Especially for the cost ($16K) for kitchen countertops. The product isn't what they advertised (defective). I wish I would have known this information before I chose to go with this company. After many months of delay (4 months), the countertops were finally installed and one of the pieces was broken/cracked during the first installation. Although this product is advertised as being "indestructible" that is definitely not the case. So I had to wait two weeks for them to re-fabricate the piece. Leaving no accessible kitchen for 2 weeks. Then instead of fabricating the piece, they decided to cut corners and add a seam, which is very unsightly. Which was unauthorized and a breach of contract. The defective countertops also need brackets now because of this. Porcelanosa doesn't stand by their work and hasn't offered to repair or fix any of this either. The countertops also contained multiple scratches from installation and the use of a razor blade. The overall product does not look like the showroom quality that you see and I have attached pictures. The customer service by Porcelanosa has been slow to react, rude, and not acceptable for anyone to deal with. Especially for a company that states they are a luxury brand. This whole experience has been anything, but a luxury experience. It's been a disaster. I am still waiting on them to resolve this issue, but I am not holding my breath. I just don't want anyone else to suffer through the nightmare I have experienced.

I was looking to replace my dated damaged laminate floors in my condo in June 2019. Patricia Forman helped me pick out some gorgeous luxury vinyl tile. She explained to me that this would be a good choice for me because I own a small puppy dog and it is considered a very low maintenance material that is water resistant!!!!! Basically the material looks just like wood but it is "commercial grade". They have commercial grade lvt which is more resistant to scratches than regular lvt that you see in other stores. This actually works very well for my lifestyle and is cost-effective and beautiful. Patricia provided me with some floor samples that I could take home and think about. Then in June I purchased the tile. She suggested an amazing team that came and completed the project to perfection in several days. I absolutely love my new floors!!!!!

We called to enlist his services at our home. He was prompt to come out and bid the job. He advised his schedule was busy and he would be able to schedule us in one month. Our first mistake was he was highest by far of 3 additional companies bids after he disappeared. He had his "partner" Adrian come out to survey the job as Florin himself would be in Texas when the job started. We scheduled the date. Adrian never showed, red flag number one. He apologized and rescheduled and came over and surveyed the job. Adrian offered floor trim services as well. Asked for a quote and was advised Florin would send estimate.... Never received. Clarified later that work was still scheduled, assured yes. Florin messaged me 5 days before wood delivery for acclimation and needed deposit. I stated he could come at any time for check. He informed me he was in Texas and could not come for check he requested nearly 10,000 dollars via Zelle. I informed him if that was the case 1. Zelle did not allow that much money to be sent. 2. His intuit quickbook estimate is not a contract and would need a signed contract to send money. He assured me he had 5 star reviews. This is how he did things. He also stated "if this job fell through it would have no impact on his company". I offered to remedy the situation by drafting a Docusign contract. He was not comfortable signing the contract as he was unsure of the local and state regulations regarding installation of flooring in Illinois. When we insisted on a contract and refused to Zelle him without one he stopped responding. Save yourself the trouble Florin is not for your floors!

You know, the ones where they show the before and after of a kitchen, bathroom, etc.? It always looks so easy on TV, and they miraculously get everything done within the hour! Real life ain't like that, folks. Every home improvement task we have attempted has taken way longer than we thought, and cost way more money than we had planned. Sure, you still save over hiring a contractor, and there is that feeling of satisfaction when all is said and done. But realistically, those HGTV shows edit out a lot of blood, sweat and tears. And cost overruns. Anyhow, I'm getting off subject. We look to save money on materials whenever we do home improvement. Plus, I try to support anybody other than the local Big Box stores. You know, the ones that seem to have a monopoly on EVERYTHING home related. (I'm talking to you Home Depot) They usually have lousy customer service, to boot. Well APEX flooring is just the opposite of those big box stores. Easily located off the Dan Ryan in Pilsen, they have a private parking lot attached. The store is small and easily navigated, but packed with a large assortment of floor coverings, including ceramic, wood, cork, and others. Lowell, the owner, is pleasant, friendly and a joy to deal with; he's also extremely knowledgeable concerning flooring and it's installation. I found their prices to be extremely competitive, and they even have some of their most popular tiles in stock, which is fantastic. Choosing and purchasing our new kitchen tile was such a pleasant experience at APEX, I can't wait to finish our kitchen remodel and figure out what home improvement project we can tackle next! [ just don't tell my husband that yet; give him a chance to recover ; ) ]

We have dealt with Apex in the past and their service continues to be truly excellent SERVICE to the customer. When we looked at the big box home improvement & tile stores, we were really disappointed at the lack of knowledge and samples available, a real waste of time.
