Saw that he had a practice in the Heights, as well, and the reviews were just as awesome there as from the Montrose clinic, where I went. Both the doctor and his entire staff were amazing--knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and understanding. I didn't end up purchasing my frames here, since I needed multiple pairs and was looking for cheaper options, and the clinic understood and never put any pressure or attitude toward my decision. I can easily see why this clinic gets such great ratings. When I picked up my glasses from Costco, I saw that the prescription was spot on. Thanks, Dr. Patel!

Edgar met my expectations and even helped me pick out a pair of sunglasses. I tried on a few pair and found the perfect pair of sunglasses as well. I don't know where to begin with this place. My experience started out okay. I had an appointment…read morewith the optometrist here for an eye exam, the doctor wasn't very personable in my opinion. The whole exam was a bit awkward, he didn't talk much and when he did I just wanted him to stop. I've been to several optometrist in the past and they were all very friendly and easy to talk to. This one was different. Anyway. Done with the exam. Whatever. So I pick out a set of frames, the lady that helped me was very nice. She gave me suggestions on what looked good on my face. I ended up finding a pair I really liked. We start going through the different types of lenses I can get and all the upgrades I can do. I was very interested in getting transition lenses. The girl helping me convinced me not to get the transitions with the extra dark shade because apparently most people don't go for it and it would look odd. I took her advice and didn't get the extra dark. When I finally got my new glasses with my customized lenses, the frames were scratched and the lenses were not dark enough for me when I would go in the sun. They had no problem ordering me another set of frames but because I wasn't happy with my choice on lenses and wanted a darker shade instead, they charged me a restocking fee of $50 to return the old lenses and order the darker ones. Remember, it was THEIR recommendation NOT to get the darker lenses. I paid the damn fee. I needed my glasses to be perfect. So I wait another week for the new set of lenses to arrive, they finally come in and guess what.. The lenses are scratched! I wanted to explode but I held it in. I let them order me another pair of lenses once again, making me wait an additional week. The day finally comes to come pick them up, Guess what.. SCRATCHED SCRATCHED SCRATCHED!! Worse than the first! At this point I wanted my money back. I asked for a refund and the guy helping me told me they can do that if I like but they would charge me an additional restocking fee for everything on top of the restocking fee I had already paid! Again, NONE OF THIS IS MY FAULT. I told them I did not want another replacement. The guy helping said I would have to speak to a manager (who was not in) to proceed with a refund or a different solution. I am so pissed off. I just want my money back. They couldn't take care of me as a customer. I will not be coming back here again. I left the glasses there, didn't get my money back from them. I contacted my credit card company and explained to them my issue. They credited my account for the purchase almost instantly. I'm sorry but when your dropping almost $1K on a pair of glasses, it better be perfect.

When my contact lens provider called to verify my prescription it was changed (by someone at the doctors office) without notice to me.
