I had many referrals from friends and family that I first tried to meet with after numerous attempts to gain an actual face to face consultation I resorted to the Internet . I called one Attorney who seemed to be a very well known I was basically told that to come talk to him plan on paying a retainer which was non refundable in the event his services were not needed then came across Kish and Lietz after reviewing the information on their website I made a call. Carl Lietz was on the phone immediately no can I take a message and have him call you back. I discussed my situation and was invited to the office for a consultation which was promptly scheduled within a day or two of my call. I met with Carl gave him the details of my situation and was shocked when he basically told me he wouldn't want to take any money until I was sure I would need his services. I was very shaken up by the events that led up to me needing representation and had many sleepless nights Carl was able to instill confidence in me and ease my mind. The consultation lasted for an hour or so and at the end he told me should I need his services to call and then he would accept a retainer. I had to insist he accept some sort of retainer just to ease my concerns which he did. I left his office with the confidence that I had retained an incredibly knowledgeable attorney. Carl also handed me his contact information and made it clear that should I have questions or concerns he was reachable 24/7. Time passed and I did end up needing Carls services. I can only say that had it not been for Carl I would have suffered many worrisome days and nights. Carl made me feel as though I was as important as any of his other clients never made me feel as I was a bother when i called with silly questions and re assured me my situation would turn out fine and it did. Atlanta Magazine refers to him as a Super lawyer and I feel this sells him short he is an amazing Lawyer, full of knowledge, very personable, and an all around great person. I have a simple issue about collecting sales tax for a non-profit. Sales tax is an area in which Peck Group claims to have experience and expertise. They allow inquiries for the consultation by phone or email (actually it's a contact form that comes up). After 2 days there was no acknowledgement of my inquiry in any form so I called. The lady was nice at first, took some info, and looked to see if an attorney could do the consultation. She returned to say I should "Google it" as they would not be able to help me. She literally also said they did not want to waste their time with it. What a joke their "Free 30 minute telephone consultation" is.
