However, the billing at this practice is either unethical or they just don't know what they're doing. This is now the third time I've gotten a bill I have to call about. The first time was a random bill I was sent covering a year or so worth of services indicating I had a balance, all my EOB said I didn't and I had to call and resolve that over the phone. I have received an "estimate" of a bill before, but if you didn't look close enough, you'd assume it was a bill as it stated you needed to pay and everything within 30 days - I ended up not needing to pay anything and now, I received another bill that doesn't even come close to my EOB and in my insurance portal it says I owe nothing but according to Wilderness I do owe a balance. Sadly I'll be moving on from this practice, as I don't want to continuously have to debate bills and get them resolved.

I came to the office with one specific goal: to have all of my amalgam fillings removed and replaced with composite fillings\. Before beginning treatment, I specifically asked whether this was possible, and I was told that it was\. Based on that understanding, I moved forward with treatment, paying both my portion and what insurance covered\. The dentist I was assigned was experienced and kind, but the biggest issue throughout my treatment was a lack of communication\. During the appointments, she repeatedly questioned why I wanted my amalgam fillings removed, explaining that she had previously switched to composite fillings herself but later returned to amalgam because of tooth sensitivity\. I explained that I had been diagnosed with heavy metal toxicity and malabsorption and that removing the amalgam was an important part of my personal healthcare decisions\. What concerns me is that at no point during treatment was I told that complete removal of the amalgam might not be possible\. If I had been informed, I could have stopped treatment, asked questions, discussed alternatives, or decided how I wanted to proceed\. Instead, I believed the fillings had been completely removed\. After I transferred my care to another dentist, new X\-rays showed that five teeth still contained amalgam beneath the composite fillings\. Discovering this was extremely disappointing because it was the very outcome I had been trying to avoid\. I contacted my insurance company, which recommended that I first try to resolve the matter directly with the practice\. I met with the owner, who apologized for the lack of communication and generously offered to redo the work at no charge\. While I appreciated that offer, it did not address my primary concern\. For me, this was never just about the cost--it was about informed consent and honest communication\. Patients deserve to know when a treatment plan cannot be completed as originally discussed\. I have chosen to forgive this experience and move forward, but I also believe it is important to share it so that others understand the importance of asking questions and ensuring they fully understand their treatment\. Every patient deserves clear communication and the opportunity to make informed decisions about their own healthcare\. The office staff were excellent, and I appreciate their kindness\. My hope is that this practice places greater emphasis on transparent communication between dentists and patients so that others do not experience the same disappointment I did\.

I got my braces back in 2010, then my brother and my mom all went to Molen. We all have beautiful smiles that fit our face. We can not recommend them high enough! When you are finished with braces and no longer need orthodontics, ask for a referral for your next dentist. I went to a dentist that my friend referred my to. I had to get one of my front teeth fillings fixed. She tried to fix it but ended up making it way too short and fat. I asked her to make it the same shape as my previous one, and she gave me attitude and seemed like she was in such a crunch of time. So she finally added length to it, but she botched it again! It looked so bad... I didn't want to say I didn't like it anymore because of the attitude she gave me..... so I walked out, paid $340 for a tooth that I was so unhappy with. (Thank goodness for masks, lol) Well I was so unhappy with it, I went straight to Molen which was 1 minute away from the other dentist. They got me right in, Dr. Rick looked at my tooth, took pictures, and then Inna reshaped it to match my other k-9... and they reshaped PERFECTLY it in less than 20 minutes! (It took my other dentist 3 hours). I am so unbelievably happy with it now!! I can not thank Dr. Rick and Inna enough!
