I came in for a cleaning that I get every 3 months now at 88 smiles Designs Dentist. I used to come…read moreevery 6 months for a cleaning. First of all a week before my appointment comes up. I am being sent texts every other day sometimes twice a day with a reminder that my appointment is coming up and if I don't respond back saying I would be there. I would be charged $100 after I say yes I would be there via text. The texts continue with the same thing following day and reminding me of my copay to which I already know about which is very annoying all the days and numerous texts I received about this appointment even on day of few hours before. At this point I am annoyed with all these texts that I received the whole week before my appointment. Then when I get there I get my X ray, teeth cleaned which they do good with. The problem is the Doctor Edly he has me sitting and waiting for him to check in my mouth to make sure everything is OK gums, teeth etc along with looking at my Xray. I've sat in the chair for over half and hour after I'm done with my cleaning to check my teeth and he sends his other workers to stall and tell me he is coming over soon and soon becomes never. After tge half hour is up he sends his workers to tell me he is working on someone else's mouth and can't come over and that everything is fine with my teeth without ever coming over to look at my teeth/gums. He has done this many times to me already. I can't remember the last time ive seen this Dentist in person throughout the years. Mind you me he's in the next room and refused to come and seems to make himself busy everytime I come in. So they text and call me all week long to come in but then when I'm there does not complete my dental visit. This is very unprofessional and I've never been treated like this before by any other dentist before in past. It's bad enough I already feel queasy when going there because it looks and feels like a former funeral parlor there. But I must say that even a mortician at a funeral parlor would treat me much better than I've been treated by this Dr at this Dentist office. I don't know what's the problem here but you'll definitely lost me as a patient here. I'm done and moving forward somewhere better than this place.

I personally have never been serviced here, however both my sisters have & this particular day, my…read moremother had an appointment. We got here about an hour early & it says they open at 9am however staff didn't start to arrive til 9:30am. My mother & I were first, however another person came about 9:45 & his appointment was at 9:30. Once we were able to go in, a couple more people started to come & we were wondering "what time is their appointment" because my mother's was at 10am. I heard a woman who came in say her appointment was also at 10 & there is only one dentist at this office to my knowledge, so they double book appointments, which I'm not really a fan of. My mother also informed me that if you cancel your appointment within 24hrs there is a $100 charge, which I'm not a fan of that either. With life happening in this new world we live in with Covid existing, I just feel some grace should be given. I won't be coming here for services for those reasons. The staff was polite & professional which is always appreciated, but they should be getting there on time or change the opening hours as well as don't double book.

The dentist was interested in advancing his practice not my oral healt. I was referred to two other practices to help him build his client base not to advance care for me. In one visit with another dentist I was able to eat without the denture floating around in my mouth and actually eat steak again. I cannot warn you more strongly you will not get good care here.

Even when I was between different job positions, different dental plans and Dr Otto wasn't within my network, I waited- until my next dental plan did list him as my in-network dentist. Staff is always excellent, from the dental hygienist- Euris to the receptionist Daisy to Dr. Otto's Assistant- who's name escapes me- down to his wife-who always takes care of billing. Dr. Otto is a wonder. Always left out of here content with the few dental procedures I've gotten. He's a sharp shooter but with a cool sense of humor and will let me know what needs to be done and how to maintain my choppers. I don't know why I used to have this weird thought of walking into a dingy office and crummy tools. Not here! His office is inviting, rooms are pleasant and everything is spic and span. And what tops it- every time you visit, he'd have a real cool music playlist going: from Merengue to even Coldplay to Worldly music. Love! Really like the expertise he's been bringing this long. And by the way...first name Otto. Last name González. See you in 6 months!

As soon as I called his assistant told me I could come in right away, looked up insurance info on the spot and assured me they would do whatever they could to help me. I got to the office and it was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and organized with plenty of seating. I met Dr. Chan and we coordinate the paperwork quickly and I was immediately seated. Dr. Chan and his assistant evaluated me quickly and explained my issue in perfect detail as well as my options. He was incredibly honest and straight forward and I really appreciated that.
