Calling all home brewers and wine makers, this is your store…read more The employee working wasn't the owner, but he was incredibly knowledgeable. They have everything you'd need to make beer or wine at home. They have the Mr. Beer kits, glass bottles, and a lot of other extract flavors to choose from. Then they also have grains there too if you're into the all grain recipes. My husband is he beer maker so I don't even know what all I was looking at in there. I didn't know there was such a think as wine making at home. They sell the grapes there in huge kits that has everything you need to make wine. They have all kinds of whites, reds and blends. They also have some premium quality grapes too. I had sticker shock because the wine kits are anywhere from $60-$300 however they make 30 bottles so it actually breaks down to a reasonable price. Wether you're a master or newbie, they'll have what you need. Random: They also sell farm fresh eggs for $3 a dozen. I just happened to see the sign as we were leaving so I didn't find out anything about who raises them, what they feed their chickens, etc. But I certainly will ask when I go back.

This a lifestyle hobby. People here are advocates for the craft. You want to try something you seen…read moreonline, come here they will have what you need or have the knowledge of how to get it. If you are not in a rush they will share whats brewing behind the counter and they probably would like to get your opinion on one or two of their recent batches they have chilled.

First and foremost- Don't let the name fool you, Yes, they sell extracts too!…read moreThis place is literally out if the basement of the owners house. The enterence is the backside of the garage, in the backyard. Once you see the prices, you won't even care. For what I bought, his prices are the same as preshipping costs of the biggest online homebrew store. Getting it today and not paying shipping? Huge plus. He was extremely knowledgeable too. I've been brewing for over 10 years, and I learned about a years worth of knowledge in 20 minutes there. He was also VERY helpful. I wanted to try and clone a seasonal beer at Blind Tiger, and he texted the master brewer to find out what base extract to use! I was dead set on using a "wrong" extract, so the sale was going to happen. He truly cares about his customers and the hobby.

I just recently visited this shop and had a great experience! At first I was a bit weary because…read morethe other review claimed the shop was in his basement. However when I drove up everything is well advertised and I was directed exactly where to go. The shop is in his garage and upon entering I was kindly greeted by the shop keeper! He was very friendly while being professional and clearly very knowledgeable about everything home brewing. He has a wide selection of yeasts and I suspect just about any piece of equipment you'd need for beers, wines, even liquor distilling. I was going in for some mead supplies myself but now I suspect Ill try my hand at beer brewing. -side note his prices are great and he accepts card!
