This clinic's staff are great across the board. The facility is very inviting and the care I've received has been very good. I have a HUGE concern with timeliness of my appts though. I had to visit the clinic twice in a week and waited 25 minutes the first day and 15 the second visit. At neither time did an employee come out to the wait area to explain the delay. On the second visit, others with an appt at the same time (we pretty much walked in within a few minutes of each other) all were back in the exam rooms on time. Led me to believe it was just the person I was scheduled with which doesn't excuse the lack of communication for the wait. It is my best guess that I'd be asked to reschedule if I were 25 mins late arriving. Dr Kondas is a very good dentist. He listens, seems genuine in his concern, and takes his time to discuss the plan for my dental needs. The person who did my exam and cleaning was also great, although she was a bit "short" when I said something about waiting for 25 minutes. Something about, we can't just have the patient get up and leave if we are running late. An apology would have been more appropriate. I will and do recommend this dentist when I get a chance to in conversation. read more

I began going to Dr. Kondas over the summer after my last dentist moved from the area. The building is easy to access, and it is decorated beautifully, it doesn't even look like a dental office. Huge reception area with plenty of space and the staff is ultra-friendly. Once I was taken back to the actual work areas, I was pleasantly surprised by TV in each station, allowing the patient to watch TV if they like. My hygienist took the time to explain everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable. I did have a few cavities (as I had suspected) and on subsequent visits, I was always put at ease and staff went out of their way to be friendly. Dr. Kondas is very personable and wears the coolest Ohio State scrubs ever. ;) Even when I had to reschedule an appointment due to a work conflict, they were accommodating and got me in the next day. They also have a whitening program that is ongoing as long as you are a regular patient. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

When you are running a business confirmation of appointments are important due to the high rate of cancellations. When people don't show up the company looses money. So why fault them on that fact. The office does call and email you about your appointment and request confirmation so just take that 5 seconds and confirm it. Dr Kondas is an excellent dentists. Most would say a little pricey, but I have went to a cheaper dentist whom ended up costing me more money. So you get what you pay for does apply. He is an excellent dentist and has the best competent hygienist or trust me he would not hire them. Dr Kondas has a high standard of care and it shows through his great smiles he creates. I have never had a problem with any dental work he has performed and I have had numerous fillings, crowns, and root canal over the years. The only fault I would have is the office is cold, but they are happy to provide you a blanket. read more

Finding a Dentist can be a pain. I was fortunate to have Dr. Kondas recommended to me by my Nephew. My teeth were getting bad-to the point of needing dentures. I was told I could get some inexpensive ones (basically "cheap"), and get them in about 24-48 hours. I went to Dr. Kondas for some more insight and was shocked about the difference between the two procedures. Yes, dentures can be inexpensive, but that's all you get. Cheap, uncomfortable, ill-fitting teeth! This process is quite involved and takes time- (going on month two). However, after the trial fitting today, I am amazed. I can now see that after all this effort I'm about to get an awesome smile returned to me after years of utter self-conscientiousness! I have been a patient of Dr. Kondas for many years. I have rarely had to wait long past my appointment time and I have never felt that my appointments were rushed. Dr. Kondas has always made sure I was comfortable during any procedure, especially when I first came after a bad experience with another dentist. He is able to offer sedation when needed, too, which was perfect for my child with autism that didn't tolerate cleaning and fluoride treatments very well when he was young. The staff is tremendous and welcomes me and my family by name when we arrive. The waiting area is comfortable with added amenities like coffee/hot tea, video games for the kids, television and magazines. I also like that I am usually scheduled with the same hygienist for each appointment, so I get to know them on a more personal level and they know me and my history personally as well. read more

I had been going to another dentist for years when he retired leaving me searching and wondering where and who I would go to. It took me five years and I found Dr. Kondas. I have nothing but great things to say about his entire staff. Waiting time in the lobby is next to nothing, the dental hygienists and assistants are superb, and Dr. Kondas himself is gentle, kind and very patient with me even to the point of making sure my nerves are calm before starting any exam or even stopping in the middle of a procedure to make sure I'm still doing okay. I'm sorry I didn't find him five years ago when my original dentist retired. I have been a patient of Dr. Kondas since he graduated from OSU. I moved to OH from out of state and finding new doctors is not always easy. I was referred to him by a coworker and have been with him ever since. He has a great "bed side manner" and always has a smile on his face. I see Amanda and Katy for my teeth cleaning every 6 months and they are always friendly, personable and seem truly happy to see me. Debbie and the administrative staff always know me by name and greet me with a smile. Dr. Kondas and his staff treat me like family. When I do have occasion to see him immediately for my cap popping off because I thought I could eat a Bit-A-Honey candy bar without incident ~ they got me right in. After over 20 years of doing business with other dentists, I decided to return to Kondas Dental Group in 2012 because I was not satisfied with the other dental offices I dealt with in the past. They just couldn't provide the same excellent service I always look for in a dental group. Not only have I had my routine dental care provided at Kondas Dental Group...I also have had a troublesome wisdom tooth extracted as well! I was expecting the worst, but to my pleasant surprise (and great relief) I was in and out of the "chair" so quickly and efficiently, I barely notice the extraction at all...no kidding! Pain management was great. I would highly recommend KDG for all your dental needs. We have had Ortho (Invisa-line) for both my daughters, fillings for my son and regular maintenance cleaning for the rest of the family for several years now. No complaints, only kudo's! P.S. My old dentist told me my bridge was bad & I needed it replaced which was around $2600.00, I went to Dr. Kondas for a second opinion & to see if he could do it cheaper, brought my x-rays, He looked at them & then said he wanted to take his own x-rays (at no charge to me) He came back in asked me why my other dentist said I needed it replaced, When I told him he just smiled & told me that I did not need the bridge replaced!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Kondas and team to all of my friends and family. The facility is very warm and inviting. It doesn't feel like you are walking into a dentist office. The front desk staff are very professional and kind. I've been to a few where they're not warm at all, just there to get you in and out. They somewhat make you feel at home.
