Hi! The other day, I was looking at reviews and realized I needed to schedule an appointment for my child. I called this office for the first time back in February 2026. The front desk staff was very helpful, offering me a same-day appointment and providing clear directions to their office. They even texted me the information, which was something that other clinics didn't do. I followed up regarding a fracture, and Rosa was incredibly helpful in finding an orthopedic specialist for my son before the weekend, since he needed a cast on his leg. I just wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received. Remember to treat the staff the way you want to be treated; I know some people can be rude. Thank you, Rosa, for helping me get a walk-in appointment for my son. I see you can really make things happen when it's important! read more

I am writing this review solely to warn other patients, especially parents, about the front office staff at this practice. My experience was so negative and damaging that I left the practice immediately after my second visit and found a new doctor. My child was suffering from a severe, recurrent stomach illness. During a flare-up where she was actively vomiting, I needed a doctor's note for the school. The doctor (Dr. [K]) agreed. However, when I arrived at the office, the promised note was not ready. The woman in charge at the front desk was not just unhelpful; she was dismissive and medically irresponsible. She told me I should just take my vomiting, sick child to school and that she would "be fine." As a parent in crisis, this was the last thing I needed to hear. It showed a complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic understanding. I did not feel my child's health or my concerns were taken seriously by the people managing the office. A healthcare practice is only as good as its entire team, and this team failed catastrophically at the front line. We saw Dr. [K] twice. The doctor was adequate, but no doctor can provide good care when the office staff creates such a hostile and distrustful environment. I walked out and changed doctors. Please be warned: if you need support, empathy, or competence from the front desk, you will not find it here. The stress they add to an already stressful medical situation is not worth it. There are better-run practices out there. read more

Such a great doctor I've had her since I was very young. The only problem is I don't know why sometimes the reception is so very rude and they charge you for every little thing which is very awkward because other clinics don't charge only if you miss an appointment but even for just a copy for a School they wanna charge you $20. It's ridiculous. read more

Horrible experience! Front desk is rude as hell. I used to feel anxious before calling them and let me tell you only 1 time my call went through.otherwise it used to go to voicemail. Last time i called my daughter was not doing well and i left voicemail around 11.30 am but nobody called me back that day or the next day. We ended up taking her to new pediatrician and she was diagnosed with failure to thrive and was admitted to ER. Being a first time mom I was horrified. I will never recommend this place to anyone else. Also i feel doctor was taking things casually with us. My baby was breathing fast and noisy so i showed so many videos to doctor but every time she used to say "babies do that". Later at ER we found out she had heart condition and she needs operation for that. This really sucks! read more

Front Desk is horrible. I am trying for an appointment with Dr. Krishnamshetty and emailed all the required documents and information of my son and looking forward for an appointment with the doctor. The front office admin Ms. Rosa is very inefficient and does not call back for appointment request. Not sure if Dr. Krishnamshetty is reading the reviews on help. There is no way to contact the doctor directly. Not sure how she is treating her patients. read more

Dr. Prasanna is amazing! She was once my pediatrician up until I turned 18 and had to switch over to a different doctor. It was great all those years when you would walk in and wait atleast 10minutes max to get into the room and also about 10minutes to see the doctor. Now that I take my nieces there it is insane . I called to let them know i was running late. i was there by 9:12 when my appointment was 9:10 and i waited about 25minutes for the medical assistant to open the door. Maybe they are understaffed or something but atleast if the medical assistant there apologized or seemed like she actually wanted to be there, I would completely understand, but she opens the door finally , not even a "hello" and proceeds . It is absurd how long the wait time is now. We have to wait outside to be able to be seated inside , we aren't even allowed to wait inside . Hopefully Dr. Prasanna sees this and does something about her medical assistants she has because she really is a great doctor. read more

1 star is simply too generous! The Dr. is okay, but the front staff is unserious. Seriously! I completely understand to have 1 parent come due to covid, but why is it not told beforehand? Also have to wait in the hallway until the staff is ready to open the door? What is the point of a waiting room?! I knocked twice, and the girl said "this sign says to knock once and then I'll be with you shortly." That is so ridiculous. The door should always be open. One never knows if a parent or child is disabled, extremely sick, etc. The staff makes it impossible to actually take them serious. EVERY SINGLE TIME, I tried to get my child seen they always dismiss it saying he'll be able to fight it on his own. It's sad. Not to mention, the staff did not want to schedule an appt with my son at time because of my insurance. When I called the insurance, there was no hold or anything. I work in healthcare, and all offices should be accessible to everyone no matter the case. This is a poor excuse of a pediatric office! Dr. Krishnamshetty, I hope you take all of these bad reviews into consideration, and get rid of your front desk staff. Completely unprofessional, and unsympathetic. HIRE people who look forward to meeting children and do not give stank face every time they open the door. Cheap staff is not worth your reputation! read more

I'm pissed off to begin with, I had several instances and yet I'm patient because of the doctor being good. The cheap staff are just outright rude, they make sure you are pissed off with them. They are so uneducated and unfit for the job, this makes me mad at the doctor who employs these ediiots, not knowing where her head is. There's Yelp for a reason. People don't come to Yelp to Review until there's so much piss on them, so better read it Dr. Krishnamshetty Prasanna L. Here's what happened to me, I was told I missed an appointment and charged 20$. She convineantly don't have a receipt to give, then she writes it in another sheet and signs it. The downside is she tried calling and I didn't pick up, yah this might be true because in bay area people are busy. They could have voicemailed or sent a email reminder about upcoming appointment, none was sent. Previously, I went in to this hospital after calling in for an appointment. Then after walking in with a seriously burning fever of 106 deg for kid, the staff says no doctor and she has gone to vacation I'm like what the!, Then after a while of yelling she(fat lady staff) checks and says it is just 99 and it is normal. Then I had to rush to the urgent care near by where I was told it is a viral fever and was prescribed antibiotics. I wish that this review will be helpful for the folks to choose their pediatrician properly. read more

It's nothing like feeling like your walking on eggshells when you walking in the office. The front staff are rude and very unprofessional. I dread making my kids appointments or when they number pops up in my phone to answer it! I will be looking for another doctors office! read more

The front girl receptionist is very rude! But l had it with her until l told her something this morning! Dr. Krishnamshetty is amazing, they need a new receptionist it seems that she hates her job. She is not friendly at all with anyone. read more

I TOTALLY agree with most of the comments... Dr. She is really good and does a great job... she really cares for her patients. However, the staff... ugh.. I never really felt like they liked doing their job. One of them seems to try to be polite.. but it totally feels fake. Today was it for me... Yesterday I called, wondering if my daughter had an ppt for 6 month check up. She says it passed and we missed it. Also states she called and left voicemail... which I never got. So okay im let it slide... I could have done a better job at keeping up with the appointment and no rely on them.. An appt for today was made and she says I have to pay $20 dlrs for missed appt. Ok.. whatever.. the dumb rules... okay I will pay. I show up to appt and... when trying to pay (give her my debit card) tells me only cash but then askes the other if she can still charge me.. (other lady says no) like okay how inconvinient, they have the machine but want me to come back after appt to pay. Still... trying to stay put together. By the way I come with my baby in arms and my 2yr old in stroller sleeping. Then it's my turn to go inside... she tells me.. no stroller inside.. my baby is sleeping.. she say no stroller inside.. (rules) so at this point im so MAD and annoyed.. just wanting to leave.. but my baby's appt and her shots come first. But to make matters WORST and making me NOT WANTING TO EVER SET FOOT HERE.. she say. "Im going to bring another patient in while you wake him up" SO RUDE!! Did she not see me not being able to hold a second child. So sorry Dr. Shetty you are great, but until you get new staff or train them in what is common sense... that sometimes rules have exceptions. Like I am in a pediatrics office.. do they not know or care about the importance of naps.. an/or disrupting a childs nap... just because of a dumb rule.. which I dnt know why if the stroller fits just fine in the rooms So now I had a very cranky child during the visit.. so I could not hear what the doctor was telling... which to top it ALL OFF it was not even Dr. Shetty because she is on vacation. So dissapointed.. So until better trained or new staff... I guess Dr. Shetty will be getting no so great reviews. (Or loose more patients) Now in search for a new doctor for my kids... where hopefully they care a little more for my babies well being. read more

Horrible the front desk is so rude the two girls in the front are very rude the doctor she sweet and nice but her front desk ladies got to go there so horrible never did I ever experience this going to my kids doctor's appointment but I will for sure never bring my kids here And top it of the lady that took to weigh my daughter tell my daughter all rude get done your mom calling you I wasn't even calling my daughter rude rude they don't even deserve one star read more

We love Dr Krishnamshetty. Always so attentive and caring to my sons. Also, the office staff is great! Rosa, is always willing to push us in with an appointment when needed thanks for all that you do read more

Love this office and the staff are great, doctor is great and careful and the staff are very busy but at the end they are good at their job!remember you treat them how you want to get treated at the end they are the ones that help us in different ways. read more

This review is not for Dr Krishnamshetty, it's for the front desk staff. Doctor is amazing, very sweet and patient. As far as the front desk girl goes, she is very rude and disrespectful. The doctor had booked my appointment for 1030am and apparently it was moved to 10. The girl said she had told me that.... I don't not recall ever hearing that! She said she'd "go ahead and see me this time" oh gee thanks! This may not seem like a big deal, and honestly it's not. However she's always very short and rude. It sucks that this is what you're greeted with when walking into such an amazing doctor's office. There should be two options for reviewing this office. One for the doctor and one for the front desk. I'm sure it would be 5 stars for doctor and 1 for the staff! read more

THIS CLINIC IS ALL ABOUT MONEY. This clinic is the worst clinic you can take your kids to, I signed my newborn up here when she was born, her normal check ups were fine, I have no complaints, my baby is now 15 months old and this clinic has pissed me off so many times, in December my baby got sick twice and both times I called the receptionist rudely told me that I had to take her to urgent care clinic because Dr. Krishnamshetty was out on vacation and couldn't see her. Another time I called on a Wednesday and told them I wanted to make an appointment for on a Friday and receptionist told me I have to call a day before I want the appointment. I said "ok" and called Thursday only for her to tell me that they were booked. Why the hell couldnt you just take my appointment when I asked 2 days before then?! Recently my baby is sick and I called to make an appointment for her doctor to just do a quick check up and her receptionist tells me she can't see her because her medical was discontinued, I said "ok" and quickly called medical to resolve the problem and even though I told the receptionist that I was taking care of it and it was a process but I have already provided medical with all the information they needed and it'll be reactivated in a couple of days, the receptionist still refused to accept an appointment for us. Oh and one last thing, my daughter missed her 1 year check up because I was so annoyed with this clinic to even take her, so it has been about 9 months since Dr. Krishnamshetty has seen my baby and not once did she care to call to check in on her and ask how she's doing, oh but I call to make an appointment for her this one time and butch ass receptionist has the audacity to tell me I owe $20 because she missed her appointment that one time !!! Pretty fucking annoyed at this point. read more

My first time at these office and the cleanse of the office was excellent. Attend well and was well greeted by Rosa and the doctor herself.

Flu season is back so ofc my daughter got sick and finding a business with same day appointment and that doesn't charge an obscene Amount is difficult but this business made it quick and easy 10/10 would recommend read more

I recommend this doctors office The doctor and the front desk girls are really nice and ready to help when you need them

Dr. Krishnamshetty and her team (Araceli & Rosa) are amazing!! If you need a pediatrician for your family Dr. Krishnamshetty is the BEST! I was referred to her since my 6 year old Elijah was born and I have no regrets. I even transferred my older son Keanu to have her care for his Medical needs too. They are all loving, caring and willing to go above ane beyond to make your child's experience the best one. Who wants to see the doctor? No one does right? My boys love their visits with Dr. Krishnamshetty. read more

The pediatrician is a very good doctor, I have been taking my kids there for years but the assistants always have a very bad attitude. The office should fire the assistants for their behavior and consider getting new assistants with a better professional behavior. read more

No other doctor I would trust than her, always available and caring, super helpful friendly staff too!!

Dr. Krishnamshetty is amazing!!! She's been my oldest sons Doctor since he was a year and my 2 little ones since they were born but because of my job I took on Kaiser for a about a year and it was the worst thing ever. They never knew what to do when my son with asthma was sick!! They just sucked! It made me appreciate Dr. Krishnamshetty even more!! She's seriously wonderful!! Can't say the same for staff!! Recently she got new girls and one of them is super sweet and professional and the other one is just HORRIBLE! There was a mix up somewhere for my boys physicals and I'll be the first person to admit I'm wrong but when she's saying that they called and left a message with a stinky attitude AND they really didn't leave any message!! That pisses me off and than says "usually a RESPONSIBLE MOM keeps track of her kids appointments" who even says that!!! She had the worst attitude ever for customer service!! She should stick to the back and not be allowed to answer phone calls!!! read more

First off let me Just say the two girls at the front desk (Rosa and Araceli)are the best they are very helpful, sweet, and professional They always try their best to set an appointment for my kids when their feeling under the weather. I've never had an issue with either of them. So I find it odd seeing all these post about them. Anyways.. I've brought both of my girls here since birth and my kids and I love Dr.K ! Any questions or concerns I may have shes more then happy to answer very helpful. Shes great with my kids(: read more

First things first, the doctor is good and answered all my querries patiently and satisfactorily. But the staff, are the most incompetent, careless, pathetic and unapologetic people Ive ever met!! They made me go back all the way, to the clinic,to stamp a form, which they charged me for filling out in the first place. They forgot the stamp it after filling it out. God forbid, they apologize for it. Secondly, they forgot to add a test to the list of tests to be done. Mind you, this is for my 2 year old daughter. And the lady at the desk cooly says " Its ok, I can give you a form now, u can get it done tommorow". When I was just done with giving her blood, the very same day! When I asked her if she could call and request the lab to add this test to the list of tests, She said," Its a company, a 1-800 number. It'll take too long." Well if she had done her job right the first time around, my LO wouldnt have to be traumatised again getting her blood drawn on 2 consecutive days!! And their reason, for this is because, they have lots of work to do, not just fill out forms!! BTW, I was the one who figured out that she hadnt added the test and asked her about it when I went to get the form stamped. So if I hadnt asked her, my daughter would loose her spot at preschool, where she was enrolling, because schools require T.B tests done!! I lost it, and said, well if ur charging me for something, you need to do it right. That shut them up!! As if that wasnt enough, on my way to the elevator, I checked to see if everything was ok, and realised, she had requested the TB test for my son and not my daughter!! Heights of incompetence!! Had to go back and have her give me a form for my daughter this time. Im wondering how she got the job there! The ladies behave, as if they are the doctors and not Dr Shetty!! read more

Not the best place to take a new born or 1-2 weeks old baby to this place. Doctor Shetty: No complaints. She is patient, soft spoken and answers your questions. Very good doctor. Front desk: Lazy with an attitude. Agree with other yelpers that Front desk is bad/super bad. Except for one person who is good and receptive, other two does not give a damn. Even if we leave a voicemail, they don't respond and Urgent care is the option given even during business hours! time to jump ship. Front desk staff need to be trained well or fired! read more

She has the greatest quality one can expect from a pediatrician. Patience! She listens to and answers all your questions about your child or any general questions you have. Her demeanor is calm and reassuring. She is also quite gentle with babies. My son has been seeing Dr Krishnamshetty since his birth and I am very happy to have found her. He needed special care as he was a preemie and Dr Krishnamshetty has been very attentive to our needs and cares. I would highly recommend her. My only complaint is that the rest of her staff (especially the reception staff) are not very friendly (to the point of being a bit rude). However they never bungled up anything for me, so I guess they are efficient but not trained very well in customer service. 1 star off for the poor reception staff. read more

This is one of the worst office i have ever taken my kidz to. My son was seen and the Dr. Ordered blood work, when i went in to get the blood work done @ quest diagnostics, the staff had not send in the slip of the order. I called them and mention that i was @ the lab and that i did not have the slip, the receptionist said that i had to go to the the Dr. Office get the slip and then go back to the lab. I told her can you just fax it because i was at the lab center she said no you have to come and pick up a copy. That is one of the stupidest thing i have been told that they dont fax or email. If i could i will rate them 0 stars. Dear staff please start doing your job right you get paid to help the patient not to be rude and tell people you dont fax or email what kind of office are you, and if you dont have patient's you will have no job. Take all of the rating in consideration. Not coming back very bad customer service. read more
