After my husband accepted the bid and he accepted the job we were told we were a few weeks out. It is Nov. 1 and still our roof has not been replaced. Every time my husband has called he has been told the same thing a few week's out. When my husband called last week he was told "there are 4 roofs ahead of yours." With the weather changing we can no longer wait for Dale! Dale's Gone Roofing? More like Dale's Gone Missing! I gave a one star rating because it is the lowest allowed!

It takes nearly an act of god (our general contractor withholding payment for other houses) before the idiot comes over and does a half-assed job. There has frequently been problems with their repair. And, remember, this is over a year. BE WARNED. Specific examples: Roof leaked near our dormer, which our GC told McPeak to be careful with. Result: Took 4 days for roofer to get to our house and put SILICONE on our roof. He thought that did it. Not acceptable. Part II: required him to come back, as he said he would in the spring. He didn't come back until nearly winter. Then, he left his rag on the roof, and there is still a HOLE in the roof. No response from McPeak. The saga continues . . .

The initial assessor noted that out house, built circa 1914, had inadequate ventilation and suggested a solution. The workers who installed the roof were polite, professional, and did a great job. Very hard workers in very hot weather. The new roof is amazing. The fix to the ventilation was stunning. Our upstairs always had problems with heating and cooling. The closets were either a sauna or a freezer, depending on the season. I had attributed this to insulation problems. The difference with the new ventilation is amazing. It's an old house so in 98 degrees it still gets warm, but it is WAY more comfortable than it has ever been. Haven't had to use window units at all so far. The closets are remarkably better as well. It has made a big difference to comfort in the summer and I can't wait to see the changes in the winter. The price was reasonable for today's costs as well. Overall, I highly recommend this company.

Research your contractors, make sure they are fully licensed and bonded and make sure to check your references. I lost $6500 because I trusted someone without investigating his company first. After the very first rain, the gutters leaked heavily. They returned twice to "fix" the issues, only to make the situation worse. There were multiple unnecessary holes drilled through brand‑new gutters, and screws driven straight through the soffits and poking out. With damage like that, it's no surprise the system was leaking everywhere. I would not recommend this company for gutter installation and this review to serve as a warning to others.

I began calling Bi State in December of this year, and after talking with the receptionist but receiving no follow-up call, kept calling about every month with the same result. It is now June, and no one has ever called me back. The receptionist even told me she would pass my information onto the owner of Bi State but to no avail. I just want to talk about any options we have regarding warranty, replacement or other solutions. VERY disappointed in this company. I strongly suggest you avoid them with your business. I try to support local businesses, but this has not gone well.

We have had intermittent problems with a slow drain under the slab in our basement that we know has…read morea hole in it. I messaged Drain Pro to get them to map the pipe so the plumbers could replace it. They responded to my inquiry quickly and showed up exactly when they said they would. They checked the pipe, found that it was mostly just clogged, and showed us that the hole is very small and likely does not need replacement at this point. Then he gave us advice on how to keep it clear without them having to do it regularly, but also that he's happy to keep checking it for us going forward. Additionally, we had a power outage literally right as he was about to put the snake down the pipe, but they came back a couple hours later (well after 6pm) when the power was back and did the job. Then they didn't charge me an arm and a leg! The guys were very polite, went out of their way to be neat (going around the house instead of through it), and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. I hope I don't need their services anymore, but I'll happily use them again if I do.
