And they try to make it that was my fault for not requesting to be seen at Thorndike St. As I have said I have only been to their Thorndike St. location in 5 years and do not drive. After Lowell General tried to dismiss this and send me home, I demanded an MRI that was reviewed by Dr Cook. He remarked that my disc in my back was so herniated that he could see it across the room, it was pressing the sciatic nerve which was causing the intense pain. 2 Days later I was in surgery. I'm so glad that I finally left this office because I have been waiting to write this review for years. I have lived all over the country and have had over a dozen doctors and this is by far the worst healthcare I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this facility to ANYONE. I feel it is necessary to share my experience if it helps someone make the decision not to go here. My last visit with them, towards the end of 2022, was the absolute final straw. I have a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (type III) that affects my connective tissue, causes chronic joint and muscle pain, and impacts many of my bodily functions. It is a rare and under-researched disease that progresses with age, so a lot of what I am experiencing is very new. Every monthly appointment, I have something new to discuss with my provider, including muscle tension/spasms, urinary and gastrointestinal issues, pelvic floor issues, and extremely painful periods. I have been particularly dealing with digestive issues lately, having little appetite, getting full after two bites, suffering from constipation, and losing 30 pounds without trying in just a few months. I asked for a referral to a GI doctor and while explaining my symptoms, my provider, Roshani, told me that I am "overthinking my symptoms". I was bewildered. How could she look at my chart and see a 30 pound weight loss and tell me I'm overthinking it? It is so incredibly frustrating to know something is wrong with my body but not know what it is and to have minimal support from the person whose job it is to help me. I am in pain constantly, developing new problems every day, and trying to figure them out myself. In fact, Roshani didn't even know what my disorder was until I explained it to her. She clearly doesn't have any education on it because if she did, she would know that my symptoms are very real and all related to my EDS. I had long sensed that she didn't take me seriously, and this incident confirmed it. This caused me to finally switch doctors after 4 years of negative experiences with CBC. In fact, there are so many that I can't even fit them all into one Yelp review, so I took screenshots of the rest. Feel free to read the attached photos that discuss several other incidents that led up to one big incident of the old office manager, Chen, acting incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful towards me. I will note I have never had any personal issues with anyone else in this office, the ladies at the front are very kind, but Chen (who has since been replaced) and Roshani were both extremely unprofessional and horrible to deal with. It blows my mind that this office is still running. I switched to Lahey, who listened and empathized with all of my concerns, and after just one visit, I had several referrals. I wish I switched years ago, maybe my symptoms wouldn't have progressed so badly if I had been appropriately helped when I needed it.

My Primary Care, Julie, got the ball rolling with me even though she was supposed to be on Lunch break. If you ask me that is dedication to her patients and practice. I was in for a routine physical and because of my conditions I had to have a few extra tests done aside from the average patient physical. 8/17/16 I was back in CBC's office this morning and I had another great experience with staff going out of their way to help me get what I needed. Irma and Marla are the greatest they are always so pleasant and helpful. I ran into a slight problem with one of my treatments and the insurance company but Julie and Irma figured out a way to resolve it. All in all these past two visits in the past two days have been a great experience for me. Every visit is always pleasant and very helpful and informative. All of the staff are very nice and helpful and you can ask them any question you may have and feel comfortable. They don't judge they are just there to help you and provide for your needs and answer any question that you have. My experiences have always been great coming here for my medical care. They were closed until 1pm for lunch, which I didn't know about. I had to sit there and wait, which was annoying. Then when they came back, I had to fill out paperwork, so that pushed my appointment even further. When I met the dr, she was so very sweet! She answered all my questions, didn't rush me and explained everything she was doing. I felt so comfortable with her. She's one of my favorite drs! I'm so glad I met her. Even though things started off rocky, I did like the dr a lot, so I gave her 5 stars.

I called my doctor who said I may be experiencing ovarian torsion, which is a medical emergency and requires immediate surgery to restore blood flow to the ovary and reduce risk of internal bleeding. I was weeping and shaking, in so much pain I couldn't speak so my husband had to talk for me. My husband begged for a pelvic floor ultrasound and we were told to wait as I wailed on the floor. The staff ignored us. After five hours of pain and screaming in the waiting room without any attention, we left to drive to a different ER. The staff and management of this hospital should be ashamed of themselves. They do not care for you.

I was in the hospital for seven days for stenosis in my back. My Care was horrible. I did have two…read morenurses who were very caring and helpful. They were Dawn, and I think the other one's name was Chloe. The other nurses ignored my calls, but since my bed was set with an alarm because they didn't want me getting up by myself, I learned to sit up, which made the alarm go off. Then they had to come running.! I told them that I had a constipation problem and that I needed to take laxatives, two in the morning and two at night. I had been doing this for years. They refused to listen to me. They said they had to check with the doctor. They would only give me one laxative in the morning. Each day They asked me if I had a bowel movement, which of course I didn't. Every day they asked, and every day I told them I needed two laxatives in the morning and two in the evening. After seven days, they wanted me to leave, but told me I couldn't leave until I had a bowel movement. So they made me drink 10 glasses of MiraLAX. At that point, the floodgates opened! I had a commode next to my bed. When I had to go, as soon as I stood up, the stool came pouring out, and I slipped and fell on it! Someone told the incoming nurse that I had ALMOST fallen. I said, Oh no! I ACTUALLY fell! They were apparently trying to cover their asses! My sister called the patient advocate and told him what happened and he said, I will call up there and find out the REAL story! So much for patient advocates!

This please is a practice I would advise anyone in it to leave and anyone going to it - relook at other options as they will over charge you and dismiss you if you can't pay. Trust me not a nice place to deal with when your having financial holdback on your health plans with high deductibles - STAY AWAY!
