My 2nd visit, he was very short so I did a follow up visit because I didn't feel my concerns addressed. I asked more questions and he was happy to answer all of them. Every visit after has gone smoothly. Whenever I need an appointment I can get in the same week. I am grateful to have found a good doctor in Galt. My only complaint is that they need to update their soap dispenser in the bathroom and refill it without it being watered down.

Dr. Akbar Umar was absolutely wonderful. This was our first time meeting him, and from the very beginning, he displayed a calm, gentle, and compassionate demeanor. I work in construction so I'm unable sometimes to be all the time with my wife and our daughter appoints. For the past 9 months we have made appoints, and have always been on time, but my wife and dauther have always had to wait an hour, sometimes hour 1/2, until they get seened by her doctor. One day my wife was late for the first time by 5 mintues, they told her sorry she was late so she had to reschedule, my wife wasn't going to get in a fight with them cause she didn't want drama. However my grandmother was furious and told them all the other times you made us wait more than an hour and just because for the first time she's late by 5 mintues, she has to reschedule that is B*ll let me talk to your manager. Long story short she was finally able to get seen by the doctor, its because of this situation I have changed my insurance carrier to Kaiser, and for the first time we were in an out 20 minutes. Once I found towns health services they lead me to all the resources I need. They worked with me with on the flexibility of my schedule. Dr towns was very professional, direct and fair. All the counselors I had really took an impact on my sobriety today. Without them I don't think I would be sober today but now tomorrow I will be hitting my 100 days of sobriety.
