So I decided to trust her with my own hair color--and she absolutely delivered Cindy was on point with exactly what I wanted. She took her time, explained everything, and made sure the end result was right--not rushed, not "close enough," but exactly right I've already booked my next appointment with her, which says everything. Discounted priced for a discounted service :/ I came here back in February to get my nails done for the $30 freestyle special. I'm not sure if the artist was new but it took nearly an hour to even glue the nails on. There were also globs of glue under my nails that were not drilled down. The artist was going to do sparkles, but decided against it but did not wipe it off all the way so I had sparkles on only one nail. Also, some nails were not cured all the way and the airbrush was literally peeling off before I left the parking lot. I went back in to get it fixed but after waiting for 15 minutes, I just went down the street to get my nails completely redone because of everything that went wrong and the fact that I was already there for 2+ hours. I decided to give Kosmo another chance because I heard that they were more of a hair salon than a nail salon, so I go in for a haircut and highlights. I emphasized many many many times that I want warm, caramel highlights. The highlights I received were not only too blonde/yellow, but a bit choppy as well. I visited this salon on Black Friday for a birthday nail appointment and a head spa treatment, specifically because they FALSELY advertised a major sale on their social media page. The promotions looked promising and clearly listed discounted services, including a Head Spa for $65 and a French Mani + Pedi for $85, Based on the pricing displayed and the small add-ons I requested, I reasonably expected to pay around $200 at most. Instead, I was charged a shocking $340!!! The head spa treatment included optional add-ons for a facial and massage, which I selected. With the advertised sale price and those add-ons, my estimate was roughly $100. For my nails, I chose the advertised $85 French manicure + pedicure special and requested small jewels only on both middle fingers, and index fingers which should have been a minimal charge. I also asked about upgrading to the Luxury Pedicure. The technician told me the hot stone feature was unavailable, and said I would instead be charged for the basic pedicure -- completely fine, but that still kept my total well within my original expected range. Even being generous with upgrades and add-ons, there is no logical or ethical world where the total should reach $340!! Beyond the pricing deception, the service quality and professionalism were deeply concerning: * The manicure technician repeatedly dropped tools and products, visibly nodding off and falling asleep throughout the appointment. * The pedicure technician cut my big toe, causing pain and minor bleeding. * At no point was I offered a beverage or even water, which is standard hospitality at any reputable salon, especially during a lengthy appointment. * There were no uniforms, no masks, no visible sanitation protocol, no professional standards, and nothing to indicate proper licensing or training. * Staff appeared disengaged, fatigued, and poorly managed, creating an uncomfortable environment overall. The so-called "manager" (or owner, unclear since there was no identifiable attire or name tag) was extremely rude and dismissive, making me feel like a burden from the moment I walked in. Instead of addressing concerns ethically or professionally, she displayed irritation and hostility, offering no transparency, apology, or breakdown of charges when questioned. This was hands-down the worst salon experience I've ever had -- financially, physically, and emotionally. The establishment is: * Misleading customers with fake sales * Overcharging with no explanation * Providing unsafe and unsanitary services * Operating without professionalism or customer care I will never return, and I strongly urge others -- especially anyone booking for special occasions -- to avoid this business at all costs. A celebration should never end in injury, deception, and a $340 bill for services worth half that at most!! read more

I really wanted to like this place! The facility is beautiful. I went in for a pedicure with my boyfriend. The pedicure chairs were really nice and the place and practice seemed clean. However we went In to relax. There were no other customers in their besides us and the other employees would come in and sit next to our nail techs and start gossiping very loudly. Our nail techs were constantly interrupted and would stop doing our service to check their phones quite often. There were lots of unsolicited conversations about other employees services and one begging another to give them free services. It felt like we were the ones imposing on their party. They need a new receptionist! I called to make an appointment and the lady tells me oh you don't need to make an appointment you can just come in. I was really confused because it literally says on their Facebook page to call and make an appointment. I know walk ins are welcome but it's best to make appointment so you don't have to be waiting around. 2 part review: Hair services: 5 stars!!! I found Christopher on Instagram and loved his work. He did not disappoint when he color corrected my hair. I will not go to anyone else in corpus. He was friendly and really knows how to color and cut hair. Atmosphere: 3 stars. It is not the place you go for a spa type setting. I have no comment on nails because I've never had them done there. It is pretty loud in there so relaxing can be difficult. This isn't the type of salon that offers wine or coffee, I received a baby bottle size water bottle. I go only for the superior hair services. I would not go here if Christopher was not working there. I went after school got out and honestly, there were kids everywhere. I have a child, so that's not the issue. I went there to do micro blade eyebrows. Angelica is the one who did them. The first time she did a horrible job of aligning my eye brows alike or symmetrical and they faded quickly. I went 6 weeks later for the touch up and I had to pencil my own shape and she did a better job of coloring, but they are still not even and one side is longer at the tail than the other. It was a cold day and they claimed they had no hot water supply and rushed through our pedicures with room temperature water. I asked and they said it there was nothing they could do about the cold water. I should've left then but my daughter really liked their staff and wanted to stay. There was one girl doing our nails while another did our toes. I felt like they were rushing through to move into the next customer. What should have been relaxing was not. The lack of time to soak in warm water left my feet with dead skin that they didn't get off due to cold water and rushing. This place was a huge mistake and I'll never return. Pros: This place was a solid good. I found it online and we were flying in from out of town for a wedding this past November. It's a one stop shop to get your hair, nails, make-up done. Very convenient. My 6 year old had a blast picking out nail colors for the pair of us. Nice staff and we had a good experience at each station. Cons: I'm a native Texan so I say this with experience: the lady that did my daughter's hair did not put enough hair spray in her hair. I loved the style but literally by the time we left, her hair started straightening out. I should've complained but we had to get to a wedding ... I told the make-up lady that I don't usually put on make-up so make it look more natural. She made the brows waaaaay too dark and thick, even after asking her to tone it down (though it did look a little better). That said, I got used to it and liked it by the end of the evening. Alright girls, here it goes. My experience at this place was absolutely terrible. I had to wait about 30 minutes after my appointment time to get my nails done. I can't remember the name of the girl who did my nails, but she was nice enough. The problem was that she gave me the wonkiest, ugliest, bumpiest french manicure. I only noticed this after I walked out of the salon and I could see my nails in full sunlight. I paid full price for the nails. I didn't go back in to cause a scene because that's not who I am. While all the girls here are nice... Its obvious there is a lack of professionalism, customer service and training. Mani/pedi... Water was cold. The towel that the girl pulled out to sit my feet on had clumpy unknown something on it. My manicure was done at the same time as my pedicure making it very uncomfortable to sit with my arms crossing the chair, a nail dryer in my lap and my feet in cold water. I had to go home and fix my cuticles and excess gel polish painted on my skin. The girls were complaining about tips, and getting weekends off. I watched a girl get her hair cut and my stomach turned at what was being done to her with scissors. Place was loud, and felt more like a hang out spot for employees than a salon. Though my pedicure did turn out decent, and the girl was sweet, the rest of the atmosphere was not appropriate for clients. I will not be back. read more
