The feel in the gallery is spacious and welcoming, and the art was so unlike other things I've seen. Some items are pretty pricey but it's great to browse. I would come here again for sure.

These exhibits will rotate from local up and comers to established artists for many years. Beyond the gallery this is a phenomenal place for all of your framing needs. As my wife and I travel to various destinations local art is our souvenir of choice with our walls in our house telling a story of our adventures. Joy does an incredible job understanding our style and willingly accepting any challenge we throw at her. We have now had close to 20 pieces framed with little direction other than big picture vision. She has never failed to delight us!! Lastly, Joy the owner is reason enough to visit. They have a solid footprint of space available, some of which houses art that you can peruse and purchase, some of which serves as communal space for events and such. Really cool! They had a "kink and draw" event going on simultaneously while we were there. It was nice of them to give us the space to vibe and do our thing. I noticed there was even a kitchen area in the back. Bathrooms were kind of down-on-their-luck but serviceable. Parking around here is atrocious though, especially during peak hours like a Friday night, fair warning if you intend to drive here.

I went to see it the next day in person and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful the space was - the art was so unique and stunning! Every now and again they have exhibits with showing open to the public that are a lot of fun. Viewing art, sipping wine and meeting fellow artists, designers and art admirers is always best when in a welcoming environment. Even when they aren't having open exhibits you're able to pop in and have a look around and make purchases. Always something unique and eye-catching here. They've done it right. Am I ever glad I followed the sign; otherwise, I would have remained on the main drag of Butler and never ventured into this lovely oasis. It's in an old house that is charming in itself. You make your way from room to room on the first floor. The day we were here, there were books in the front with the author present to sign them (gift number one), hand knit scarves next in line with the maker present (gifts number two and three), handmade earrings further back (gift number four), and artwork hung on the walls in the hallway. Everywhere I turned there were eye-catching handmade pieces. Definitely on my list to re-visit for those one-of-a kind locally made items.

However, their jewelry is priced low enough that my mom can indulge every once in a while. If you're into locally made, handcrafted art, it's definitely worth a look. The place is rather inconspicuous on the outside but on the inside it's a beautiful Victorian era house brimming with local art and behind the counter is a very nice lady that'll answer any questions you might have.

Randy is a very nice man and it's wonderful the gift he has given Pittsburgh. His art is very eclectic and lots of fun. It's so much fun to walk around exploring all the things he has. I also love how colorful the building and all his things are. It really brightens up the neighborhood. He has a colorful and positive personality so it's a great representation of him. I also love all the murals on everything. It's fun to see the collections of different items he has and the painted steps. It's fun to take pictures with family and friends. Maser Galleries is excellent for framing. We had a page from an old magazine with artwork that…read moremeant a lot to us. Brenda helped us frame it beautifully. She had great ideas that we never would've come up with if we'd tried to design it ourselves. It took four or five days, and the price was very reasonable. When we picked up the framed piece, they had created a pocket in the back and tucked in some information about the magazine (Harper's) explaining its cultural and historical significance. It was very thoughtful and we really appreciated it. While we were in the gallery for framing, we loved looking around at the paintings. They are striking, lovely, and accessibly priced. We visited during the pandemic (December 2020) and were grateful and at ease because of the common-sense precautions they took. Brenda wore a mask the entire time, without mentioning it. She took care to stand back from us as we looked at the framing materials. She propped open the door for air flow.

The staff is welcoming and the receptions are well managed. This week I attended a performance by the artist Vanessa German and it was a terrific event. The gallery supported Vanessa's idea for writing a series of poems for individuals in the community. On social media she requested"ingredients" for the poem and at the gallery Vanessa read each poem to the person after they came forward and sat in a chair. Parking can be tricky, as Braddock Ave can get busy, however I usually can find a space.

If you are with a large group, I would suggest doubling the contribution, since it is really such a cool experience and I love supporting local artists. Everyone in our group were in awe of all the taxidermy and the creativity of the house. The tour is private and the couple who owns Trundle Manor limits the tour to eight people maximum.
