I had to file Bankruptcy with this attorney more than once because I lost employment. Each time I had to pay the filing fee $313+. The last Chapter 13 filing he asked for a $1k retainer fee + the $313 filing fee in duress and prior to me paying it I asked or confirmed that it would be refunded and he told me yes. if he said No I would've filed with another attorney which I had previously contacted plus I was sure that it would be refunded because this was my final attempt at filing. The biggest issue was his communication style and Greed that became apparent because my 5 year plan for $50k debt at the monthly rate didn't add up. Subsequently, Chapter 13 was not the right solution and my case was dismissed again. why use him again? I have high student loan debt and he was one of the few attorneys that would challenge it in order for me to possibly have a successful case. Nevertheless, I mistakenly chose a small fry who is money hungry where I should've went to a big firm who could to afford to pay their clients what they owe! do not use him and I'm currently fighting to have my money returned based in principle and ethics.
