More of a novel place to visit. The strong scent of incense reminded me of a grandmas house. My friends took me to this spot since I'm visiting SF. There's a waterbed seating area by the entrance (looks like the fir shag cover needs to be washed) and a booth area made with old jacuzzi parts. A place with a lot of personality. And disco lights. Posters of naked ladies covers the entire place- floors, walls, tables, everywhere. Boobs and weenies everywhere you look. Definitely not somewhere I'd come back to regularly but it was a fun place to visit. The p*rn on the tvs was shocking lol. Honestly I'd recommend checking out this unique bar but maybe not for everyone. The bathroom door is just a curtain. Btw the bras you see at the bar are donated by the community. I was told you can just offer up yours on the spot if you want!!

I really think everyone needs to check this place out at least once because it is like no other place. Reminded me of a bar in Williamsburg, very weird and fun. You walk in and theres a water bed to the left, look up and its decorated with playboy pinups as well as the floors. The lights are all red and bras and panties hanging along the bar. Chairs along the bar are car seats and other weird shit. in the back of the place is where you need to go. There are sections for bigger parties. Theres an RV, theres a couple tables inside a covering but the best one is an open jacuzzi that seats about 4 with a table in middle. Grab your drinks and head to the back and laugh at all the weird shit. SO, grabbing the jacuzzi comes with a tv behind you that shows music videos and then cuts to porn for like 15 seconds after like a minute of music. Goes from a Madonna video to some lady suckin away! Pretty funny stuff. Watching peoples faces makes the time.

My friends and I came here after going to a wine bar on a Saturday night and it was definitely the most unique bar I've been to in SF! It's a super quirky bar with waterbeds and very interesting decor that is definitely not for the faint of heart. It was pretty crowded around 10pm but still not too crowded where you couldn't get around. Overall would recommend for a fun and different atmosphere to grab a drink.

I was very pleased at the fast service and tasty drink options at this niche bar in Polk Gulch. The ambiance was perfect to bring my date after we had an amazing dinner at Fiorella up the street (which was also amazing). 10/10 would highly recommend. I'm definitely sending all my friends here.

Fascinating... Waterbeds to lounge in... 80s TV commercials with pornography spliced in... Bar with pictures of nude ladies... Booths with Jacuzzi seating... And decor that I wouldn't call pro-feminists... The crowd is typical 20s-30s San Franciscan hipsters...I wonder how they all afford to live here. The bachelor party and I were pretty drunk by the time we arrived, but I do remember that 2 Stellas, 2 tequila shots, and an Old Fashioned ran $38, which I don't think is too terrible for San Francisco.

Kozy Kar is a unique place. Cheap beers, bras hanging above the bar, old half cars with worn out seats to sit in, pictures of older era playmates on the bar, a loop of 70s TV shows mixed in with porn, etc. People that love themes and kitsch would probably like it here. I wish it opened earlier so I could come here right after work (opens at 7) but it's not an after work kinda bar rather more of a dark divey drinking den until the wee hours type of place.

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The club was set to close at 2am -- so they start getting everyone together and closing out tabs a 10 minutes or so before it actually closed. I finish my drink and gather my belongings to go to the restroom beforehand. It was occupied at the time ... so I decided not to worry anymore and walk back to my friends. As I'm doing so, I hear the guard rudely speaking to them and telling them to leave. I advised the man that the club was still open at the moment (they had about 5 mins left) and that we actually were heading out then. I also told him that he didn't have to speak to my friends like that - after he had just been joking around with them moments before. Instead of taking accountability, he immediately got an attitude with me and stated that he didn't care about that and it was time to go. Another female guard then popped up randomly and essentially told me to "fix my delivery" and that the man was her brother. To which I replied, that they were both ultimately in the wrong. I understand wanting to leave work but being rude and distasteful towards paying customers isn't the way to do jt. I hope they hire better employees it was a nice place!

There were only two service staff; we could tell they were working hard but they definitely needed more help. We made two trips to the bar and it took about 15-20 minutes to get service. Drinks were decent. A larger group arrived to the left of us, and about 20 minutes after they arrived, the male service worker told us we had to move cause our spot was reserved. Mind you, we'd been there for almost two hours at this point and nobody had mentioned anything about our spot being reserved, and there was no sign holder indicating it either. It was also advertised as a "no cover" event, so curious to know how reservations were even made. He told us we could move over to the wall; which we discovered was right next to the restrooms and the line of users. Not cool. We then noticed that the larger group had spread out and taken our spot; were we supposed to believe these were the supposed "reservation" holders and not just your friends? Overall, just another mediocre bar that caters to the people they know. Not much concern for new customers, so we have no interest in returning or recommending to anyone. Plenty of other bars in the city; better bars that won't make you feel inferior.

Every drink had 10,000 ingredients, and most of them did not work together. If the drink did work together, you just tasted nothing because everything blended together and you couldn't taste any special or fun ingredients.  Unfortunately, I don't think this spot is worth looking for.
