The meat and rice are actually pretty good. They're very generous with that. The side is where my complaint is. They're very small like 2-3 tablespoon amounts. They are normal sides like macaroni, beans "cabbage salad". Now their cabbage salad is actually just a small, very small serving of plain shredded cabbage. The orders I got was one of beef and one of the chicken breast. Very well marinated and grilled. The meat is laid over a generous bed of white rice. I had to try it once at least. It was good. But would I go back to try it again? No. It's not what I expected I guess. Anyone reading this, go and try it for yourself. It's not bad. Just not my thing. read more

One the hidden gems of Kingsville, once I started coming here it's hard not to want to return! Food is super flavorful and the white rice gives it nice compliment to the meat. My favorite side has to be macaroni salad, feels like something homemade and as a college student it's a nice touch. Business is family owned and friendly, environment of the place is quaint and peaceful. Pricing could be considered a tad steep if you're on a budget, but I can comfortably eat from one plate 2-3 times so you're always getting your moneys worth! I ate here back in March, and I ordered the Beef Bulgogi. It was over cooked and not good. To make matters worse, only a few hours later, the meat smelled like it was going bad so I had to throw it out, and I had a really bad stomach ache from eating it earlier. Looks like nothing on the outside. Doesn't look much better on the inside. BUT, the food was perfect, and the portions were too much. We had BBQ beef,pork, and chicken. It was all really good. I stay in Kingsville quite often. I typically carry my food with me so that I can eat quite a bit healthier. Unfortunately tonight I didn't have anything with me because I stayed gone from home a night more than planned. I drove down the main street where all the restaurants are and saw their sign. I immediately got on Yelp to see the reviews. All were really good so I proceeded to the restaurant to where so ordered the Pork dish #2 which had grilled pork, steamed rice and 2 sides. I chose cabbage kimchi and black beans for my sides. I wished I would have taken a picture. The protein and rice was more than enough with a taste that was amazing! The cabbage kimchi was super good and the black beans were awesome as well. A very tasty, healthy meal for about $11. keep in mind I drank tap water. The hours are so inconsistent... posted on the door says 11:00am-8:00pm but they close at a different time every day. They close at a different time so often that they now have a new sign that changes daily with what time it closes for that day.
