Dr. Krause is literally one of the best Urologists in the Houston area. He saved my best friend's life after diagnosing her with a condition no other doctor had even considered due to her age. Her procedure was flawless and she is now in good health, whereas before she felt like she was dying due to pain- so she recommended him. I'm also relatively young to have a Urologist, but I have a chronic condition that makes it necessary. Is there usually a wait to see him? Yes. Does it go beyond your appointment time? Often. But if you are looking for a doctor with good bedside manner who you feel takes his time with you in the room, prioritizes your health by delving deeper into all your issues, and will actually help fix the problem and not the symptoms... see Dr. Krause. I had an Appointment on 09/26/2022 at 10:30 AM. I chose this hour because it gave me ample time to see the doctor and make it to school for my classes. I showed up a little early because I knew I had paperwork to fill out. 10:30 comes and goes, and I'm still sitting in the waiting room. An elderly couple comes in about 10:55 AM, at 11:10 am they are taken to the back. I get up and ask the receptionist "what happening?". about the couple that was taken to the back before me. She informed me that they their appointment was before mine. I informed her that they were over 30 minutes late for their appointment, the receptionist tried to joke it off saying, "they weren't that late". so I sit down and wait longer. Finally it has become apparent to me that i wouldn't be able to see a doctor before my classes started, so i asked the receptionist to reschedule my appointment, and instead of rescheduling my appointment she gets up and walks to the back. I ask the other young lady who is sitting off to the left if she can reschedule my appointment, she tells me i have to wait for the other girl. What happened next has never happened to me before. The receptionist came back with a young man, who proceeds to tell me that the is super over booked, and I asked "why wasn't this relayed to the patients when we came in?". his answer was "I didn't think we had to". then he goes into some story about the doctor leaving the country so everyone is coming in to see him before he leaves and that the doctor is busy with 2 very important patients in the back so they don't know when the doctor will be able to see me. I asked for my appointment to be rescheduled and instead I was insulted to my face. I left after that and didn't reschedule. I will not see a Doctor who doesn't believe all his patients are important. read more

I had a 2pm appointment on for a wellness visit. I called the morning of my visit to confirm the time, to inquire about backing up the visit to better schedule my day, and to allow the doctor's office the opportunity to let me know if all was going as planed. I was informed there were no later times and that they were running on time. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment. It is now 3:40 and i am still sitting here waiting. No doctor yet. They could have called to let me know they were running late as they had called days earlier to remind me to be on time. So, i got up and walked up to the receptionist to let them know I had been waiting 100 minutes. Still no doctor... Leaving now 3:50 pm, it is a good thing I was not sick... although I will never get my time back. When did it become ok to not honor an appointment or at the very least let everyone know when they would not be honored so as to allow other time decisions to be made. Kind of ironic they hand you a sheet of paper when you first walk in informing they will charge $25 and $50 if you don't give them 24 hours notice if you cannot keep your side of the appointment.
