We went here for breakfast this used to be one of our favorite places. The food was amazing, customer service was great, and prices were fair. We came back recently and everything has changed under the new owner. Disposable dishes and plates, no coffee included with the meal anymore, no side salad nothing. We ordered three shakshukas (two spicy, one regular). None of them were spicy, and the eggs were undercooked to the point that the dish looked completely unappetizing and tasteless. The bagels were wrong, and I had to go back and ask for the correct one. The coffee was watered down, the tea cups were tiny, and they weren't even filled all the way. To make matters worse, we paid $68 for three tasteless shakshukas, one coffee, and one tea. Overall, the entire experience was very disappointing. The food was OK I thought it was overpriced but it is a kosher restaurant that does cost more. Not impressed with the bagels and the nova did not seem hand sliced to me. The omelette was good but I think the original bagel Cove is much better and has table service. It's nice to have a kosher option out there if you eat kosher or Halal so it will do but nothing to write home about. We were looking for a real New York style bagel and found it here. They are closed on Saturday so really a Kosher location. We got a dozen and chive cream cheese and they were soft and chewy just like they are supposed to be. Now looking forward to making sandwiches out of the leftovers. Ordered to go from here on a Friday afternoon for a Sunday morning pickup. Picked up the food only to get home and realize the nova wasn't with the order. Drove a while back to pick it up which they had waiting for me. Drove back home again and realized the bag didn't come with the platter of onions, tomatoes and cucumbers that it should have. The food was great (assorted bagels, tuna salad, nova, rugelach) but dropping the ball on the packaging was disappointing. Will give another try soon and hope that was a fluke mistake. read more

This place is crazy. The person assigned to fill orders cannot read any of the slips, he has to find someone to tell him what they say. One staff member's mask was below her nose and she occasionally tugged it below her chin. The same staff member never changes her gloves, she handled money, a cell phone and played with her hair all while filling orders. It took over half an hour to get a half dozen bagels. I had plenty of time to watch the three ring circus. First I stood in line to order and pay. Then another line to get the order filled. The bagels are the real thing and they are fresh. They compare very well to the ones I get in NYC. I was disappointed that the very efficient counterman used the same gloved fingers to handle someone else's lox and my loxless bagel. Lox is oily and strong tasting, and I could really taste the previous customer's loxy essence on my bagel with cream cheese. Not ideal.
