I have not consigned here yet, but I am a regular buyer. As the mom of a nine month old male, I…read morelike to dress him fashionable, but we all know how hard that is given the options at our local carters and other baby clothing retailers. I just can never justify paying full price for Nikes for a baby that will grow out of them within a couple months. I have bought brand name shoes for my son here four times that were brand new without tags. One pair of Jordans, one pair of Nikes, and two pairs of vans. They were all less than 16 bucks. If you know Jordans, you know that they run $65 and up even for baby sizes. I love the fact that they don't accept clothing from Walmart and Target because I can just run down there and buy those things myself for relatively inexpensive prices. I truly do appreciate that they carry higher end brands without the high-end price tag. I have seen toms, uggs, nike, adidas, and many others in the shoe section alone. Their store is well-organized and easy to navigate. There is always help availabile if needed and the ladies who staff the shop are so sweet. I have never purchased anything here that was anything more than very gently worn. That includes Janie & Jack sets, an H&M linen shirt, an indoor bounce house, disney books, tons of Kate Quinn separates, and even a Little Sleepies zipper pajama. I don't plan on consigning much just yet because I plan on having at least one more baby, but I absolutely will be in the future. I am so glad that we finally have a high-end kids consignment store here in the valley... it alleviates a lot of stress for me because now I don't have to worry about trying to sell things on OfferUp or Facebook marketplace and having to meet-up with strangers.

They are still not for me as given the money you are going end up with, based on the value of those goods and the split, i feel better donating the out grown things.

I love Coco Rose Home as it's my favorite coco rose store out of them all. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help once you find something you need or have questions about. It's always great to support a local small business. If you are in downtown La Quinta check out coco rose for their home goods stores and also their clothing store nearby. It's a fun place to shop and unique.

But ...A weird thing happened while I was shopping. I'd been the only customer for 15 mins and out of the blue, another woman comes to look at cards on same rack -- and then begins pulling cards out to re-organize them. She did ask if I was looking at that rack, and by this time I'd moved to the adjacent rack. But it felt like she was surveilling me. I found the card I wanted to buy, and went to pay for them. Whether she was watching me or not, it creeped me out. She was "extra" in her energy and it gave me weird vibes. I'm a very low key shopper. And I am not paranoid. In case the owner reads these reviews, if they have an employee who's an extra spunky type, please ask her to chillllllllll. No one's trying to lift any cards. And no one's messing up the well-organized set up. thanks.

The clothing, textiles, handbags, shoes and accessories are all in soft neutral colors, many with texture to give them that next level appeal. Think creams, oatmeal, blush, tan, camel, gray, black - it's all so soothing and easy to mix and match to create outfits that are both easy to wear and polished. My favorite item was the handbags! They are displayed in the window and they are the reason I walked in. They didn't disappoint! Designed and made by Oliveve, the leather is scrumptious! I had to look them up online and when their website mentioned they source their leather from Italy and the US, it made sense. There is something about Italian leather that speaks to me! Manufactured outside of NYC, the designs are classic yet unique, and a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. I'm now following them on Instagram. Also loved the pillows and throws! Neutral in color, they had so much texture and pattern they would make an elegant statement in any room while also being functional. The young lady that was working that day, Katelyn I believe, was super helpful and friendly. I like when you can browse at your leisure but have the option of assistance when needed. That is exactly the type of service provided. When looking to enhance your wardrobe, buy a quality handbag or accessorize your home, a stop at the House of Lola should be on your list.
