I was thinking I wanted balayage, but wasn't sure what technique - just wanted to overall brighten my look. I was encouraged after reading such positive reviews and I must say, Scott Richards does not disappoint. Scott used a technique of foil, hair teasing and darkened the prior color treatment that was still on my ends. He really took time to get it perfect. I can see now why everyone loves him! I love the results! He also is affordable, the salon has a great atmosphere and the rest of the staff is so friendly. He even brought me french fries from the next-door deli when he went to buy his lunch! I would give more than Five Stars if I had the option! So happy I found Scott!

She booked me same day. I showed up at the shop at 4pm (my appointment time) and she was very nice. She did have someone before me but spoke to me and told me that she would be with me shortly. After discussing what i wanted and what she could do she started on my hair shortly after 4:30pm. I was done by 6:45pm. I personally prefer my hair to be a little tighter, and it was the perfect tightness. It was also neat and exactly what i wanted. Also after talking to Lidwine i learned that she is not only a braid stylist, but she has her cosmetology license and truly knows and loves doing hair which made me feel good. I am giving 4 stars right now only because i only give 5 stars after i have fully assessed my braids all weeks i have had them in. But so far so good (i will upload pics soon). Lastly, I showed another braided the same pic and was told that they could not do that style on me because "i did not have enough hair in the back to grab" (lies they tell!), but Ms. Lidwin got my whole life including in the back ; and it is neat! Update: 5 stars...truly happy with my hair!

She took me from an uneven and damaged bleach and tone to a healthier lived-in dirty blonde that is SO gorgeous, her talent is unreal, she is literally an artist.
