This place has definitely grown in popularity over the years. It has also expanded in size. They have plenty of activities for kids and adults as well as plenty of food options which they never had before. The market is great especially for the cider doughnuts that keep coming out fresh all day long. If you need pumpkins they have plenty of options from small to large and all colors orange to white. We've been here a couple times, as a couple, and as a family with a baby. Overall, it's a great place for a day's outing. General admission includes little rides, the animals, corn maze, and hay rides. This used to be a la carte, and for just adults it was great. There is no minimum age for children, so sadly we still paid to carry our baby. You can still shop at the farm market for pumpkins, gourds, apples, coffee, donuts, and corn without paying the general admission fee. However, BBQ food truck, chocolate dipped strawberries, and soft pretzels are only inside the gate. Pumpkins and hard squash in 2022 are $0.49/lb. Parking is plentiful and we enjoyed being in a small crowd at noon on Sunday. TL;DR: Good outing for families with grade school kids. read more

5 Star experience. Our first time here. I hate County Line as they are way too commercial for me. My usual place was closed :( Windy Ridge Farms-love them. So I set out to find another place to get our yearly pumpkins. Admission is free. There are animals to pet and feed (25 cents per handful). We loved them all: llamas, goats, ponies, horses, cows, bunnies, pigs, & chicks (not for petting). My 4 year old rode his first pony. I was so proud. There is a children's train to ride & manual train cars for kids to hand pedal on a track (that was really cool). We planned on riding out to the pumpkin patch, but after waiting so long (a private party had taken over one of the tractor/wagons) we decided to just get from their enormous selection there. We filled up a wheel barrow with huge pumpkins, gourds, & a couple bags of popcorn. Our total for the whole thing was $56. Impressive, when you see how much we got. The environment was laid back. We were lucky to go on a sunny day with warm weather, so the setting was perfect. I'm already looking forward to going back next year. read more

I've been taking my kids there every year. This place never disappoints. This year they added couple food trucks. This is and always been the REAL PUMPKIN PATCH- everything is growing right there and you literally get to pull your pumpkins of the vine. I really appreciate the hard work this family puts in to make the experience always great for everyone. Although it's not pumpkin season I really enjoy this family ran pumpkin patch it's a perfect spot for the youngsters & A great place to create family memories! Some call them cider donuts or apple donuts or even pumpkin but they can make or break the place. Kregels is still making these the right way unlike a very large (no name needed) orchard that everyone goes to that has become more tourist trap than orchard. I have visited this pumpkin patch several times in the years and it's always been just okay. I will not be going this year after hearing how unprepared they are for an emergency on their property. Their treatment to emergency personnel and lack of concern for their guests is appalling. It's all about the profit and not the safety of their guests. read more

We took the whole family, 4 adults 1 child. The staff was great. The barn yard activities were fun. The animals were incredible. The pumpkins were healthy. I haven't tried the apple cider or pumpkin butter yet but the donuts were the best I've had since I was a kid! I'm not sure who had a better time the adults or the kid. So much fun for the whole family! Yes, they charge admission, but I believe it's a great value. You get to go on the rides and attractions as many times as you want. $5 for adults does not seem unreasonable to me, I spend more on coffee at Starbucks. The new slide is a fun addition. This place is a great place to go for an few hour visit! The attractions were simple, yet FUN! The lines were short, even on a weekend! Kids could run around the place and still be in view of the parents. There were a lot of neat things to keep us busy and we will definitely be coming back here year after year. It was cheap to get in also. I have no complaints. You can get the big orchard experience for less, with less hassle. I know this isn't an orchard but everything else was about the same! read more

Good pumpkin patch. You can pet lots of goats, there's pony rides and 2 corn mazes. Hayrides leave every half hour. My only complaint is the way they charge. There's no admission... BUT. There is. It's a shame you have to date with one star in order to write a review. I was excited to go with my great grand children to the pumpkin patch, I even took my walker so I could walk the whole area, but the price is 6 bucks for seniors and it doesn't matter if your going to just watch you have to have a wrist band. When I asked why, the first young man kind of snickered and said it just the way it is. I went to the door and told them I couldn't go on any rides. She and the boy at the table were rude and laughed at me. It seems the commercialization of their patch has made them very rude and too big for their britches. read more

We have been going to Kregel's for many years and unfortunately this will be our last year. It has become very commercial, charging admission fees. We spent $70 on pumpkins and corn stalks to then get charged to look at a goat. We will be looking for a smaller, non-commercialized pumpkin patch to go to with our boys next year. The country farm charm has been replaced with long lines to buy a wristband. I think the cost was $7. Pumpkins are sold by the lb.....then when heavy pumpkins lugged to cashier, one is curtly told cashier has recently had surgery and you, the customer, need heave the pumpkins up on counter. This was also said to a pregnant woman with a close to 50 lb pumpkin.....Kregel's may wish to rethink staffing choices, organization and costs. I went there today for my son's field trip and we had a great experience! The staff were friendly and courteous. We paid $6.50 per person over 2 which is cheapest admission to a pumpkin patch that we've been to. It included a hay ride, giant slide, scooter cars, corn stalk teepee, petting zoo, and fun activities. We got a pumpkins for the kids(additional pumpkins were .39 cents per pound) They had a cute gift shop with delicious donuts, kettle corn, apple cider, bottled pop, apples, gourds, fall decor, homemade soaps, chocolates and candles. My son has had a field trip for his preschool for the past 2 years. This is a nice pumpkin patch! You can ride a tractor out to the patch and choose your own or buy within the barn. They have apples, gords, and lots other things for sale in the barn as well. They have a petting zoo that you can feed the animals(bring a lot of quarters)! They have a barrel ride that my kids love! This year they even added a giant slide that really wore my kids out! I highly recommend this pumpkin patch! read more

We always loved going here. However, we will not go again. They decided to change their set up and you are forced to pay per adult and child to go to every event they have - regardless if you are too old to go in that ride or not. My children are 15 and 13 and don't want to do the slide or the train - which they wouldn't even fit on. We just wanted to pick pumpkins and go out to the field - but you can't do that without paying full price for every event. I think this place got a little too big for its worth. We ultimately ended up spending over $80 to get pumpkins and pay for the only event we did which was the only one not included in the price to get in. read more

I been to many pumpkin patches and this is by far the best one ever. Smaller than some but very nice, from the hayride to the apple spice doughnuts. The slingshot was awesome, (a few repairs needed on the slingshot but, one of three was still fine) mini train was great (my 21 month old loved it), the train from kiddie land was nice, pumpkin patch was nice (a little rough but still better than most). Last time coming here. Now you have to spend $5 for each adult and more for children to ride out to the field to pick a pumpkin that you have to pay for on top of that. I have tween/teens, they aren't going to go on the barrel ride or pedal cars, we have no interest in that. We just want to ride to the field to pick a pumpkin. Instead we had to stay inside a fenced area and 'pick' pumpkins out of piles. read more
