, yet I was completely ignored from the moment I walked in. Only two people were ahead of me, and they were already halfway through their order. I just wanted one box of original glazed donuts. After they finished paying, the employee looked at me, said "one second," then walked off to prep the coffee maker and handle other tasks and never came back. It's been a while since my last visit, and I was also surprised to see a dozen basic donuts cost nearly $20. After waiting about 10 minutes, I took the hint and left. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least have enough staff to take care of the customers standing in line. read more

Krispy Kreme doughnuts is one of my favorite spots to stop by for doughnuts. This location has a open kitchen where you can see how the doughnuts are made. I don't typically get their coffee, only the doughnuts! My family and I stopped by this Krispy Kreme location on a Friday to pick up a dozen glazed doughnuts. I do plan on stopping by again relatively soon to pick up some of their pumpkin spice collection while it's still in season! The glazed doughnuts were delicious! Krispy Kreme' doughnuts are so light and sweet! If you need to reheat the original glazed doughnuts, it's recommended for up to 8 seconds in a microwave! The team at this location were amazing! Thankfully, we have about 5-6 KK locations in Vegas - I wish we had more. If I ever have a taste for doughnuts, it has to be Krispy Kreme. They're light, soft, and stay that way for hours. Unlike other doughnut places that are dry, dense, hard, and heavy - that can be used as a weapon 5 hours after getting them. Those were the doughnuts I grew up having. But I'm older and wiser now, and can make my own decisions, and buy my own doughnuts! I stick to the basics: chocolate iced glaze, glazed, raspberry filled, and powdered strawberry filled. But every now and then, they have special flavors that are only available for a limited time. They didn't have the Nutella doughnuts even they came out - I'm still upset about that, hence, I'm still talking about it. Every First Friday of the month, they have chocolate glazed doughnuts - the entire doughnut is covered in chocolate ! Yuuuuummmm!!! Check first before going because not all locations do it on First Fridays anymore. Today, I went and got their Biscoff (cookie butter) doughnuts. They have 3 kinds: Biscoff Iced, Cookie Butter Cream Filled, and Biscoff Cheesecake. I tried the Biscoff Iced, and Cookie Butter Cream (errr...Kreme) Filled. They were good. Worker at the register seemed irritated that we were there despite it being 50 minutes until closing. We came in because the hot light was on and they were making fresh donuts. We didn't get a free hot light donut which was annoying but whatever I'm not going to complain about not getting a free donut. Located east of Camino Al Norte and Craig Rd, it's located right next to Wendy's. They are always making fresh batches of donuts and I love the warm taste on the first bite. The dining area is clean and the staff are friendly. Recently, I ordered a dozen original donuts and another dozen mixed with Chocolate and Strawberry sprinkles. They tasted great and fresh.
