My husband had an appt with the dentist office next door, he accidentally went into this office…read moreand they pretended as if he was in the correct place. They took my husband's information and took X-rays, and of course he did not have an appt because he wasn't supposed to be there so they "rescheduled him." I hope that they don't bill my insurance!! And my husband was super late to his real appointment! ... so they wasted his time! Definitely, they are dishonest!

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with this office's billing practices, per today's visit for a crown…read morereplacement. An original price was quoted 2 weeks ago prior to today's visit. A $150.00 surcharge was added upon checkout, without any notification or explanation, none of which is covered by my insurance, so I am told. I have had several billing issues in the past with New Rochelle Dental Arts, ALL of which were brushed aside as computer glitches, or other malfunctions. Today put this longstanding customer over the top. You DO NOT treat a customer this way, particularly one who has been with you for several years. As of this writing, I have STILL not received communication from any single individual in billing, as I requested. Perhaps, it will matter to New Rochelle Dental Arts when they see they have lost me as a client, along with four other family members. NRDA has proven to me once and for all they CANNOT be trusted. I am disgusted and am just giving the general public a heads up to BEWARE!!!!! Shame on you, NEW ROCHELLE DENTAL ARTS......Hope you are happy to lose a total of 5 clients over your thievery from today!!!! You deserve EVERY SINGLE BIT OF NEGATIVE PUBLICITY generated in this review. TRUST ME, I COULD SAY FAR WORSE!!!!! GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!

Trustworthy, caring, thorough!…read more My dentist recommended me to the practice, telling me he'd seen superb results in people with deep periodontal pockets and infected tissue like mine. I knew going in that I had some serious issues; I'd been hearing for years I needed to see a periodontist, but it takes everything for me to get to the regular dentist -- they terrify me. Now, though... it was clear, from the pain in my mouth and just to look at my teeth that I needed serious help. So I went. Everyone is friendly, informative, the vibe in the place is welcoming -- you can tell people like working there. Dr. Cote is very informative and positive. He set me up for deep cleaning to try to treat the problems and said it looked like I could keep my teeth. Yay! First deep cleaning I had a hygienist -- John, I believe -- who was very gentle. Second deep cleaning was Dr. Asuaga, who was thorough; no pain and all went well, but John was perhaps too gentle and Dr. Asuaga was determined to get every last little bit. Alas, it was not enough, which I was expecting. So now it is time for laser gum surgery to manage the problem. Pricey, but... I paid upfront because I trust they will help me keep my teeth. Dr. Cote said this will solve the problem (provided I up my dental hygiene habits and go to the dentist more often), and I believe him. No one was trying to up-sell me. Dr. Cote said if the procedure was one I could not afford, I could go every 3 months and keep up with cleanings while I saved. No pressure to sign on to a procedure my insurance won't cover. The only real vibe I get is that he'd like me to keep my teeth -- and that is what you want from your dentist. I will update when laser surgery is done, but I do not anticipate any stars being removed.

I go here for deep periodontal cleanings. Dr. Cote is amazing and explains everything he's about to…read moredo with professionalism and a sense of humor. Great if you're nervous about going to the dentist. Check with the receptionist to make sure your insurance covers everything before booking appointments.
