The financial aid liaisons were knowledgeable and pointed me in the proper directions in a timely manner. Never had an issue with funds being ready for me when I needed them. Never had an issue with parking, or choices of dining. The campus itself is beautiful! Second to nine in my opinion. The only thing that I think is a negative is that the freshman men's dormitory is across Ocoee from the school and people fly down that road. Even with the flashing cross walk signs and lights it can still be a dangerous spot for people.

The classes run seven weeks and are on a rolling enrollment, so you are going all year. Some weeks there is just a discussion due, while others have discussions, tests, papers, etc due and are very hectic. I would like to see them even it out a little. I give the academic side of the university four stars, but I give the Financial Aid side one. They are not very helpful and they are slow to disburse the funds, which can impede buying necessary materials and textbooks.

When we were finished with the tour, we said we'd like to be put on the wait list for January of 2017 when our daughter will be 16 weeks old. They said that was fine, they had room for us. There was no deposit or official form to sign, just a verbal agreement and our information on a loose leaf piece of notebook paper. This felt weird to me, and I had my wife call back a few weeks later to again confirm that we were guaranteed a spot. We were assured over the phone that our daughter had a spot for January 2017 Today (8/22/16) my wife heard through a friend, that Mill Country Day School was full and no longer accepting new students due to siblings of existing students potentially starting in 2017. She called to see if we still had a spot. Nope, we are no longer guaranteed a spot in January 2017. They told us to find a back up daycare for our child, just in case they cannot take our child. Had we not called, we would not have found out this important piece of information. This seems very unprofessional. We are looking elsewhere for a permanent spot for our child.
